That soft lead ball would mushroom out to nearly 2" in diameter, and if it didn't outright kill you, the lead-poisoning or massive amounts of collateral internal shrapnel would ensure a slow (but assured) painful death

I'm sure Little ol' Ethel will enjoy having a 3oz ball of death hurtling through her fine china at over 1400 ft/sec

and the massive increase in the demand for lead won't cause environmental or health concerns either, i'm sure.

@somervilleny @Coca44791276 @AZ_Brittney and since we're forcing people to have muskets, that'll also incentivize things like 4lb cannons (also legal if they're black-powder) with wonderful rounds like Grapeshot (think shotgun x20 and you're not far off).
