A web3 gaming giant is being built in front of our eyes.
Everything you need to know about @OhBabyGames and how you can your hands on their NFTs π§΅π
(1/12)
Let's start with some basics:
β’ founder: @passytee
β’ they announced a $6 Million Seed Round in January
β’ building multiple games
β’ 70+ employees
(2/12)
They will be launchin at least 4 games:
β’ What The Kart!
β’ Shogun Curse
β’ What The Party!
β’ Baby Wassies
(3/12)
Web3 games are facing one major problem:
There is only a small overlap between the web3 audience and gamers. So most projects are distributing gaming assets (NFTs) to people who will never touch the game.
Let's take a look whats differentiating OBB here β¬οΈ
(4/12)
1β£ onboarding web3
They are launching game genres that are known to attract the masses which is perfect for an audience without many hardcore gamers. And they also include reputable CT characters, this should also help the onboarding a bit.
(5/12)
2β£ onboarding gamers
Most gamers will never touch web3 games if they need a wallet. OBB has the option to log in with an Email and you don't need to care about self-custody. But you can also use a wallet instead of an Email if you want to.
(6/12)
Okay, there are companies like @Stardust who provide those solutions to other games and it will be the standard anyways.
But people don't want to create new player accounts for every single game.
That's why game launchers like Steam and Epic Games are so popular.
(7/12)
And OBB is creating their own game launcher. Covering that would be too much for this thread, but it has huge potential for:
β’ a better user experience
β’ interoperability (which you will have between their games)
β’ onboarding new games to web3
β’ mass adoption
(8/12)
But let's talk about the most important success factor, the games need to be fun.
I was able to already play the Kart game and can say it is really good.
There is a lot of real gameplay out there, just take a look and judge for yourself.
(9/12)
But no worries, you will actually be able to play the game for yourself before they drop the first NFTs.
It is not exactly known how the first drop will look like, but I can tell you it will be a special one π
So what can you do to participate in that?
(10/12)
You can go to their website and register for Alpha Testing (starting soon).
They want to distribute the NFTs to real gamers and the early core community, so this will be your best chance.
Just keep an eye on their socials for more updates on that.

Amazon is launching its NFT marketplace in 12 days and it is huge for web3.
Everything you need to know and why you should care about itπ§΅π
(1/14)
The marketplace was originally scheduled to launch in 2022. New launch date after several delays is set to May 15.
I have gathered information from 15 differrent articles.
There is not a lot of official information out, so nothing is 100% confirmed yet.
(2/14)
1β£ user experience
Amazon wants to simplify NFT purchases, you will be able to pay with fiat using your credit card. You won't need any technical know-how about the blockchain or self-custody wallets, just an Amazon account.
I recently finished my 1 β 100 eth challenge. One of the most important things for me was having a long term plan.
I will reveal my own strategy and explain why should also have one π§΅π
(1/10)
I started trading NFTs as a hobby in September 2021.
I believe in the success of Ethereum, so my goal was pretty easy: Flip NFTs to accumulate some eth and don't sell any eth for at least 5 years.
Should you copy this approach?
(2/10)
Absolutely not! You need to figure out your own plan for your own circumstances.
It only makes sense if you also have very high conviction in Ethereum and you only play with money you can afford to lose or which you don't need in the next few years.
You probably have seen some tweets like this during the last week. Small breather, NFTs are not going to zero.
But there are many misconceptions, so let's talk about how this market will evolve in some years. This is just an educated guess, we can't predict the future.
(2/14)
Remember when CloneX, Moonbirds and Doodles had a $80k+ floor and people still had FOMO?
They are now all under $5k and people are screaming they go to zero.
Why is this important? We have to zoom out a bit here to understand where we are going.
Here is everything you need to know in under 1 minute π
β’ many whales kept selling NFTs, most floors down 10%
β’ @MadLadsNFT had a very successful mint on Solana
β’ @Pixelmon released their strategy whitepaper, very interesting read for people interested in web3 gaming
β’ @Memeland released a cool trailer
β’ @miladymaker going crazy, floor up 50% while most collections are bleeding
β’ @realDonaldTrump launched series 2 of his NFTs
β’ @yugalabs won its legal case against Ryder Ripps
β’ we saw massive runs in multiple shitcoins
