The Scottish Stone of Scone (a Concrete) and the Asantes Golden Stool.

A ridiculous remark by a Ghanaian Christian pastor that the Golden Stool (the ancient symbol of Asanteman) is "heathen," got me riled up.

Of course, Africans have generally been mentally defiled by the European Christian propaganda which began in the 1820s, with the arrival of European Christian Missionaries to Africa.

A key lasting feature of that Christian propaganda, is the damage of the African's Mind (Brain).

It resulted in the wholesale acceptance of the European received idea. This defilement was accompanied by the total demonization of everything that defined Africans. It led to the bastardization and rejection of African Values; Customs; Culture, and Traditions.

That is when I decided to do a rejoinder on the "Pastors" article and unload on him, by referencing the Scottish Stone of Scone, aka the Stone of Destiny. The better to show him, how a Stone is kept in his hallowed Church pedigree in Scotland and England.

And, to educate him, and others like-minded, that the Pastors and Missionaries of the Scottish Presbyterian Church, through which his Church, was established in Ghana; believed in their own Sikadwa, their Stone of Scone, made of Concrete Cement.

The Scots believe that the Stone of Scone came from "God" and was the "pillow" that ancient Israel leader Yakov (Jacob-Yakubu) rested his head on in the town of Bethel when he physically wrestled with his Yahweh "God" and the "Angels."

Somehow, the Scots claim, the Jacob Stone travelled through Israel, Egypt, parts of western Europe, and finally to Ireland.

From Ireland, Scots took the "Jacob Stone," to the town of Scone in Scotland. And, that is how the Stone got its name, the Stone of Scone.

They claimed it their Stone of Destiny. The Scottish believe that. It makes sense to them.

The Stone of Scone was then used as a Seat for the Coronation of Scottish Monarchs. It was believed to provide them with Spiritual Powers, just as it allegedly provided Jacob.

In the 1290s, King Edward I of England defeated the Scots (listen carefully) and stole the Stone of Scone to London where it was placed under the English Coronation wooden Chair at Westminster Abbey (a Church).

It was thenceforth used as an accompanying seat for the coronation of English monarchs from the 1290s.

The Scots were furious, as Asantes were when the English sought to steal our SIKADWA, our Golden Stool in 1900.

After English Queen Elizabeth I, died without any children to succeed her, the Scottish King James I, succeeded to the English throne (a process that eventually resulted in the unification of the two countries).

The Scots believed their King ruling a united kingdom, fulfilled their prophecy surrounding their Stone of Scone.

As Scottish nationalism strengthened, however, Scottish nationalists were enraged, and demanded a return of their Stone,

especially following rumours that German bombs had damaged their sacred Stone, in the Second World War.

Buckingham Palace and the British House of Commons refused their demands for a return of the Stone of Scone.

In 1950, four Scottish nationalist students managed to remove the Stone to Scotland. A few months later, agents of the British Scotland Yard intelligence agency, brought it back to Westminster, England.

The Stone's presence in England, remained a sore point in relations between England and Scotland, significantly during the Devolution talks.

So, in 1996, it was mutually agreed that the Stone of Scone would be returned to its 'home,' in Scotland.

It was also agreed, the Stone of Scone would be returned to England to complete the coronation ceremonies of the English Monarchs, the King/Queen of the United Kingdom. When the coronation is completed The Stone of Scone would be returned to Scotland. That's the arrangement.

The coronation of the new King Charles III, would be incomplete without the "spiritual" input, and support provided by their SIKADWA. So, the Stone of Scone will be returned to Westminster during Charles III's coronation ceremony at Westminster Cathedral on May 6, 2023.

Note that it was King Charles ancestor, King James, who ordered English scholars to write the now most read book: The King James VERSION of the Bible. I leave you to salivate on that. But the English do not find any contradiction in the Stone of Scone, and the KJV,

which you Africans read voraciously every day.

When I finished, my Pastor associate felt thoroughly educated.

Most educated Africans are miseducated when it comes to our Prophet Okomfo Anokye Kotobrɛ; and our SIKADWA, our Customs, Traditions, and our Historical narrative.

But they gleefully, and ignorantly embrace wholeheartedly the received idea hook line and sinker.
