There is a saying that goes, “The only cure for grief is grieve” and people grieve in different ways as we would find out about the current President of the Nigerian Appeal Court in 2012.
It was a bad road that has claimed lives and no government has been able to fix it. Her son got hit by a motorist who fled after the incident.
He broke his two legs and was bleeding and no one came to help him. He groaned in pain and gave up the ghost in the pool of his own… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Knowing fully well that the don could have survived if only he was rushed to the hospital further broke her heart.
In her words, she said, "I gave up sleep, hoping that my son will walk through the door and give me a big hug.
She set up an NGO in her sons name, to educate motorists about safety and opened a driving school for potential commercial drivers where they can receive training FREE OF CHARGE!!!
She went to motor parks to speak and educate commercial drivers on safe driving.
She also attended weeks of training at the Road Traffic Commission and qualified as a traffic warden.

She didn’t stop there as she also pushed for a life imprisonment for hit and run drivers when caught and the families of those killed to get financial compensation.
She choose to grieve her grief by making sure other mothers don’t go through the hurt of losing their child to hit… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
This goes to show the type of heart, the President of Nigerian Appeal Court has, she’s first a MOTHER and she showed it in her moment of grief.
We hope she will show that level of COMPASSION in making sure the RIGHT thing is done in the case of Nigeria.

She dropped out of High School and at age 19, she got pregnant gave birth to her first son, David Jr.
She had to get a job to support her son, and by 2009, she was expecting her FOURTH child and it was at this point, she suffered so many losses all at once.
Austin’s family thought it was because of an incident that happened when Austin was 11 and was hit on the right eye whilst playing baseball and didn’t think much about it.

They had to sell things on the street.
They had to share one sneakers to play basketball.
They had to go hungry because of no food.
They couldn’t get a Greece visa so they went through Turkey where their passports were illegally confiscated and they had to get to Greece by bus across the border.
