Subway vigilante Daniel Penny might not be charged. 🧵
Much has changed since I worked Manhattan DA under Robert Morgenthau, who charged known racist Bernie Goetz with attempted murder after shooting four black teenagers who harassed and threatened him on the subway in 1984. They all survived. Image
NYC subways were then dangerous sh*tholes. Malcolm Gladwell wrote about the Goetz incident as the Tipping Point when the city began its motion towards improvement, order, and public beautification later embodied by Giuliani and Broken Windows Theory to NYC's 90s heyday. Image
Before Goetz and Broken Windows, the subways were borderline unusable for normal people. Just total nightmare zones where assaults and robberies were essentially guaranteed. Image
New Yorkers overwhelmingly supported Goetz, and a Grand Jury initially refused to even indict him. Liberal Morgenthau pressed the case, and eventually he was indicted on attempted murder, assault, and gun charges. Image
But he won at trial, arraigned of the serious charges, convicted only on a gun charge for which he served 8 months.

The public outpouring of support solidified the incident as a major win for the working people of NYC, who were tired of being constantly harassed on the subway.
Even the staunchest Marxist couldn't deny that making the subways safe, clean, and usable for working people was a good thing.

Normal everday working New Yorkers celebrated en masse. They'd gotten their subways back. Image
Bragg is Soros DA, and Soros DAs will act against the will of their offices and constituencies, just as Morgenthau, the very definition of a Cathedral administrator, did in his own day.

So charges against Penny are certainly possible. Image
However, during my experience working as an Investigative Analyst (glorified paralegal) at the Manhattan DA after college, I will say that for the NYPD/DANY deep state, the Goetz case is a legend that runs deep. Image
Like most working American men of voting age, the NYPD union supports Trump. The DA's office investigators, usually retired NYPD officers, are even more grizzled and conservative. For them, Goetz is a foundational myth for NYC toughness.

Mayor Eric Adams comes from this milieu Image
Even among ADAs, the Goetz case is remembered and oft-cited as an inflection point—what happens when progressive naivety goes too far. New Yorkers view themselves as take-no-shit, no-nonsense fighters who overcame the odds to make a beautiful city. Goetz is a HUGE part of that. Image
Bragg will be urged by his handlers to go against the will of his office—and of working New Yorkers that Soros et al supposedly "care" about—to bring charges anyway, but doing so will create a deep divide in the power structure. It's risk he might not be willing to take.

The Solution to the H1B Problem: O-1s

To save America, American nationalists allied with globalist meritocrats. Much of this alliance was propagated on X, where the Dissident Right anon-sphere is credited with bridging the gap between MAGA and Musk via the power of memes.

"JD Vance is one of us!" I think this is in large part true.

1/16Image
A rift awaited down the road, but nobody thought it would happen this quickly.

Now, the seams of the alliance are laid bare via the H1B discussion—the "staple green card to a diploma" issue that my furthest right friends warned Trump fanboys (like me) about months ago.

2/16 Image
As I've predicted for awhile, the initial battle against what we refer to as "the woke" will be easily won, simply because it's such an obviously irrational ideology. It's a lot less nefarious than it seems, not because its not evil and destructive (it is maximally evil and destructive) but simply because it requires too much belief in too much absurdity in too short a time.

I think what just happened is this 🧵

The people closest to Kamala, the brat people, are genuinely incompetent. Prob the last staffers she hasn’t scared away, given her past controversies. True sycophants, sassy, insecure nobodies who spend too much time distracted online. 1/10 Image
The real wire pullers in the regime were so blinded by her race, gender, her “beauty” her “eloquence” that they never actually probed her. This sounds impossible, but think about it. How do rich white liberal women act around smart black women? They become their slaves. 2/10 Image
In private, Kamala is an oddball drunk—and actually maybe in private she’s even sweet and fun. Which made her even more deadly to the naive true believers behind the scenes. They saw her as an almost angelic figure. Who would press her on policy? She's too perfect. 3/10

The New Eminem Video is a Bud Light Commercial🧵
The Regime is Attempting to Get Us Back

It begins with "disturbing" bedstand, which in prior years wouldve held a bottle of whiskey, gun, coke, valium, etc.

Now, with Eminem 16 years sober, it's Liquid Death and boner pills 1/11Image
Liquid Death perfect symbol for Eminem's sad decline from real to phony, as Liquid Death itself was invented by a Warped Tour promoter who noticed musicians would pour water into beer cans to look cooler drinking them on stage

The video is a skin suit for this: 2/11 Image
The rest is a commercial for Bud Light. This is obvious as Eminem sports a shirt and doesn't criticize the brand.

Why?

Because Bud Light is touchpoint in massive propaganda campaign to recapture the favor of "average American males," for its parent company and the Regime. 3/11 Image

In 2008, Obama used popular “street artist” and weapons grade cuck Shepard Fairey’s trademark designs to break the political ad mold, a big part of the reason, imho, he was so appealing. Funny how obviously referential to communism it was even then. 1/4
Image
Today, a less well known advertising designer named David Rudnick originated this sort of design you see everywhere. Hypermodern. Chromatic/metallic. And very deep fried. The Biden camp tried it out, and it didn’t work. 2/4

Image
The work was done by low end, very mediocre creative agency called Mosaic, small, unknown, provincial. VERY odd they’d work for Biden campaign.

“Where good humans go to craft brands…” 🤢

And of course, I don’t even need to tell you it’s “black and woman owned”.

Why HBO Hates Tokyo Vice 🧵
A Fish Out of Water

A precious new vein of IP: fish-out-of-water stories of Westerners living not in the third world where they become white saviors (there’s plenty of those), but in places, like contemporary Japan, where they face the opposite. 1/19Image
These stories are particularly interesting now, with Asia ascendant, and because they’re so rare. I can think of only two on-the-ground gonzo reports about the Tokyo underworld today. Tokyo Vice, the memoir behind the HBO show, and People Who Eat Darkness by Richard Lloyd Perry, imho the most underrated literary true crime book of all time, about the murder of a British hostess club girl in Roppongi. In Tokyo Vice, Rachel Keller also plays an Roppongi hostess club girl, an exploitative Geisha-like role we don't have in the West. 2/19Image
We crave this stuff, in large part because we're so sick of hearing about our place atop our own (alleged) glass floor. But since Japan and China have, unlike the West, strong immune systems against foreign meddlers, it’s unusual for these reports to make it out. 3/19 Image

My hometown strikes again. First, Evanston became the first city in the world to offer reparations—25k one time payment to black residents.

Now, it's bringing back segregation.

1/7 Image
I'm from the BLM-lawn-sign capital of the world. Evanston a perfect storm of AWFLness—hometown of Frances Willard, founder of Women's Temperance Movement, and heavily involved in every non-liberal liberal movement in history. 2/7 Image
Perfect ratio of minorities and rich lefty white people to create endless cycle of ever increasing apologies and actions aimed at a problem they only make worse and worse.

So thus they come full circle back to segregation. 3/7 Image
