Three of the four school districts targeted by the heavily-edited and contextless videos are represented by Congressman George Santos.

He tweeted them, referencing a “coordinated effort” and urging followers to #ProtectOurChildren.

School board meetings in the districts targeted by Project Veritas have gone wild.

One parent demanded to know: “Are children in the middle school and high school asked what their pronouns are? He? She? They? It? Unicorn?”

As a result of the anti-DEI videos, at least one administrator has been placed on leave, and others are subjects of ongoing investigations.

Based on my reporting, I can say schools are woefully unprepared for when bad faith, right wing attacks come for them—and it's going to keep happening.

Instead of hiding, districts would benefit from working together to keep teachers/students safe.
