🧵 In 2018, my cousin & best friend Alex Schachter was killed by a gunman with an AR15 in Parkland. I am sick & tired of congressional inaction. On June 6th, I will sit-in at the US Capitol to demand a vote to #BanAssaultWeapons. I invite others to join me. 
If we all come together, we can put enough pressure Congress to vote on an assault weapons ban. Currently, they would rather play political games and accept blood money than save our lives. Aren’t you tired of waking up to the news of another massacre? Have you had enough yet?
If you have ever turned on the news and wondered how the hell these mass shootings are still happening in this country, this is your opportunity to do something about it. If you are still sitting on the sidelines, you are part of the problem. Join me starting June 6th.
