It’s staggering just how minuscule the percentage of funds raised by a charity are required to be donated by law.
Adrian Portelli’s charity* LMCT+ has +300k members paying a minimum of $19.99/month, with an estimated extra +800k purchasing one-off entries at a min. $49.95ea.
LMCT+ has one employee, founder Adrian Portelli, with everything else performed by very small external agencies.
He pocketed more from his initial purchase and subsequent sale of one Block home than Nine has from the last FIVE SEASONS’ revenue.
No risk, as it’s a “CHARITY*”.
Charities in Australia tend to qualify for Reduced Fee Schedule’s for both Financial and Marketing expenses.
In Advertising, that will include everything including, but not limited to, Account Management, Concept, Talent and Production, as well as the biggest expense, MEDIA!!
So, talking ballpark numbers of:
300k x $19.95/mth = $71,820,000/pa
+
800k x $49.95 =$39,960,000
=
$111,780,000/pa Estimated
Legally obliged to Donate a Minimum=
$5,589,000/pa
That is a bloody HUGE donation to a Charity*!! Great work, thank you Adrian for your Philanthropy!!
* Even if it is to his own charity.
That’s irrelevant because a charitable charity does things like charity stuff that only a charity can do… like a Charity Ball!!
They can be SO tough to organise though, so it’s important to have a vast smorgasbord of very important staff.
