1/ I recently had the chance to inspect some Polish KTO Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carriers from the outside in the strategically important Suwałki Gap where Poland borders Russia, Lithuania and Belarus. KTO Rosomak
2/ The 8×8 wheeled multi-role military vehicle is produced by Rosomak in Upper Silesia and a licensed variant of the Finnish Patria AMV.
3/ According to the Polish Press Agency (PAP) and Volodymyr Zelenskyy Ukraine ordered 100 Rosomaks in April 2023 for immediate delivery and 100 more for later. Rosomak by the way means Wolverine in English, which seems to be a very fitting name for those machines.
4/ I hope that these strong and impressive metal beasts weighing 22 tons will be of great help for Ukraine in its just war against the terrorist state of ruzzia.

1/ I first heard the name of Elie Wiesel (1928–2016), a writer and Holocaust survivor in a small Jewish museum in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Quotes from his works which were shown there impressed me deeply and lastingly. Elie Wiesel (1928–2016)
2/ Past summer I had the chance to visit his hometown Sighet in Romania. It borders Ukraine, and when I arrived at the train station I could hear the shrieky sirens of an air alarm.
3/ Unfortunately, the house where Elie Wiesel was born and which has been converted into a museum, was closed for no apparent reason when I tried to visit it. Still, I could capture his sculpture in a photo.
