And would encourage support of the establishment as a family local business.
Chandler, Q on plans for entertainment? may change overtime but would need to reapply at that time. Frongillo touts opportunity to be a good neighbor to the folks and to the pond

Presentation: FY22 Financial Audit - Scott McIntire, Partner, Marcum LLP franklinma.gov/sites/g/files/…
Annual report, Melanson merged with Marcum, otherwise same operation. A clean report per Town Administration, required communications, audit went well. Books and records in good order, timely basis. No audit entries required. No disagreements on apply of ...
Accounting principles, estimates included, are reliable.
Accounting standards changed so the order of the report changed, opinion first, the accounting standards. OPEB liabilities mention of use of the Norfolk County funding being reapplied to OPEB ...
After the Norfolk requirements are met several years down the road, that helps the OPEB situation critically. Unassigned fund balance key to 11% and hence key to the AAA rating, $15M is composed of general fund and stabilization and free cash...
Implementation of new GASB standards will take effort by finance staff for FY 2024. Reinforces use of free cash for capital, a great practice! Not everyone gets a clean audit, very important to recognize
Stood up to speak to the history that I have been witness to since 2008 when there was a problem and succeeding years of items to adjust, mgt letters etc. This is the 3rd or 4th year of a clean audit and great news

Q usage here in Franklin more than the other town, other participants use lots of septic, our usage is also due to Garelic which uses 1/3 of our water and hence as much sewer. Per Capita usage is going down esp for Franklin.
Good opportunity for employment have some co-ops from Tri-County

An Introduction to PFAS Regulations - DPW Director Brutus Cantoreggi and Water & Sewer Superintendent Doug Martin franklinma.gov/sites/g/files/… Brutus unable to participate Doug takes the lead
Well 7 tripped the PFAS levels and got shut off, has been off since. Have been planning for mitigation for well 7, fortunately federal funding is available for 0% so borrowing coming soon. EPA regulations will change to a lower level, state currently 20/ppt, soon to be 4/ppt
Assuming it does drop to 4, more than well 7 fall into the category of shut off, and could jeopardize our water supply treatment capacity, would also force a change in priority for the projects at the water dept #tc0503
Real issue is to stop the tap, stop PFAS from being made; why continue to clean it when we can address the source. #tc0503 as bad as this is, the DPW has been ahead of this as best possible
