@LawCrimeNetwork Well, not actually in the back but over where they normally do a sidebar. The bailiff called them over there. They are just standing around, assuming waiting for the judge.
@LawCrimeNetwork We're hearing more about the "James and Elayna" story that #ChadDaybell wrote over a series of communications with #LoriVallow. "James and Elayna" story mirror Chad & Lori's. When/where they met. Every time they saw each other after, intimate interactions, etc..
@LawCrimeNetwork Chad writes about James & Elayna: "He kissed her deeply...they entwined their bodies....before beginning another round of pleasurable bonding."
@LawCrimeNetwork Lori to Chad: "That is pretty incredible. 🔥🔥🔥🔥The fire is definitely burning..... I miss you way too much. ❤️❤️❤️You have to stop or I might explode. "
@LawCrimeNetwork Chad to Lori: "I love you Elayna. What a wonderful chemistry we share. 🔥🔥🔥"
Lori to Chad: "....that's so hot...."
Chad to Lori: "...please save that segment. I want to read it with you naked...." #LoriVallowTrial @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork I really don't understand all the laughing and chatting between #LoriVallow and her attorneys.
@LawCrimeNetwork Next witness and I believe the last witness for the state is investigator Nicholas Edwards. He's the lead investigator with the Idaho Attorney General's office.
@LawCrimeNetwork Edwards testifies Lori and Charles had initiated divorce proceedings in Feb. 2019. Chad and Tammy never initiated divorce proceedings.
@LawCrimeNetwork Messages shown to jury -
Oct 3, 2019 - Chad to Lori: Good night, angel Lily. So excited to go on our date. 🔥
Oct. 4, 2019 - Dreaming of caressing you in your bed....I adore you...
@LawCrimeNetwork I've never used the fire emoji in a text. Apparently, Chad and Lori used it one zillion times.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@LawCrimeNetwork Oct. 9-10 there were 90 calls/texts messages between Chad, Lori, Alex, and Zulema.
Edwards outlines the number of texts between Chad and Alex before and after the attempted shooting of Tammy Daybell. #LoriVallowTrial @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork Edwards testifies that Tammy would normally park down the long driveway at the back of the house but the night of the attempted shooting she parked in the front driveway. #LoriVallowTrial @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork Edwards testifies about the likeness between AR-style gun with a scope and a paintball gun with a hopper and how someone inexperienced with guns could mistake the two. Also, there were kids w/paintball guns in Daybell neighborhood. #LoriVallowTrial @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork Do you think the state has done enough to tie #LoriVallow to conspiracy to Tammy's death? I think the jury could struggle with that count.
@LawCrimeNetwork Here is where the state is trying to tie Lori to Tammy's death - there are text messages the night of the attempted shooting between Lori and Alex and Lori and Chad but we don't know what those texts are...
@LawCrimeNetwork The "casting" the night of the attempted shooting was being done on Tammy Daybell. In other words, about 45 mins before the attempted shooting of Tammy, Loir & Zulema are attempting to cast out the evil spirit in Tammy. #LoriVallowTrial @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork Oct 18-19, 2019 - there are several text messages the night of the 18th (Tammy died in the early morning hours of the 19th) Several texts between Alex & Lori, Chad & Lori and Alex & Chad. (again, they don't have the actual messages). #LoriVallowTrial @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork There were a lot of times on the timeline they just showed that I couldn't possibly catch them all. Will go back later with the audio and document.
@LawCrimeNetwork Also, my eyes are apparently too old to see the details in the timeline on the screen from across the courtroom.
@LawCrimeNetwork 10/20/19 The day after Tammy's death:
Lori: I'm missing you more...need you to hold me tight....
Chad: Their apartment is haunted and we can't clear the place. I seriously want you to look for a condo for us while you are there (Hawaii)
@LawCrimeNetwork Cont: Lori: I don't really care where we are as long as you are holding me forever.
Lori: This is torture. Maybe you should clear my mind....I feel lovesick, ...
Chad: I know exactly how you feel. I'm feeling sad but it isn't for the reason everyone thinks.
@LawCrimeNetwork Investigator Edwards chokes up on the stand and he describes unearthing JJ's body saying he was flooded with emotions thinking of his own son. Now cross-exam.
@LawCrimeNetwork Gigi @PrettyLiesAlibi and I are on opposites sides of the courtroom reporting for @LawCrimeNetwork . She is closer to the evidence monitor and jury. I'm closer to the defense table with a good shot of #LoriVallow. Follow both of us - we're here until verdict!
@LawCrimeNetwork@PrettyLiesAlibi Prosecution just keeping us hanging....we expect them to rest but after a sidebar the judge came back and said there are matters to handle outside the jury.
@LawCrimeNetwork@PrettyLiesAlibi The state says there's a clerical error in the indictment that they need to fix. Judge and defense know nothing about this. Judge takes a break while they work it out. #LoriVallowTrial .
@LawCrimeNetwork@PrettyLiesAlibi State motions to amend the indictment against #LoriVallowDaybell due to some clerical errors. Should be theft by deception not theft by possession. And in count 5 on overt act 10 instead of saying Alex went to the gun range within monthS, it should be month.
@LawCrimeNetwork@PrettyLiesAlibi Now sidebar to determine if they'll let jurors go home while defense needs to argue for judgment of acquittal (standard). That never takes long so I'm not sure why they are considering sending jury home
@LawCrimeNetwork@PrettyLiesAlibi In 99% of trials the defense motions for the judge to dismiss all or some of the charges once the state rests. It's usually just a formality. Rarely happens.
@LawCrimeNetwork Archibald just said in front of the jury "We don't believe the state has proven their case therefore the defense rests. " I watched the jury closely during this. I saw at least 2 jurors with a slight smirk.
@PrettyLiesAlibi@LawCrimeNetwork Lori's attorneys are now here and Rob Wood for the prosecution. The defense investigator is chatting with Lori. I can't hear exactly what's being said but she's very chatty, happy.
Judge: You claimed to be somewhere else when the crime was committed, then when witness after witness placed you there minutes prior, you had to switch courses and admit to being there.
