OH! Ochako is a delusional bitch in this, if you don’t wanna see her being full of herself and a collisional bitch, don’t read. K? Cool!

Shall we begin? I believe we shall:
Ochako feels gross — she is sticky and sweaty from moving box after box in the hot summer heat. About half a year ago, the Alpha she saw her future with broke-up with her, leaving her with a broken heart and an apartment she couldn’t afford.
Thankfully her fellow Omega friend Shoto and his mate Inasa offered her a place to stay. His father had gotten them a house far too big for their small family of two with another one on the way so they had a spare room she could use
until she had her bearings again…rich people problems. Unfortunately her move lined up with their OBGYN appointment so she is on her own.

“Oh! Here, let me get that!”

Well…she /was/ on her own. Fluffy green curls are all she can see as the man takes the box that’s obstructing
her view. Then she’s met with a bright show stopping smile and her heart skips a beat in a way that it never had with Tenya. Suddenly she’s very happy her roommates had an appointment.

She quickly runs her fingers through her hair, trying to fluff it up (she desperately
needs a haircut) and tries to discreetly peel off her scent patches, letting her tart raspberry scent out just enough.

A blush dusts her cheeks each time the Alpha offers to take a box that she pretends is far too heavy for her. Her scent even sweetens when
she watches the way his arms flex as he lifts the various boxes and the way sweat droplets run down his neck, down the v-neck line of his shirt and —

“Are you okay?” His question derails her thoughts and she quickly notices that all the boxes have been placed into the house.
He wouldn’t take them into her room, opting to leave them in the hallway despite her endless protests as he explains that it’s not appropriate for an Alpha to invade an Omega’s nesting area.

/Gods he is perfect!/ She squeals to herself before yelling, “lemonade!”
The greenette stops his trek back to his own yard, turning to look at her with a puzzled expression.

“Would you like some…ya know as a thank you!”

That beautiful smile once again touches his lips. “Ah, I appreciate it but I really should be getting home. Bye now.”

-
-
“Tsu!” She whines, “he is perfect!”

Tsu, her coworker and one of her closest friends, sighs. “That’s what you said about Tenya.”

Ochako huffs, rolling her eyes, what would a Beta know about an Alpha anyways? “This Alpha is different! He
didn’t complain having to help and he said it’d be rude to go in my room. Tenya was /never/ like that.”

“Maybe he didn’t go into your room because he has a mate. It would be super disrespectful to be near another Omega’s nest if he has a mate.”
“He doesn’t—“ The brunette stops. Now that she thought about it, she isn’t sure if he has a mate or not. She didn’t see a mating mark on his neck, but she also wasn’t looking for one either. “Why can’t you just be happy for me?”
“I am, I just think you’re still a bit…I just don’t want you to get hurt again is all.”

She ends the call shortly after she replies with an aggravated huff. She knows this Alpha won’t hurt her, she could tell by the faint
mint and green scent mixed with cinnamon and clove that came underneath his scent blockers. It mixed perfectly with her sweet raspberry pheromones. And her mother always told her that true mates have pheromones that compliment each other.
—sorry to break this up but I read that green tea/mint (Izuku) pairs well with cinnamon (Kats) but not raspberry (Ocha) — I really like this detail so I wanted to share anywave…
Ochako wants to go ask Shoto about the hunky Alpha next door, but she knows he’ll be worse than Tsu. He’ll go on and on about how important it is for an Omega to work through a break-up especially one from a long-term relationship because if not, it increases the chance of a
drop.

She didn’t care about grieving Tenya. She has no lingering feelings for the Alpha that practically abandoned her. It’s been long enough and now she wants to move on to…greener pastures so to speak.

“You stink.”

“Huh!?!” Izuku sniffs his shirt, sure he had broken a small sweat helping their new neighbor, but it wasn’t horrible…was it?

“Like berries!” Ren exclaims.

“Yeah, if berries smelt desperate.” Kimiko says.

Before Izuku can reprimand their daughter, Katsuki breaks
into a loud fit of laughter. Bending forward slightly as he continues to laugh despite the Alpha’s protests for him to act like an adult.

“No no, but she’s right.” He taps his chin, “you were being ‘Mr. Perfect Alpha’ again weren’t you?”

“I was n—“ He had. “It’s not my fault my
mama raised me right! I’m just being nice.”

“I know you were, but that desperate Omega didn’t.” He crinkles up his nose, “seriously, go take a shower, you stink.”

The whole time Izuku is in the shower he plays back the entire altercation. From the moment he offered her help
to the second he stepped foot back into his own home. He couldn’t figure out when he had alluded to anything other than him being neighborly. Anyone would have helped, right? It’s not like he had done it because she was an Omega, he saw someone in need and moved to help.
Fingers gently touch his mating mark…well the one on his neck and he knows it wasn’t hidden like the one Katsuki insisted on leaving on his upper inner thigh. Ever since they bonded, neither of them hide them. Why would they? It was a symbol of their love.
Maybe it had been because he didn’t have on his wedding band. He had been tending to the flower beds and didn't want to get it dirty. But still all he did was move a few boxes, hell he rejected her (multiple) invites into her room — wasn’t it obvious then?

“You were right, ya know?”

“Hmm?” Izuku looks over at his mate, his beautiful and perfect mate. “I was what now?”

Katsuki rolls his eyes, “it’s not your fault for that Omega misinterpreting your actions.
I love that you always try to help out any and everybody — I’m not like that at all.”

“Yeah, but you care about the important people in your life and I love that about you.”

Izuku assumes that the Omega has fallen asleep by the way he
had stilled against the greenette’s chest, breathing even. A small smile spreads across his lips, his fingers gently running through the blonde’s spiky hair.

It’s low, almost too low, but after all the years they’ve been together, Izuku can practically hear Kacchan’s thoughts.
“…don’t be as nice as you are to me to any extras.” There’s a hint of desperation in his tone, even after years those thoughts of not being Omega-like enough still linger, but that’s okay. Izuku promised to reassure his Omega he was the only one for him and he had no intention
of breaking that promise anytime soon.

****
Ochako sighs, tapping her freshly manicured nails on her phone screen as she scrolls through some social media app. She didn’t see the Alpha at all the weekend following her move and both cars had been there in the driveway.
Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, she made sure to lounge around the pool that is a perfect shot from the master bedroom.

And nothing.

It is as if she didn’t make any kind of impression on the greenette which is impossible — she’s a very desirable Omega.
Maybe she can see if she still has something of Tenya’s and play it off that the mystery Alpha left it on Friday while helping her.

“Oof—sorry.”

Her phone falls from her hand, someone bumping into her from behind. She’s about to scold whoever hit her but
stops when familiar green curls lean down in front of her.

“You dropped this.” Izuku hands Ochako back her phone, her fingers lingering as he pulls his hand away, “oh! You’re our new neighbor!”

She feels her cheeks start to burn as she nods, “I’m Uraraka Ochako.”
“Midoriya Izuku, it’s nice to officially meet you.” He smiles and she feels her heart quicken. “Did you get settled in alright?”

“Y-y-yeah. I did. Your help made it a lot easier.”

“I’m glad.” Izuku tilts his head to the side as he looks at her, she becomes flustered under the
attention, “did you cut your hair?”

She starts to twist the freshly cut ends between her fingers, trying to look sweet and innocent, “oh, yes, I did.”

“It looks really nice like that.” His attention briefly turns to his phone and a softer smile reaches his eyes. One she’s never
seen before and she instantly loves it.

“Why did you get on at a stop further from your house?” She panics slightly when he raises an eyebrow, “it’s just we seem to be going to the same area but got on at different stops.”
“It’s Ren's first day of school and we dropped her off, so I got on later than usual.”

/Ren? We?/

The way she scrunches up her nose must have come across as curiosity rather than the disgust she meant as a huge smile crosses Izuku’s face. He quickly pulls his phone out
of his pocket, pressing the side button to light up the screen and turns it towards her.

“These are my girls!” It’s a picture of three kids — all who look different but also like a mix of their parents to some extent. He points to each girl, proudly telling her their names and
ages.

/Is that who he had meant by we?/

Kimiko, the eldest at 14, has blonde spiky hair, fiery red eyes and a singular freckle under her right eye. There’s what looks like a permanent scowl on her face. Image
Mizuki, the middle at 12, looks the most like her sire. She has light green curls, pale green eyes with freckles sprinkled across her cheeks and bridge of her nose. Rather than a scowl like her eldest sister, she has a small shy smile. Image
Ren, the youngest at five, appears to be a mix of her two sisters. She has blonde curls and a pair of heterochromatic eyes: one emerald green and one ruby red. There’s just a few freckles haphazardly dotted on her cheeks like randomly placed stickers on a child’s bedroom wall. Image
Ochako can’t help but smile at how much Ren’s smile looks just like the one that Izuku gave her a few days ago.

The rest of the train ride is more pleasant than Ochako expected it to be. The two of them fall into easy conversation, like two old friends reuniting and it would’ve
been better if it had lasted longer than it did.

***
Camie cocks an eyebrow as she watches Ochako practically float into the office. It’s very different from her usual “bleh another day at work” walk. The fawn-haired Omega wants to know, but doesn’t wanna ask her directly.
It’s not that she dislikes the other Omega, she doesn’t care enough to. She just prefers to keep coworkers at work and friends at home, plus there’s just something about the brunette that…annoys her.

She walks into the small kitchenette area, making a cup of tea as she
eavesdrops, not that she really had too, Ochako talks on loud.

“He’s the /sweetest/! We took the same train and we chatted the WHOLE time. Oh! Oh and he noticed I got a haircut! Something /you/ didn’t even realize! Then he asked what I do for work and seemed interested as I
told him about it!”

Camie scoffs, not really meaning to.

“Have something to add?” Ochako purses her lips, one hand in her hip as she tries (and fails) to look intimidating.

“Yeah, I do.”
She walks up to the brunette, “if that’s all it takes for you to twirl your hair at some Alpha then the bar is on the ground. Have some self-respect — if not for yourself then for other Omegas who don’t want a single-celled knothead.”
Without another word, Camie flicks her hair off her shoulder before gliding back to her desk. She shakes her head as she quickly checks her emails before unlocking her phone, sending a message to one of her best friends.

Katsuki waddles over to the couch where he’s forgotten his phone once again. The ping repeats
itself as he picks it up, looking at who it’s from.

Utsushimi Camie: ☕️??

Bakugo Katsuki: this early in the morning?

Utsushimi Camie: it’s lukewarm at best…with your condition and all ☺️
Katsuki rolls his eyes, she’s always such a smart ass but he likes that about her. Not that he’d ever bother to tell her that. He loves being able to work from home, but he does miss sharing looks with Camie throughout their shifts.

Bakugo Katsuki: well?
Utsushimi Camie: that bubbly omega came in acting like she had met some perfect alpha, one that was a gift from the gods to us mere mortals

Utsushimi Camie:…he just listened to her ramble about her boring ass job 😒
Bakugo Katsuki: BAHAHAHAHA

Bakugo Katsuki: FUCK!

Bakugo Katsuki: I laughed so hard I pissed myself

Utsushimi Camie: ew
Utsushimi Camie: and that’s why I’m perfectly fine being Auntie Camie rather than mama

Bakugo Katsuki: 🖕

He tosses his phone on the couch cushion before padding his way to their primary bedroom. The blonde walks toward Izuku’s dresser
instead of his own, moving articles of clothing around until he finds the pair of light gray sweats he wants. As he stands in the bathroom, he rubs his hand over his swollen stomach, soft smile on his lips.
“I was really hoping you’d take after your sire.” Katsuki shakes his head when he feels two kicks to his still very full bladder, looks like their fourth pup would be just like him as well.

chapter two: headcanons aren’t reality babes
Katsuki slowly sits up, kicking his legs off the side of the bed, letting out a yawn. He scrunches up his shoulders as he stretches his arms outward. Looking over his shoulder, he sees Izuku peacefully sleeping and he can’t help but smile.
Carefully, he pushes himself up, placing a protective hand on his stomach before making his way to the bathroom. There he starts his morning routine: getting himself ready, waddling into the kitchen to get breakfast started while also preparing the girls’ lunches.
His computer pings, causing him to pause between making the cat-shaped onigiri Ren said a friend at school had and adding a small thing of hot sauce into Kimiko’s bento. It’s an email from his mother’s work account, asking him to call her.

-
-
Izuku runs his fingers through his wet curls, a smile on his face as he sees a brand new tube of his favorite toothpaste replacing the empty one in the medicine cabinet.

His Omega always swears if it’s not on his list, he won’t pick it up yet all the things the greenette
forgets to write, magically show up on their home. Which god had he pleased so much in a past life that made him blessed with Katsuki in this one?

He walks past his daughters’ rooms, each one in a different state of awakeness. Kimiko, much like her dam, is up early due to going
to bed early so she’s already dressed and getting her school bag together. Mizuki has her blanket tightly against her head — grumbling at her sister for trying to get her up. Ren bumps slightly into Izukus’ leg as she rubs the sleep from her eye, clutching a stuffie while
trotting towards the kitchen.

“Good morning, Kacchan.” Izuku presses the daily morning kiss to Katsuki’s temple, getting a ‘bleck’ sound from Ren.

The blonde mumbles something, the tips of his ears burning pink, “Hag called.”
Izuku helps Ren fix her plate as Katsuki tells him that despite having just been over to his parents’ house three days ago, she swears she hasn’t seen them in forever. Because of that, they are invited to dinner tomorrow at six.
The Alpha snickers as his mate grumbles under his breath about her being overly dramatic as if he himself hadn’t pouted to Izuku just the other day that Ren only gave him four kisses instead of five at bedtime.
**
“Kimiko, good luck on your English test, just remember to take your time — you know it. Mizuki,” he hands her a plastic container, “cookies for your club meeting and bring back my container this time. And Ren, if that little punk gives you trouble on the playground again…”
Izuku clears his throat, getting an eye roll from his husband, “tell the teacher.”

When the Alpha turns around, Katsuki whispers to their youngest, “tell the teacher…after you kick him in the shins.”

“I have a meeting today and will probably work through lunch,
but I’ll try to call before my lunch hour’s over.” Izuku kisses the Omega goodbye, making his way out the door with their daughters.

Letting out a deep breath, the blonde gets to cleaning up the little mess left from breakfast. Izuku usually gets the dishes in the dishwasher
and all Kats has to do is wipe off the counters. He spots the list he left for his mate, casually left behind, shaking his head as he walks into his office to check on the upcoming Summer and Autumn projects.

Ochako couldn’t help herself from falling for the green-haired Alpha, but who could really blame her? He is /the/ perfect Alpha and each short train ride to work, she realizes just how perfect they would be together.

They /just/ look right together,
she can see it in the way other Omegas turn away when she makes sure to scoot close enough to him to appear they’re a couple. They would be a power couple without a doubt, though maybe she should ask him what he does…over the last several days
she’s done most of the talking. But he /asks/ her, surely that means he’s seeing if they will be the ideal pair she knows they’ll be.

Wait! She starts to panic, wondering what if he had some low-ranking job…no, no, he’s too good of an Alpha to have some mediocre job.
Though on the off chance that he does, she could always just get him a job at the company she works for: Bombtastic ☆. Technically, she doesn't have any pull, being a relatively new employee but she’s sure she could figure something out for /her/ Alpha.
“Kaachan? Is everything okay?” The Alpha’s voice is filled with worry which has Ochako on edge. Had something happened to one of his girls? That would completely destroy him!

Despite her alleged concern, she spends the duration of his call making sure her make-up looks nice and
reapplies her lip gloss, essentially tuning out the distressed call. She looks over just as he slides his phone back into his pocket before rubbing her hand on his back, making sure to rub the scent gland on her wrist onto the back of his dress shirt.
“Is everything okay with the girls?” She pouts out her overly glossed lips.

He seems confused before snapping out of it, “oh yes! That was my mate calling. He needs me to pick up something on the way home.”

“Oh.” She gives him a tight smile, feeling irritated at the soft
expression on his face as he mentions this ‘mate’, “glad it’s nothing serious.”

The brunette keeps to herself for the rest of the ride, pretending to be engulfed in her phone whenever the Alpha tries to see if she is okay. After a few attempts, Izuku seems to give up, which just
irritates her even more.

As an Alpha he /should/ try to console his Omega rather than just giving up. If he didn’t want to upset her then he shouldn’t have answered a call from another Omega, it was very rude…s he honestly couldn’t believe him!
And obviously it wasn’t lost on her that he /could/ have a mate…he had three children after all, but having it confirmed was different.

What was wrong with her? She is the ideal Omega with her perfect curves, soft looks, and motherly nature. Like she /just/ asked if his girls
were okay and they aren’t even hers — motherly. She knows she’ll be a perfect mate, but most importantly that she’ll make a perfect mate for Izuku.

For one, she already adores his sweet girls, listening to what little Haru and Mika get into truly makes her smile. Not to mention
that every Omega wants an Alpha that makes a great sire and Izuku is the textbook definition of that. Then there’s the fact that she makes him laugh, her ex told her that she wasn’t funny at all, but Izuku laughs at her jokes.
The biggest reason is that she’s a /female/ Omega. She just naturally has more motherly instincts, more homemaking skills than a /male/ Omega. It’s just basic biology, duh.

Camie watches as the brunette sulks into the office, a drastic 180 to the way she was just a few
days ago. Her overly tart berry scent is stale rather than sweet and the fawn-haired Omega crinkles her nose, does she not know of scent blockers? Ochako flops down at her desk, sniffling as Camie assumes she’s logging into her work computer if the key clicking sounds are
anything to go off of.

She shrugs it off, not that she likes seeing a fellow Omega so upset, but she had warned her. If she wants a stand-up Alpha, she can’t just throw herself at ones that show her the smallest amount of attention. It’s also important to be careful
with just which Alphas she takes interest in. Camie shutters at the memory of the Omega that once tried to get Katsuki’s mate back in college. But Camie doubts that’s the Alpha that Ochako is so smitten with.

“Uraraka-san, have you read the brief that was emailed?” Camie looks
over at the brunette, her business face on.

“Oh uhm,” she fiddles with the few pieces of paper on her desk, clicking a few keys on her keyboard before looking back up at Camie. “I plan on doing it tonight.”

“Please do so before lunch.”
Her professional smile may seem sweet, but to those who know it, know that it’s dangerous. It means that one should tread very lightly for the rest of the week. “The meeting is at 2, unless you no longer wish to work on the project?”

“I’ll review it now.”
The brunette gives her a tight-lipped smile before watching Camie walk over to Tsu’s desk.

Ochako holds back the massive eye roll she wants to give Camie, so what if /technically/ the other Omega is her higher-up? That bitch has looked down on her since she started, acting like
she’s the best Omega out there! She’ll show her when she shows up with Izuku, the perfect Alpha on her arm — it won’t matter then if Camie knows the CEO or not.

***
Camie looks around the room, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves. She’s worked on various projects, some at
her old job right out of college and a few when Bombtastic ☆ first started, but this is different.

This is the first project where she’s been the lead, not second in command or part of the team, but the head of it all. It means a lot she was picked and will do everything to
make sure it’s successful.

Ochako yawns, staring at Izuku’s InstantGram profile — well what she can see of it. He’s private and yet to accept her request. The tiny user photo seems to be some comic book character…yeah she’d have to change that to one of them.
She’s in the process of looking up photograph poses to do for a family of four when a small packet is dropped in front of her. Oh yeah, the project meeting.

BOOM BABY 💥

Ochako raises an eyebrow, it certainly is an eye-catching name.
Though it just sounds a bit aggressive for something as soft as a baby. If it wasn't clear before by the name of the company, it was now that their mysterious CEO is some rough and tough Apha — nothing like her Izuku.

“Good afternoon! You’ve all been chosen to work on our
upcoming Summer collection: Boom Baby!” Camie smiles, “as you can see in the booklet you’ve received, this new line will focus on maternity clothes that are more targeted for male Omegas.”

The brunette tunes out the rest of Camie’s nonsense, she’s currently fuming.
Why did people care so much about /male/ Omegas!?! Male Omegas this and male Omegas that. It was making her head spin.

Why can’t they just wear what’s already out there? It’s all the same! She just knows Izuku’s worthless ‘mate’ would love this…all he can seem to do is get
knocked up.

She snorts, he probably keeps getting pregnant to trap Izuku. Izuku is amazing and is definitely the type to stay in a loveless relationship out of duty. Her Alpha didn’t have to worry about that too much more, she would be there for him and show him how the /right/
Omega for him would really act.

“Uraraka-San?”

“What, uhm…I mean, yes?” She snaps her head up to see everyone looking at her.

“I asked if you had any questions about your assignment? To see what each team needs to move forward.”

“No, no questions here!”

***
She drags herself into her current residence, refusing to look to see if the forest-green Alpha is waiting for her. He could sulk for a bit, after all he is the reason she’s so on edge today.

Without paying attention, she runs into a mammoth of an Alpha: Inasa.
He looks like he’s trying to figure out how to word what’s on his mind, further annoying her cause she wants to get out of the doorway.

“What Inasa?”

The Alpha clears his throat, “this is a very awkward conversation but you need to either wear scent patches
or spray yourself with a neutralizer when you get home.”

She stares at him, waiting for him to say he’s joking. He doesn’t. How dare he ask her to mute her scent in her own home!

“Sho is a bit sensitive to scents lately…particularly…the nature of yours.”
He rubs the back of his neck, face becoming a pink flustered mess. He’s usually a very confident man, but it’s almost taboo to tell an Omega their scent stinks especially as an Alpha.

Ochako holds back a giggle, the satisfaction she gets knowing Shoto is jealous of her erases
the bitterness she’s harbored over Izuku’s phone call. The male Omega always talked about how secure his relationship was but here his mate is, blushing about /her/ arousal scent. Could you blame her for getting hot and bothered thinking about the greenette next door?
She pokes out her lip, batting her eyelashes, “oh no, I’m so sorry! I’ll try to remember to wear patches, they just irritate my neck.”

“T-thank you.” Inasa rushes into the kitchen.

**
“Babe? You okay?”

“I talked to Uraraka about her scent.”
“So you told her that her scent is making me nauseous.” Shoto shakes his head, “I’ve never met an Omega with such an unpleasant scent. It’s just all around awful.”

“Uhm well kinda. She did seem to feel bad she was causing you issues.”

Shoto knits his eyebrows together, “maybe
this all means the pup hates her.”

-
-
-
“Inasa, can I ask you something?” Ochako practically skips into the Alpha’s office, tight tank-top and skimpy pajama shorts on, closing the door behind her.

The Alpha promptly stands up, heading straight to the door and opening it, “I
only shut the door for clients. What do you need, Uraraka?”

She huffs as she flops in the chair across his oak desk, “it’s kinda personal…it’s why I shut the door.”

Her pouts did nothing to Inasa, who sat back down behind his desk, closing a few case folders he’d been looking
through. “Door stays open.”

Smirking, she leans forward, pressing her arms together to push her assets out more, “what if I pay a retainer?”

“You can’t afford my services.”

“Fine!” She sits back, “why’d you pick a male omega?”
That certainly got the Alpha’s attention. Could one really say that he /picked/ Shoto? It was more like the moment he saw there was no one else, Sho was it for him. He was never just some option to choose from. “Pardon?”

“I just mean…a male Omega doesn’t,” she motioned up and
down her body, “have all of this.”

Had his secretary spiked his coffee? Surely he was under the influence of something to be hearing the nonsense that he was. He was Dumbo in the ‘Pink Elephant’ scene or something.
When he tunes back in, he hears her rambling but refuses to pay attention. He shoves his chair back as he stands up, anger radiating throughout his scent.

“How /dare/ you insult my Sho in our home. The same Sho who gave you a home when you couldn’t afford the one you demanded
from Iida. The reason you don’t have an Alpha isn’t because of your ‘male Omegas are taking all the Alphas’ bullshit — it’s because you have a horrible personality.”

Ochako opens her mouth and then closes it, she has no words. It’s a first for her.
“Now if I was you, I’d think of a really good apology to give Shoto when you see him in the morning because I will be sharing this delightful conversation when I go upstairs. See yourself out.”
The next morning, Ochako is putting off having to go through the kitchen, mostly because she doesn’t think she needs to apologize. She didn’t say anything wrong, Shoto doesn’t have a curvy body like
she does, not to mention she didn’t say what she had directly to him anyways. The brunette is considering just skipping on the homemade coffee and going to a coffee shop — funds are a bit too tight for that however.
She stares at the scent patches Yoarashi not so subtly left outside her room — didn’t Shoto realize how inconsiderate he was towards her. If it bothered him so much, why didn’t he go stay with his parents?
Why didn’t he just wear a scent blocking mask? Why should she be uncomfortable when it’s him who has an issue?

She’s looking at herself in the mirror, pulling her hair into a small ponytail. Hopefully Izuku notices the difference her boring updo is compared to her usual glossy
straight bob. After letting out a rather dramatic sigh, she grabs her purse to head downstairs, surely a simple ‘I’m sorry’ would suffice.

Halfway down the stairs she hears it; the soft baritone voice she’d know anywhere. Her Alpha is downstairs,
most likely wanting to apologize for yesterday's mishap. She lets out a squeal, lightly stomping her feet in excitement, she rushes down the stairs. Once she reaches the bottom, she collects herself and sashays into the living room.

-
-

“I’m so sorry to bother you this early.”
Izuku smiles sheepishly at the pair, “Ren decided to use my copy as a coloring page.”

“She just made it more interesting.” Shoto grins, rubbing his own bump.

“Of course, I believe she said it was a horse.” The greenette nods, “oh! These are for you.”
Shoto takes the bouquet, cheeks heating up. The Omega, despite being with a wonderful and kind Alpha like Inasa, still isn’t used to such gestures. He hadn’t had the best experiences before his current mate. “Thank you.”
“My dam says it’s only polite to bring an expecting Omega flowers, especially when you come and bother them in the morning.”

“My dam said to always bring something sweet, but nothing’s as sweet as my Omega” Inasa teases, gently pinching Shoto’s now puffed out cheeks.
“Shouldn’t you be getting him a file or something?” Shoto huffs, gaining a laugh from both Alphas.

The two excuse themselves, heading into Inasa’s study while Shoto takes the beautiful flowers into a vase, placing it on the console table in the hallway near the staircase.
He smiles at how lovely they are, almost positive Katsuki had helped — Izuku wasn’t known for having a great eye for flower arrangements.

His stomach churns a little and his head starts to throb when that sticky sweet scent overtakes the hallway. Even pressing his nose to the
bite mark on his wrist gland does little to overpower the other Omega’s smell.

When Inasa first told him about what she’d said last night, he didn’t want to believe him. Why would she say that when he was the /only/ one who offered her a place to stay…rent free
so she could save up for a nice place. But his mate wouldn’t lie to him, wouldn’t hurt him, which meant that she actually feels that way about him.

“Oh! Shoto,” she tries to keep her face as neutral as possible, not wanting the other to know that he got under her skin. “I
didn’t know you’d be here!”

“I live here.”

“Yeah, of course.” Ochako really wants to roll her eyes, “oh, where did these come from?”

The dual-colored Omega follows her eyes to the flowers, “Izuku brought them over.”
Shoto hears her mumble something under her breath about fixing a fight or apologizing for some fight, but why would he bring flowers to their house instead of his own house if it was over a fight?

He stares at her, waiting for her to say something or apologize and swears for
just a moment she flares her scent out even more. He wants to bare his fangs, it’s incredibly disrespectful to try to openly scent another Omega’s home, another Omega’s safe haven. If he didn’t know better, which maybe he didn’t truly know her, it was like she was trying to stake
her claim.

Shoto is about to say something, but the bustling sounds of the Alphas walking out of the office and down the same hallway the Omegas are currently at a standstill.
He knows he doesn’t pick up on everything, he can be a bit oblivious at times, but he sees the way her demeanor changes almost immediately.

“Thank you again, I’ll talk to Kacchan about a good time to have you two over for dinner.”
Izuku raises an eyebrow when he sees Inasa crinkle his nose at the two drastically different Omega scents filling the house — an overly sweetened pre-heat scent and a distressed irritated scent.

The dark-haired Alpha gently pushed by Izuku, quickly grabbing Sho and
pressing him into his neck; the distress slowly starts to fade, but it still lingers. “I /told/ you to wear patches! Why is that so hard for you?”

“They irritate—“

“It doesn’t matter! He’s an expecting Omega and having your pre-heat stink around him is disrespectful! Not to
mention you’re doing so around his mate!” A voice from behind her says as they enter the house — all the brunette sees is blonde hair passing her.

(tw: mentions of getting sick, not super graphic)
She opens her mouth to demand Izuku yell at whoever dared to speak to her that way but doesn’t get the chance. The room stills when Shoto turns towards her, face a sickly pale before throwing up his breakfast on her stockings and shoes.

Sorry it took so long to finish this update and for it kinda ending at an odd spot. I tried like four different things and hated them all — this one was the least hated.

Let me know what you think! I promise next update will be better 😅
chapter three: enjoy your trip down memory lane

updated tags: IidaYama
[start of flashback]

//It was three months after her break-up and rather than sit around in her huge apartment, she went shopping. She grabbed her silver rather than gold credit card, that one had been long maxed out and sure, rent was due with money she didn’t have, but
a few new outfits never hurt anyone. She’d just ask Tsu for another loan…if she could call it a loan, she hadn’t paid back the other three.

But going shopping wasn’t enough for her. She had considered, for a small teeny moment, calling Tsu but knew the Beta would suggest some
ridiculous self-care night. Ochako couldn’t do another face mask, ice cream, and a sappy movie night crying over yesterday’s Alpha. Today was a new day and that meant finally getting another Alpha.

So she straightened her hair, it had grown out from her signature bob and rested
just past her shoulders. She lightly dusted blush on her cheeks and added just enough mascara to make her lashes pop before applying a shiny pink gloss. The dress she’d bought earlier that afternoon fit tightly in just the right areas of her body.
The pink material stopped a little shorter than mid-thigh and had a split up the left thigh. Thin straps tied behind her neck and it had flounce sleeves that covered her long arms. The neckline was low and sculpted her cleavage while the midsection hugged her waist beautifully.
She looked amazing and any Alpha with a shred of instinct would see her for the desirable Omega she knew herself to be. Image
Her finishing touch was a soft body spray, it didn’t add to her sweet scent, but it did help to enhance her preheat pheromones. Most Omegas wouldn’t go out during their preheat or heat, even with suppressants and scent patches, it could still cause unwanted attention or worse.
It was also considered rude to some, but she didn’t care. Why should she tone down or hide her scent because other people were insecure?

***
She strutted into the nightclub, making her way straight to the bar, pretending not to notice all the looks her way. Sure a few were from
annoyed looking Omegas, but it wasn’t her fault her pheromones were more eye-catching than theirs. As she walked through the crowd, she made sure to “accidentally” rub her wrist on those she wanted to see more of.

Ochako was leaning against the bar, barely paying attention to
the blonde female Beta that had been buying her drinks and complimenting her sincerely, when she saw him. She’d know his navy-colored hair and broad shoulders anywhere along with his patchouli scent. Her eyebrows scrunched together, that might be /her/ Alpha, but he looked
entirely different.

Tenya was wearing dark blue slacks and a white dress shirt rolled up his forearms with a few buttons undone. Rather than the stiff structured-like style his hair was normally in, it appeared more soft, his undercut more
prevalent and it looked as if someone ran their fingers through it. That irked her. An expensive watch rested on his wrist and he looked…happy.

“You can go now,” she brushed off the Beta, not caring about the sad pout on her lips as she walked away from the bar.
Ochako let her scent out more, waiting for him to pick up on it. But he doesn’t. The Alpha didn’t twitch his nose or try to find her. No — his eyes remained glued to his phone. Then she watched his head snap up, a smirk tugged at his lips and so she followed his blown-out red
eyes. Her fist clenched so tightly her freshly manicured nails began to dig into her palm.

A bubbly looking blonde with a bright smile made their way towards Tenya. Light blonde hair was pulled into a low ponytail by some tacky scrunchie. His outfit consisted of a thin strapped
metallic purple glitter waist tied tank top with a dress shirt over it that was several sizes too big and a tight pair of black jeans. (So just switch the tops in the picture lol) ImageImage
How had that taken attention away from her? The outfit covered practically all of him, unless that stupid dress shirt was taken off. There were zero curves and he looked like a Beta, plus rather than a sweet scent like hers, he had to have some muted and dull scent since it
wasn’t flared out like hers.

“They really know how to make others feel lonely.” A pink-haired Omega said, a hint of teasing in her tone.

“Ugh, it just ain’t fair!” A raven-haired Beta joined in, “me and who when?”

“Utterly disgusting ho—“ A violet-haired Omega started, but
Ochako cut her off, “how he’s a male Omega, right?”

The trio looked at her, a mixture of shock and confusion on their faces which didn't phase her in the slightest. Ochako just looked at them as if she had made the most obvious comment.
“Uhm, no, the fuck?” The violet-haired Omega said, her face scrunched up in irritation, “it’s disgusting how sweet and perfect they look.”

“Exactly! Plus they bonded within a few weeks of knowing each other — talk about when ya know ya know.”
“What!?!” /Bonded?/ There was no way Tenya, /her/ Alpha would mate with someone so quickly! They’d been together for years and it hardly ever came up at all!

“I know!” The pink Omega looked over at the pair once more, letting out a dreamy sigh, “it’s almost like their fated or
something.”

She looked back, glaring at the pair. That Omega was grinding on Tenya like a bitch in heat, absolutely disgusting. She couldn’t believe that Tenya would allow himself to be around such a trashy Omega.
**
Ochako couldn’t believe Tenya picked a /male/ Omega over her. He was flat and plain looking, his scent basic and bland. He didn’t just pick a male Omega, he had the audacity to look /that/ happy with him after the two /just/ broke up! But she would fix that, she would go and
make sure Tenya knew she knew what he was doing.

She walked into Iida Studios, more like stormed into the lobby. She flicked her hair off his shoulder, marching up to the front desk. “I’m here to see Tenya.”

The receptionist popped his bubblegum, looking at Ochako like she was
nothing, “do you have an appointment?”

Ochako looked shocked, opening and closing her mouth a few times. “I don’t NEED one! I’m his girlfri—Omega!”

If the look on the blonde’s — Monoma if the nameplate was correct — face was anything to go off, he was simply trying to think of
the nicest thing to say. “Ma’am…I know Iida-san’s mate personally and frankly it isn’t you. I’m going to have to ask you to leave.”

“I’m not going anywhere until I see Tenya.” She stomped her foot on the sleek floor tile.

“I will call security.” Monoma yawned. He perked
up when someone else walked in, “good afternoon, Yuga! He’s up in his office!”

“Thank you.” Yuga placed a homemade bento on Monoma’s desk before walking further into the building, completely ignoring a fuming Ochako.

“Uhm, excuse me!”

The sparkling blonde turned around, big
indigo eyes looking at her slightly confused, “oh? Can I help you with anything?”

She scoffed, “yeah, actually you can. You can leave MY Alpha alone!”

Aoyama stood there. He didn’t know who this woman yelling at him was or what she was talking about at all.
He didn’t like the way her pheromones were quickly overtaking the area — they reminded him of the yucky cough syrup he was given as a child, Robitussin or something like that.

“Tenya is MINE! I don’t know what little male Omega whorish behaviors you did to /steal/ him but you
better walk away now! How /dare/ you just walk in here like anything more than some side bitch.”

He couldn’t hear anything, blood rushing in his ears preventing it. The blonde loved attention, thrived on it, it was why he pursued a modeling career. He adored the positive
attention, during the sweet comments and compliments he could drown out the ugly parts of himself, the tightly locked away insecurities he hid from everyone.

Tenya had been the first Alpha to not care about his profession — it would’ve been ironic since they had met when the
Alpha was the photographer he was shooting with. He never told the Omega that he needed to /just/ be a housewife or that he wasn’t Omega-like enough in appearance. Aoyama knew the words being spat at him were false, but they dug up those past incidents and he felt himself
wavering.

“That bond on your next means NOTHING! It will be just as easily removed and you will be gone from his life, got that?”

“I’m not—“ Before he could defend himself, his eyes teared up and a hand covered his stinging cheek.

The echo of the slap rang throughout the
lobby, the smirk on her lips told him that she felt justified in her actions. She stepped forward, hand reared back and he felt himself tense up, but another hit never landed.

Instead the familiar and all too comforting patchouli filled his senses and he easily relaxed against
the broad chest that was pressed against his back. He briefly closed his eyes to take it in before opening them to see a shocked brunette in front of him.

“Uraraka, why are you here?” The Alpha still had a grip on her arm to prevent her from slapping Aoyama once more.
“To see you, Alpha~” She flared her pheromones out again, but Tenya didn’t react one bit.

“We broke up, Uraraka —“

“It’s Chako! You always call me that.” She interjected, looking smugly at the blonde Omega like she had done something.
The Alpha let out an exhausted sigh, “we broke up months ago. I’ve moved on and you should too. This behavior of yours is erratic and uncalled for.”

“You can’t be serious! You’re leaving me for…that? For some bland /male/ Omega.”

The once comforting patchouli scent was now a
rotten and stomach churning smell, bringing tears to everyone around eyes. She’d never seen Tenya so upset before, his scent at most became a muted one when they argued, but nothing like this.

“Ten Ten, breathe.”

Ochako was about to mock the stupid nickname the btich had
called Tenya, but the insults dried on her tongue when she saw his reaction. The Alpha became a blushing mess, his scent dialing back almost completely to a stale but manageable scent. Nothing she’d ever called him garnered such a reaction, even when she’d call him ‘Alpha’ in
bed.

“You /will not/ come into my studio and insult /my/ mate, Uraraka. I didn’t leave you for anyone, I left you because,” he took a deep breath, “because you /only/ saw me as an Alpha.”

Hashing out his personal business in front of his receptionist and a handful of other
employees wasn’t something he wanted to do, but he was backed into a corner. He wouldn’t stand here and let her attack his relationship or his mate. She tried to open her mouth to rebutte him, but he held up a hand and continued.

“My subgender was all that mattered to you,
nothing else. I /always/ had to be strong and provide for you. I could never be just Tenya, couldn’t be vulnerable or upset about things — I poured everything I had into you, leaving nothing for myself. I felt more appreciated and loved by Yuga in /days/ than I did with you in
/years/.”

Ochako’s jaw was tense, nails digging into her palms. She wanted to be with an Alpha, so of course she expected him to act like one. What Omega wanted an Alpha that just whined about missing their late brother? Or one that wanted to be held rather than to hold? “So
because I /expected/ you to act like you /should/, you cheated and bonded with…that.”

“/His/ name is Aoyama Yuga and I never cheated on you. I will admit, we did bond faster than we should’ve but that’s on me. Yuga sees me as a whole person, that’s why it would never work
between us.”

Yuga squeezed his mate’s hand. He never cared that they bonded just a few weeks into knowing each other, but he knew Tenya did. It wasn’t the most romantic way to bond — a late night in Tenya’s office, going through the various shots from Yuga’s recent photo shoot.
The pair had been spending a lot of time together so it wasn’t unusual for them to be together like that, but they were both exhausted and one compliment from Tenya sweetened Yuga’s scent and triggered an unscheduled rut.

Four days later, both emerged from the mini apartment
Tenya had on the floor above his office, a bonded pair. The Alpha had been ashamed, telling Yuga he was free to report him, to tarnish his name in the press, to do whatever because nothing he could do would ever atone for his actions. He had gone on and on about how the
Omega deserved a proper courtship, consensual bonding, and he’d understand if the blonde wanted to break their bond.

But Yuga didn’t. Sure it wasn’t the cheesy romantic story you’d tell to your grandchildren, but he had years to think up of one — not that he would.
He told the Alpha he wanted them to be together unless he really wanted to break their bond and Tenya finally agreed once Yuga agreed the Alpha could spoil him forever to make up for the lack of the perfect courtship.

“Ma’am, it’s time to leave.”
Two insanely broad Alphas approached her, neither showing any emotion as they began guiding her out of the building. She pushed back, refusing to leave to the point they each picked her up by an arm and carried her out.
“YOU’RE JUST A WEAK ALPHA THAT GOT TRAPPED BY A MALE OMEGA!” She screamed from the sidewalk before security had closed the doors behind them as they came back into the building.

“My sincerest apologies.” Tenya said to those still in the lobby before ushering Yuga toward this
office.

The Omega leaned into Tenya’s side, the taller man wrapped an arm around the blonde’s waist, “too bad she doesn’t know I was trapped by you.”
“Yuuuuuga~” Tenya /whined/, yes whined, which got a small laugh from the Omega.

“I’m only teasing you, you make it so easy.”//

[end of flashback]
**
Ochako is pissed! She can’t believe that she’s been humiliated like that in front of Izuku and who the hell was the angry blonde that yelled at her? He just walked into her home as if he had any right to!

After changing, she tries her best to calmly walk down the stairs.
Her outfit isn’t nearly as polished as the one she wore before, having to quickly throw something else on, but hopefully Izuku didn’t notice. Or if he did, that he understood the need to change so quickly.

“H-hello?” She calls out, looking around, there’s no Izuku anywhere.
“Don’t you have work?” Inasa asks, a box of saltines in one of his massive hands and cup of tea in the other.

“I…I was uhm, looking for Izuku.” She lowers her gaze, looking almost flustered.

He raises an eyebrow, unsure of how they know each other — Katsuki was very particular
about who Izuku told they could call him by his given name. Not because he doesn’t trust his partner, but Izuku tends to be a bit…oblivious about how certain Omegas interpret his kindness. “He left to help his /mate/.”

A tight-lipped smile crosses her face, “oh. We usually ride
the train to work together.” Technically she didn’t lie. They do ride the train in the same direction, while standing next to each other, so in a way they /do/ ride the train together.

“Well he isn’t here.” Without another word, the Alpha brushes by her and walks halfway up the
stairs. He pauses, not bothering to look back but she knows he’s talking to her. “Either wear scent patches or find someone else to stay.”

“But I—“

“I DON’T CARE.” A growl rumbles in his chest, “you and your scent are putting my mate and pup at risk.
Surely you can see how that’s more important. Sho even had Natsuo get ones from the hospital that aren’t supposed to be as irritating to accommodate /you/.”

She bites the inside of her cheek, hearing him mutter: ‘psft, in his own damn home.’

-
-
“Uraraka-san, you’re late.” Camie says matter-of-factly.

“Sorry! Had a little fashion emergency, you understand.”

“I understand being able to read a clock.” Camie reigns in her temper, “please just call me next time. You missed an important meeting so please talk to someone on
the project team for notes.”

“O-of course. It won’t happen again.”

Camie walks back towards her desk before Ochako flops in her chair, letting out a breath. /What was that about? Why was she in such a…good mood? Maybe she does have someone?/
Ochako waves Tsu over, asking the Beta to fill her in on the need to know points from the meeting. She learns that the basic prototypes are finished and they are going to have a focus group come in right before lunch.

“There’s something I think you should kn—“
“Tsu, I have things to do.” She waves her hand in a dismissive motion, not bothering to notice how annoyed the Beta looks.

Ochako logs into her email, aimlessly clicking through them to get read of the blue dot showing they are unread. Honestly, if something was important it’d
be told to her in person, right? What was the point in someone in the office emailing her? Such a waste of time.

**

She’s in the bathroom, reapplying her lipstick when her phone vibrates. She’s unsure of who it could be, but immediately smiles when she sees the notification
that Izuku accepted her request on InstantGram. The brunette becomes giddy, rushing back towards her desk to scroll through his page but is grabbed by Hagakure.

“First you miss the morning meeting and now you’re about to forget this one? Get it together.” The Beta hisses at her.
It isn’t like Hagakure to act like that, but Ochako guesses it’s due to this being in charge of the marketing aspect of this project. She didn’t get why so many people cared so much about unnecessary clothes, there’s already maternity clothing out there.

The brunette pulled down
the hallway, Hagakure rambling a mile a minute about her part of this meeting. She and Tsu will be in the room with the focus group, asking questions and taking notes to bring up at the meeting the day after next. Before she can ask any further questions (ones she’d know if she
had shown up on time OR have listened to Tsu earlier) she is shoved in a room where Tsu is, placing paper and pens at each seat.

“I don’t get why we are doing all this.”

“It’s standard for projects to have focus groups.” Tsu finishes her task and starts to organize the
prototypes in the order she plans to present them.

There’s two different types of panties, ones that have more of a bikini cut and others that have more of a boxer brief type feel — both with the option for a full or half belly panel. A typical ‘ Muscle tees that have the flare
around the bottom to accommodate a growing bump for those who frequent a gym or prefer gym attire. There’s even a few pairs of suit pants that have the belly panels.

/All this for male Omegas? Shouldn’t they be wearing more feminine clothes anyways?/ She rolls her eyes at her
own thoughts before looking at an annoyed Tsu.

“If you can’t be bothered to be here, I’ll tell Camie I can do it alone.”

She bristles at the Beta’s cold words. Surely she still wasn’t upset about her brushing her off the other day for lunch? Maybe it was about the money she
still hadn’t paid back…but everyone knows that money loaned by friends is a gift.

“What can I do to help?” She puts on her best customer service voice and smile.

“Dial back your bitter scent while I call in the focus group.” Tsu shakes her head, walking over to the door
ushering those waiting in.

Ochako is a bit surprised to see female Omegas in the mix. Do these products don’t benefit them? She brightens her smile, about to speak when vanilla with a hint of patchouli hits her like a wrecking ball.

There’s no way. Today really isn’t her day.
But there he is, walking to an empty seat, wearing some less than stellar outfit: Aoyama Yuga — the bane of her existence.

**
“Bamboo fibers would be a nice material on some maternity clothings or even a nesting blanket offered as a maternity item.” A female Omega says.
“I really like the idea of dress pants with the full panel, I struggled a lot with maintaining business attire for my job while pregnant.” A male Omega adds, shocking Ochako. Didn’t male Omegas just stay home? What job could he have that required such a wardrobe?
“I will be sure to mention all of these in our next meeting,” Tsu smiles at the group, “are there any last minute comments or concerns?”

“I uhm…” Aoyama starts and then pauses, seemingly unsure of himself, “I know some of the female Omega maternity clothings comes with the
slick absorbent material, would that be something that could be incorporated in this line? Or just some of the products?”

“Why not just wear the ones already available?” Ochako blurts out before her eyes go wide. She doesn’t even want to look at Tsu because she knows how pissed
she’ll look, but in her defense, she didn’t mean for it to slip.

“Because most male Omega have issues with clothes geared for their female counterparts. It’s usually cut in a way that is uncomfortable or not something some of us like to wear. Just because I’m an Omega doesn’t
mean I should be made to wear more feminine clothing.”

“Oh..I-I-I didn’t mean to—“

“That’s a valid question,” Yuga starts, “and to some it may seem like an obvious one, but it feels good when you see clothing that's more tailored to people like you and in my case that would
mean being able to go to a /male/ Omega section and finding undergarments rather than feeling awkward in the female section.”

Her eyesight starts to blur as tears feel them, bottom lip trembling as she holds in whimpers. Everything feels like it’s weighing down on her, this day
is just miserable! She excuses herself, trying to get as far away from the room as possible, knowing that Camie is going to tear into her for that. Ocha isn’t sure which is worse: Camie’s lecture or the fact it was /fucking/ Aoyama that called her out.
Ochako pushes into a nearby bathroom, quickly scanning to see if it’s empty before stomping her foot, “AHHH!” This day is just horrible! Everything keeps going wrong and she’s fed up!

She splashes water on her face before patting it dry, taking a long look at herself in the
mirror. Why is life so unfair to her? Why is it her that always ends up with nothing? And why did that stupid blonde think it was okay to talk to her like that?

Her phone buzzes, mood instantly switches when she sees it’s a notification from Izuku’s social media.
She eagerly opens it, seeing he’s posted a new picture that’s captioned: ‘my heart, soul and stomach - Ren asked to be my stomach so she can have ice cream whenever’

The Omega squeals, how cute! Wait, Ren? She thought their names were Akira and Mio? He has three pups? Had he
told her that? She looks back at the picture and counts three girls - the eldest looking unbothered, middle giving a bashful smile while the youngest was climbing on her elder sister’s back while sporting a huge smile. She leans against the sink, getting lost in the various posts
documenting Izuku’s family.

She sees several pictures of Akita (Kimiko) smiling smugly as she holds trophies from winning various Kendo tournaments throughout the years. Ochako isn’t sure how she’s Izuku’s when she looks nothing like him…maybe /that/ Omega did trap him?
Mio’s (Mizuki) pictures are usually her holding up various plants. A cute one of her holding a poorly painted pot with a plant that has a teeny strawberry on it, captioned: ‘Zuki’s first strawberry!’ She’s even wearing a cute sage green pair of overalls with a bucket hat with Image
gardening gloves, a smidge of dirt on her cheek.

The smallest pup doesn’t seem to have a hobby like her eldest sisters — her pictures being of her with paint all over her, holding up a mostly untouched paper or her wearing various princess dresses that Ochako hasn’t seen before.
There’s a few family photos sprinkled between, mainly being various hiking trips and what seems like a few vacations. She quickly scrolls by those, not wanting to see whatever Omega currently has her Alpha trapped in a loveless relationship.
She knew it had to be, why else would Izuku focus on mainly posting his children? Happy couples /always/ post each other and once they were together, Izuku’s page would be filled with pictures of her and Izuku rather than his pups.
Ochako is about to click off, noticing the time and just how long she’s been in the bedroom on her phone. Camie’s definitely going to lecture her before she can leave. But she stops when she sees a rather intimate looking picture.
Izuku is sitting beside some blonde, the two of them facing each other as their noses touch. It’s such a soft and tender looking photo that it makes jealousy swirl in the brunette. How could he look at another Omega like that? It was the same way Tenya looked at that blonde whore
at the club several months ago.

The next one boils her blood. Izuku is holding the male Omega’s hand, pressing a kiss to his hand. The Alpha is looking at the blonde with such love and adoration, but the other is looking away. LOOKING AWAY! Image
Clearly he didn’t realize how great Izuku was for giving him a chance! He was probably looking at some other Alpha to sink his pathetic fangs into.

/Wait!/

Rather than risking accidentally liking the photography, she screenshots it. She pulls it up before zooming into the
blonde and her brows scrunch together. She /knows/ him well kinda, he looks familiar and she can’t place where she knows him from.

She slides her phone in her back pocket, making a mental note to dig up her old school yearbooks when she gets home.
“There you are!” Camie’s voice is venomous, echoing slightly through the empty bathroom. “My office. Now.”

chapter four: the pieces fell together oh so effortlessly
[start flashback]

//Bakugo Katsuki didn’t need a stinky obnoxious Alpha. He didn’t need some knothead spitting saliva as they tried to “protect” him by snapping their fangs at other Alphas. If he hated one thing about being an Omega, it was the endless amount of idiots he dealt
with growing up.

The other grievance would be the ‘you don’t look /Omega/ enough’ — the fuck did that even mean? So he wasn’t ‘soft’, he spent more time in the gym than most. He was loud and abrasive which was far from the typical submissive and gentle nature of most Omegas.
But how was that his fault? Wasn’t it theirs for stereotyping all Omegas? Which was why he wasn’t listening to the insults the Alpha in front of him is yelling: he’s heard them all before.

“YOU SHOULD FEEL LUCKY I EVEN CONSIDERED GIVING YOU A CHANCE!”
The Alpha screamed, not handling Katsuki’s rejection well. His shouts garnered the attention of others in the quad. “NO ONE’S GONNA WANT SOME WANNABE ALPHA-LIKE OMEGA!”

Ouch. Okay, yeah that chipped at Katsuki’s resolve — it was wrong though. He didn’t want to be
an Alpha, was he thrilled when he presented and had his first heat? Hell no. But his dam is a male Omega and he’s a fucking badass!

Despite what the public said, Marasu founded and started Ground Zero, one of the biggest fashion companies in the world.
His sire simply helped it grow when it first got off the ground — not the other way around. So why would he want to be an Alpha? Especially if they were like the moron in front of him.

Camie grabbed his arm, trying to pull him away, but he didn't move. He didn’t want this Alpha
or any other knothead to think they could talk to him any which way.

“Then wh—“

The words got lost in the commotion of someone’s fist hitting the Alpha in the jaw, causing him to topple over.

Never speak to an Omega, or anyone for that matter, like that /again/.” The words
were filled with nothing but venom, but the smile on his face was sunshine and rainbows.

Katsuki was taken aback at the drastic difference coming from the…he couldn’t pick up on any scent. Even Betas have a minor scent but this guy didn’t look like a Beta.
Once the Alpha scurried away, the greenette looked over at Katsuki and Camie. “Are you two okay?”

One beat.

Two beats.

Three beats.

“I /had/ it handled!” Katsuki yelled, getting an incredulous look from Camie. Sure the blonde could be aggressive when warranted but this was
not one of those occasions. Even his own expression showed that he was equally as confused by his reaction.

The mystery man scratched the back of his neck, unintentionally bringing attention to the thick patches on his scent glands. “I’m sorry. I just…ah, never mind. I do
hope I haven’t completely ruined your afternoon. I should get going, have a nice day.”

When he was far enough away, Camie smacked Katsuki in the shoulder. “The fuck is wrong with you? Some fine as hell man comes and you yell at him! Honestly, Kats what am I going to—“
She stopped when he noticed he wasn’t beside her, looking over she saw the blonde and she gasped. His face and neck were completely bright red and he was covering his mouth, eyes widened. Camie had seen her best friend go through several emotions, but this, this was new.
If she hadn’t known any better she would say he was smitten.

***
/Which degree program is he in? I haven’t seen him before./

“Kats!”

/Is he eating okay? He seemed like the guy who’d eat cheap ramen./

“Kats!”
/He had dark circles…definitely not sleeping properly./

/Sigh./

“Katsuki!”

/Is he in class? If so, which one? Is he paying attention? Taking notes?/

“BAKUGO MARIE KATSUKI!”
The blonde shook his head, seemingly coming out a daze before meeting hazel eyes filled with worry. “Hm?”

“What’s goin’ on up there?” She tapped her index finger on his temple twice causing him to frown before swatting her hand away.

He tried to rack his brain for something
to tell her because telling her the truth, that his thoughts never strayed far from that mystery Alpha (?) definitely wasn’t an option. However his best friend immediately picked up on the faint blush dusting his cheeks and the tips of his ears.

“OHMYGODS! YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT
THAT GREEN-HAIRED ALPHA!”

“Camie, shut the fuck up!” He hissed, turning even more red, a mixture of Camie’s correct guess and the fact /everyone/ in the cafeteria was looking at the pair.

“Oops, sorry!” She poked out a lip which got her a soft kick under the table. “But you
are? Thinking about mystery man?”

He rolled his eyes, so what? Blame the stupid mutt in his head for going coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs over him. It was probably because his heat was coming (it’s not) and his Omega just wanted the nearest Alpha (it doesn’t).
Camie smirked, “you’ve never given more than half a thought to an Alpha…unless you count that one back in mid—“

“We made a pact that that would /never/ be spoken about again.” He glared at her, not that it did much, they’d known each other far too long.
“I’m sure his Omega wouldn’t like you thinking about him so much.” Her words were filled with playful teasing, but his own Omega did not get the memo.

/Omega? No. No he couldn’t have an Omega and look that tired and starved…if he did then he clearly needed one that would take
better care of him! One that would help him eat better, time manage better to get more sleep, help him fix whatever the fuck his hair was doing…/

For the first time in his life, Katsuki heard his Omega growl. Growled at the thought that this no-name Alpha had someone else
because in the mutt’s own words: /our Alpha/.

“Wait — did you add Marie to my name?”

Count ‘em: one, two, three.

THREE.

Three weeks went by before that hair of dry and ill-styled curls were seen again on campus. Twenty-one days of his Omega driving him mad constantly whining about whether or not he was caring for himself, eating, drinking water,
sleeping, passing his classes.

Nearly a month of feeling restless over a man he interacted with for less than five minutes and there he was, just casually talking to some other Omega. Like he hadn’t influtrated Katsuki’s mind for days on end! How dare he!
How dare that Omega look apathetically at the Alpha as if he wasn’t a walking wet-dream!

“Is tha— “ Camie's words stopped abruptly as Katsuki stomped over towards the random pair. She smirked, oh yeah, junior year was surely going to be an interesting one.
The closer he got, the more annoyed that Omega was making him — seemingly ignoring the taller one to keep checking his phone, giving one or two word responses and acting like he had something better to do. If he was so uninterested, why was he even wasting his time?
He was about to clear his throat to get their attention when he saw the tone-toned bastard (seriously who dyed their hair like that) reach out and touch the other man’s cheek. Katsuki saw red as his Omega bared its fangs, clearly the action was unacceptable to the mutt.
“Get away from /MY/ Alpha!” Katsuki growled, pushing his way between the two, his back against the Alpha’s chest. His fangs had fully dropped as he hissed at the other Omega that had gotten way too close to the greenette. Instead of flinching or trying to stand his ground, the
other Omega started to laugh, confusing the fuck out of the blonde.

He wiped the tears from his eyes, “oh I’m sorry! That was just…I can’t believe…”

Katsuki watched the two-toned Omega struggle to speak, laughter breaking up his words no matter how hard he tried to calm
down. He stood there completely confused and when he turned around, the Alpha was a flustered mess. His mint and green tea pheromones had sweated so much, they were slipping from under his scent patches and had Katsuki’s Omega dizzy.

The blonde watched as a huge Goliath of an
Alpha appeared, pulling the stick of an Omega into a kiss before realizing there were other people there. For a split second he wondered how that even worked between them, but realized it was not the time for such thoughts. The peppermint stick still struggled to get his words
out, but to Kats amazement, the Alpha completely understood him and thankfully translated.

“My name is Yoarashi Inasa and this is my mate, Todoroki Shoto.” He pulled his own collar to the side revealing the mating bond, causing Katsuki to realize how insane his accusation
must’ve sounded, “and that ripe strawberry behind you is…”

“Midoriya Izuku,” the Alpha seemed to come out of his flustered state and met Katsuki’s eyes. “Will you marry me?”

***
Somehow even after seeing the mystery Alpha, that he now knew as Izuku, things got slightly more
stressful for Katsuki.

After his abrupt and rather unprompted proposal, Yoarashi dragged Izuku away leaving the two Omegas alone. IcyHot explained he wasn’t touching Izuku for just any reason, but to get something out of his hair (uncooked
ramen noodles) cause he was talking about potentially running into the ‘sweet and beautiful blonde’ — the other Omega definitely made a comment about not seeing either in Katsuki.

Before Katsuki could react, the two Alphas returned. Izuku immediately bowed in front of Katsuki,
apologizing for the outburst and making sure to emphasize that his mother did teach him how to be a proper Alpha. Katsuki wanted to laugh, but the 90 degree bow and the sincerity in his tone had his Omega lapping up each word, whining for Kats to accept the apology.
Cut forward to now, two months after he’d accepted the Alpha’s apology and well into Izuku spoiling him. Thankfully, Katsuki and Camie had an off-campus apartment because there’s no way that all the gifts from Izuku would have fit in a standard sized dorm. A singular flower had
been delivered each day, with the message that they would stop once the Omega told him his favorite one.

Camie begged for him to put the sweet Alpha out of his misery and so Katsuki did, kinda, he told him it was a type of Lily (a Forever Susan) — Camie threatened to suffocate
him in his sleep, but he didn’t hear her complain when he allowed her to arrange them however and told her she could have some for her room. (Forever Susan)

Izuku had taken Katsuki to a Nests, Heats, and Beyond to get whatever supplies he wanted or needed. While the blonde was
looking at their newest nesting pads, Izuku had wandered off and when found, Kats’ Omega preened.

The Alpha was standing in the courtship section: it housed blankets and pillows that held pheromones longer, various plushies, collars and a special type of candle that you add your
scent oil to. There were even special jars and something similar to a water/squirt gun for if you wanted to go a more outdated piss-scenting route.

Izuku’s brow was furrowed, staring intently at the blankets in each hand; one cotton, one fleece. Katsuki walked closer, careful
enough not to startle Izuku and could hear his whispered mumbles.

“He said that he gets hot easily, so cotton would be the best choice because it’s a breathable fabric and cool — but fleece would be good in case he gets too cold either during a chilly morning or if the AC is too
high cause it’s hot outside since it’s made to keep you warm. Then which color do I get? Orange is his favorite color…or at least one that he seems to highly favor, but green,” the Alpha turned bright pink in an instant, “well it matches me and would keep me in his thoughts. Is
that too forward as a courting gift? Ah, well Sho did say his brother rubbed slick on—“

“Are you thinking about another Omega’s slick, Izu-ku?”

Wide emerald eyes looked at him, face turned an even brighter pink, “no no no, Kacchan, it wasn’t like that —“ His explanation got
tangled together, the words coming out in a huge jumble: apparent IcyHot’s eldest brother got annoyed that the Alpha he wanted wasn’t picking up his hints (Keigo was hopelessly oblivious) so he slick-marked his work desk. Respect.

“Kacchan, huh?” He teased, “guess I’ll call you
Nerd since you just practically just broke down fabrics by their fibers.”

Izuku whined, something most Alpha would never do in public and let alone, in front of an Omega that wasn’t their mate. His Omega did NOT swoon, it definitely did NOT. He could tell Izuku was starting to
get nervous, chewing on his bottom lip and bouncing back and forth on his feet.

“I do really like orange, but green is starting to rub off on me.” Katsuki whispered in the Alpha’s ear, smirking at the shiver he knew ran down his spine, “oh, cotton preferably, if I get cold you
can just warm me up.”

“Kacchan ~” If he had been a pup, Izuku would’ve stomped his foot and pouted. Katsuki had to know how that insulation would affect him! The Omega had practically invited him into his nest and that was…well scandalous! Only your mate should go into your
nest and if his mama ever found out he had gone into an Omega nest…he would not be around to tell the story.

-
-
Izuku nervously waited on Katsuki’s campus for him. The Alpha along with Inasa went to a law school about an hour or so away and the only reason Izuku had been
there was because he tagged along to see Shoto the day he first met Katsuki.

The scent of cinnamon and clove hit him like a ton of bricks well before he even saw the blonde, it made him feel safe and warm; like a winter day spent huddled under blankets watching old movies.
Fated mates were nothing more than a story, but if they were real, Katsuki would be his if the way his scent affected him was anything to go by.

- - -

Katsuki hadn’t expected Izuku to be such a traditional-ish Alpha when they first met, especially considering he used
physical violence and the next time proposed. But he was — he refused to go into Katsuki and Camie’s apartment since he hadn’t presented him with a courtship gift, wanting to wait until he found the perfect one.

So Katsuki led him to a hidden gazebo on campus, so they could be
away from wandering eyes. He watched as the Alpha nervously fiddled with his nails, Kats could tell he had been anxiously picking at them for days. He placed a comforting hand on Izu’s knee and held back a smirk as he watched the greenette relax almost instantly.
“Bakugo Katsuki,” Izuku cleared his throat, “would you please acknowledge my intention for a courtship by accepting this gift?”

The Omega took the box that had a carefully tied intricate bow on it, the Alpha’s wonderful green tea and mint scent could be picked up on the bow
alone. He opened it slowly and found inside a cotton green blanket, soaked in Izu’s scent — orange embroidered letters caught his attention.

MIDORIYA KATSUKI
He wasn’t an ideal Omega — he’s loud, brash and aggressive. Nothing like the soft and submissive stereotype given to Omegas. He could be headstrong and unapologetic, that never bothered him before…until right now — did he really deserve an Alpha like Izuku?
Why had this never crossed his mind before? He knew this was coming, he watched Izuku stress about a gift, accepted pre-courtship dates, so why now? Why were the things he liked about himself suddenly becoming such loud insecurities? He had never cared about catching an Alpha’s
attention, he never needed one yet here in this moment he is fully panicked.

“Kac—“

“No.” He shook his head, “I…I…ha-have to go.”
But before he could run away, freckled toned arms wrapped around him and he felt himself practically go limp in his arms. For a second, one of the arms unwrapped and he nearly whined until he realized Izuku was removing a scent patch.

Their scents blended together perfectly,
making a beautiful symphony to the senses. Izuku turned Katsuki around in his arms, cupping his cheeks in both hands — Katsuki hadn’t realized he was crying until Izuku gently wiped them away, still cupping his face.

“Was the embroidery too much? Mama said it might be when I was
doing it. But I wanted to show you how serious I am, I’m in this for the long haul.”

Katsuki’s eyes widened, Izuku had done that by hand? Why hadn’t he just used the service at the store? He wasn’t worth all that work, at least that’s what all the previous Alphas had shouted
at him. Why was that all suddenly bothering him now?

“You deserve a better Omega, one that’s cute, soft, dainty — people would think you’re wasted on an Omega like me.” Katsuki whispered.

“I want Kacchan.”
He smiled when Kats’ head jerked upwards almost hitting him in the chin, “I fell for you the first day I saw you. The way you stood your ground with that knothead was amazing…I shouldn’t have interfered but my Alpha took charge and wanted to show off a little.”

“A little?”
“Heh.” Izuku rubbed the back of his head, “I thought about you for weeks, worried that maybe I made it worse for you. Then out of nowhere, there you were hissing at Sho, possessively claiming me as your own and that’s when I knew.”

“Knew what?”
“That Kacchan is the only Omega for me. I don’t care about stereotypes and traditional roles or what others will think about us together. I love you and all that you are is more than I could ever want or deserve. I just want /you/.”

“You love me?”
Izuku froze, “I really keep doing things out of order. I swear I was raised right.”

“You didn’t answer that question, Izuku. Do you love me?”

“Yeah,” he cleared his throat, “I love you, Kacchan.”

“I love you too, Izu.” Katsuki pressed a chaste kiss on the Alpha’s lips, their
first kiss, and he immediately buried his face on Izuku’s shoulder.

“Does this mean you accept my courtship proposal?”

Katsuki jerked his head up, slightly glaring at Izuku, “I accept it but maybe I want to keep Bakugo.”
“That’s fine! Bakugo Izuku sounds good too, don’t ya think?”
Katsuki was excited — it had been three weeks into their courtship and the two were finally able to see each other outside of video calls. Apparently neither of their schools cared they were in the beginning of a courtship and their course loads seem to have doubled. Not only
were they finally seeing each other, but Izuku was taking him to an art exhibit.

“Oh no, I forgot the tickets!” Izuku said halfway toward the venue. He started to head back towards Katsuki’s place.

“Where are you going?”

“To drop you off so I can go back to my place and get
them.”

Katsuki stared at his, yes /his/, he can say that now, Alpha like he was crazy, “you’re going to take me to my apartment, go to yours, drive all the way back to get me and then go to the venue?”

“Well I can’t leave you in my car, that’d be rude. Plus, well, uhm,” he
turned red, “our courtship is new and it would be presumptuous to ask you to come into my apartment.”

“Just drive to your apartment…the exhibit will be closed by the time you do all that.”

-
-
Izuku told Katsuki to make himself at home as he stumbled through the living room
and into his room — his scent was filled with anxiety.
If his mother knew, Katsuki would be Alpha-less.

The blonde looked around, heading into the kitchen. His face twisted up in disgust by the sheer amount of microwaveable ramen cups filling the trash can. It didn’t get any
better — the fridge was practically empty, there was a cucumber for some odd reason and multiple energy drink cans.

/How the fuck is he still alive?/

“Got ‘em!”

“Izuku!” The Alpha froze, looking at his Omega, “do you drink water?”

“Of course! There’s water in my coffee.”
Katsuki’s right eye twitched, the numerous coffee cups around his living room suddenly became more obvious than they had been. Seriously, how was he breathing right now? “I know your mom taught you how to take care of yourself.”

“Yes, she did, I just get so caught up in my
reading and case studies I tend to stay up late and drink coffee or energy drinks to stay up.”

“Izuku, there’s no food.”

“Yes the—“

“Microwaveable ramen doesn’t count so don’t try it.” The words came through clenched teeth accompanied by an annoyed expression and the iconic
hand on the hip stance.

Izuku looked at the floor, he rubbed the back of his neck. Was it wrong that he was getting a bit turned on by Katsuki’s display of dominance? Could he be blamed for finding his Omega hot even when scolding him?
“Alright, let’s go.” He motioned for Izuku to follow him out of the apartment as he typed something or another on his phone. “Have you been to this grocery store? It’s right around the corner from here.”

“I thought we were going to an art exhibit?”

“Stocking your kitchen and
prepping meals is more important.”

“But it’s your favorite artist, Kacchan.” Izuku pouted.

“My godfather isn’t that great, c’mon let’s go.”

“Wait! Godfather?” He rushed to catch up with Katsuki, “you can’t just drop that bomb and not explain! Kacchan! Kacchan, wait up!”

***
Katsuki was sweating. He was insanely nervous which was a first for him honestly. Sure, he’d given tons of oral presentations for university and aced his public speaking courses, but this…this was entirely different.

Today he was meeting Izuku’s mother: Midoriya Inko, the
strong Omega that raised an Alpha son all by herself and that terrified him. What if she didn’t like him? What if she thought her son was settling for less than he deserved? What if she wanted him to be with soft Omega? What if she wanted a bunch of grand pups?
Hell, Katsuki isn’t even sure if he wanted pups yet — he and Izuku definitely needed to have that conversation soon.

Due to a business trip, Izuku had met Mitsuki and Marasu over a video chat last week because his sire was oh so impatient and unbeknownst to him, it was customary
to meet the Omega’s parents first. They absolutely adored Izuku, Mitsuki going as far as asking if her son was paying him which led to the Alpha going on a mumble rant about all the things he loved about Kats, leaving the Omega a flustered mess and giving his sire blackmail.
Izuku’s knocking on the door drew Katsuki out of his thoughts, the Alpha giving his hand a quick squeeze. He went to take a deep breath but couldn’t get one since the door almost immediately swung open, the female version of the Alpha standing with a frown on her face.
/Oh…I guess she must not approve./

“Midoriya Izuku! Your Omega must be cold, why didn’t you offer your jacket?” She pulled Katsuki into the doorway, rubbing a hand on his arm as if to warm him up, “honestly…please forgive my son.”

“But Mama!”
“Oh, I wasn’t cold, ma’am…Mrs. Midoriya. I run hot.” He watched a smirk cross her lips as she gave him a quick wink — ah, she was teasing the poor Alpha. He liked her already.

“You can call me Inko, sweetie.” She gave him that same huge sunshine smile Izuku had and all the
worry and tension left his shoulders instantly.

***
The three were eating a meal together, Inko had made spicy curry after Izuku had mentioned Katsuki's love for spicy foods. Things felt right, they felt comfortable to be sitting with Izuku and his mother, as if it was
something they’d done their whole life. Maybe they had in some other lifetime.

“Tell me, how did you two first meet? Izu only told me it was when he went to visit Shoto with Inasa.”

Katsuki smirked seeing the way Izuku was trying to plead with his eyes for him not to go into
great detail, but the Omega couldn’t lie to sweet Mama Inko. “So he didn’t tell you about the time he punched an Alpha harassing me? Or when he asked me to marry him before knowing my name?”

“No, no he did not.” Inko looked at her son who was pushing his food around his plate, a
habit that he did since childhood when he was caught in a lie. “Izuku…”

“He was yelling at Kacchan. My Alpha decided to…show how strong we are.” He cleared his throat, “and what else was I supposed to say when he hissed at Sho and called me /his/ Alpha? Kacchan wasn’t playing
fair.”

“Hissed at Shoto?”

Now it was the blonde’s turn to stare at his plate, he hadn’t thought that through. “Oh uhm yeah…” He explained how his Omega wouldn’t shut up with concerns about Izuku after their initial meeting, how it was weeks before they saw each other and his
Omega snapped seeing another Omega get so close.

“Sounds like me and my Hisashi.”

Katsuki looked at Izuku, the Alpha rarely mentioned his sire and the blonde knew when not to ask questions. Izuku seemed equally surprised that his dam had brought him up, he had mentioned that it
was a sore topic for his mother.
“We met when I was working as a housekeeper at the fancy business building he worked at. For weeks, he tried to catch my attention: putting unused paper in the trash bin nearest his desk, ‘accidentally’ walking into the kitchen area I was cleaning like he didn’t see the sign and
other silly little things. I paid him no mind, after all if he was interested he could use his big Alpha words.” She blinked away some tears, “I had taken a week off to go visit my father and when I came back that bastard was letting some ‘I refuse to wear scent blockers, pick
me’ Omega lean over his desk, low cut shirt positioned intentionally. You know the ones.”

Katsuki nodded when she gave him a knowing look as Izuku was still reeling from his mother using a cuss word. In all his life, he had never heard this story and she always told him ones
about his dad. Maybe this was one of those ‘when you’re older’ stories she mentioned a time or two.

“My Omega was irritated beyond belief — thrashing about, demanding to know what the hell was going on. Why was that Omega all up in his space, ignoring the fact that he looked so
uncomfortable and why wasn’t he asking them to leave. So I put on my sweater to cover my work shirt, grabbed my own lunch and marched over to his desk. I sat it infront of him, and in the sweetest tone said: ‘dear, you forgot your bento again’. I may or may not have given the
other Omega a smug ‘my Alpha, honey’ expression.”

Izuku was looking at his mother with new lenses cause who was that? His dam was sweet and soft-spoken, he had never known her to even glare at someone! He glanced over at his mom, watching as she wiped away the small tears.
“I found a note in my work locker the next day.” Inko laughed, “Ms. Sasaki: I had wished to present you a courting gift, but I was called away for a last minute trip to Osaka. Please accept this as a placeholder until I get back, if that isn’t too presumptuous. -Midoriya
Hisashi.”

Apparently Izuku’s sire had left a pheromone soaked necktie with the note, which Inko pointed into the living room and there was a shadow box with said necktie in it along with what looked like the note. Katsuki found their love story to be beautiful, it was simple and
sweet.

“I wish I could’ve met him.” Katsuki wasn’t exactly sure what to say, with the way Inko had the courting gift framed and how Izuku avoided the topic…it seemed that something had happened to him.

“He will be home next month, we’ll have to set something up.”
“Hah?” Katsuki was confused to say the least but somehow his confusion was hilarious to Inko.

“Hisashi, my mate is still very much alive. He’s on a business trip in Korea.” She smiled, “lemme guess, my son never really brings him up.”

Katsuki just shook his head, it was still
spinning.

Inko pinched her son’s cheek, a loving smile on her face. “My son is too kind sometimes. Hisashi spent a lot of time in the states when he was just a pup and it was hard for me, being without my mate for so long. Izu just got used to not mentioning him so I wouldn’t
feel so sad.”

“Such a mama’s boy.” Katsuki teased the already blushing Alpha.

-
-
The night continued just as well as it had started, Inko and Katsuki teaming up to tease Izuku every chance they got and Kats even got to briefly see Hisashi through a daily night call to Inko.
The real kicker started when the blonde Omega accidentally mentioned Izuku’s apartment and the state of it.

“MIDORIYA IZUKU! How dare you make your Omega worry about you! No water! No food! How is he supposed to feel safe and provided for if you can’t provide for yourself!”
Inko was furious, mainly because it seemed her baby boy wasn’t taking care of himself and that worried her. What if he didn’t have an Omega like Katsuki to care? Or what if he got sick and Inasa could help?

It was very clear, through her tone, what was really wrong — she just
really cared for her baby boy. Katsuki quickly mentioned that they immediately went shopping and stocked up the kitchen and cleaned up the living room area. How they had spent the evening preparing meals to be frozen or sectioned out for the week. And that Kats threw out all the
cheap ramen and energy drinks, refilling the fridge with water, sports drinks and other beverages.

They were gearing up to leave, when Inko pulled Katsuki aside while Izuku mentioned needing something or another from his childhood room. She grabbed both of his hands and smiled
up at him.

“Thank you for taking care of my son. I know he seems to be a bit impulsive, more so around you, but he really does mean well. I want you to have these,” she gave him a small box, a stunning pair of oval-shaped emerald studs with tiny diamonds all the way around the
center stone.

“I..I can’t— we aren't’…”

Inko took her hands and closed Katsuki’s open one around the velvet box. “These were my great-grandmother’s and I believe she would want you to have them. I know things might not work out, please trust that this isn’t a bribe, Izuku has
no idea about this.”

And who was he to reject such a thoughtful gesture? Many wouldn’t believe it wasn’t a way to try to solidify the courtship, a way to force his hand to stay. But the sincerity in her words and actions all night were the exact opposite of someone trying to
force a successful courtship.

“I’ll take very good care of them.”

“I FOUND IT!” Izuku came out into the room, holding up a worn-out VHS box with a very faded All Might on the front. He looked between his dam and mate, “what’d I miss?”

“I was just telling him about the time
you swore you were in heat cause your tummy hurt but it was jus—“

“Annnnnnnnd we’re leaving. Thanks for tonight and I’ll see you Saturday, Mama!” Izuku quickly pushed Katsuki out of the house and towards his car, hoping the Omega somehow magically forgot what he heard.
He did not.

****
Ochako storms into the house, stomping up the stairs giving no regard to anyone else that may be home. She is livid! Apparently Tsu felt the need to snitch which is bad enough because they are /supposed/ to be friends.
To make matters worse that skinny blonde Alpha stealing whore tried to stand up for her! What a slap in the face! Camie had not been thrilled and she let that be known when she very calmly shut her office door.

WRITTEN UP!

She has been written up and given her first warning
all due to a stupid unnecessary clothing line! Did she mean to say the question aloud? No. But that didn’t make it any less of a genuine question! Omega clothes were Omega clothes, why did male Omegas think they were so damn special?

Not to mention she got sent home early
meaning that she missed her morning and evening train ride with Izuku! She has half a mind to storm into Tenya’s studio and tell him that if he wants to be mates with that bitch, he needs to at least keep him on a leash and not jeopardize her job. She’s almost certain that he’s
already gone whining to Tenya about how mean she was, she rolls her eyes.

[somewhere a blonde sneezes and a very worried navy blue haired man blesses him]

She flops down on her bed, deciding the best way to calm down is to see her Alpha and since he’s at work, she’ll scroll on
InstantGram. The moment Izuku’s smile appears on her screen, all is right in her world. He has posted a new photograph and she carefully pinches and pulls the screen to zoom in…wait!

There’s a jewelry store in the background of the picture! She lets out a purr, sickening sweet
scent filling her room as she kicks her feet. Izuku really is the best Alpha! He clearly is getting her something as an apology for his recent behavior and she is over the moon to receive it! She wants to rush over there now, but refuses to look like a desperate Omega, his
current one is desperate enough.

She looks back at the picture, quickly double tapping it, wanting to make sure the Alpha knows she knows. While there is a jewelry store in the background of the photo, the main focus of it is Mizuki with a huge smile,
holding up a small shopping bag with the caption: Someone got a new bracelet charm today ( > 〰 < )・°☆ .

-
-
Ochako is staring at the various outfits covering her bed and vanity, picking out the perfect outfit for tomorrow when she sees her Alpha.
She’s digging through the closet, looking for a specific pair of shoes when her phone pings.

She clicks the text, not bothering to really read what Shoto was texting before she goes to her photo app. That’s when she sees the screenshot she got off Izuku’s social media and
suddenly tosses her phone, digging deeper into the closet. She pulls out a box and tears into it, tossing folders and such out before grabbing the professional bound yearbooks.

/Ah ha!/

The brunette starts flipping through one from her second year and surely enough finds what
she’s been looking for: Bakugo Katsuki. She spent her three years of high school hearing Bakugo this and Bakugo that, listening to people fawn over him just because his parents had some little company. So what? Her dad has a company too! She’s pretty sure it’s bigger than
whatever little business his parents put together.

Now things make more sense. Bakugo is nothing more than a spoiled brat who dug his claws into Izuku. All he has to offer is his body which is why the Alpha is stuck with so many pups. How did such a distasteful Omega meet
Izuku? Probably some nefarious way, probably flared out heat pheromones and trapped him! The more she thoughts about her Alpha being taken advantage of, the harder it is for her not to storm over there and give him a piece of her mind!

**
Camie walks into the office just before
lunch, she had taken the morning off due to a personal engagement. She should’ve gone to her desk, sat down and checked emails she had already read on her company cell phone but no she didn’t.

Instead she heads to the employee lounge to get a cup of tea and before the doorway
is even in sight, she can hear Uraraka’s squawking. Seriously, it’s barely noon.

“…and he’s such a great Alpha, staying with someone like that.” Camie catches the end of that statement but is immediately thrown into the rest of her ramblings. “I know he wants to leave but
things are tough with pups and how Omegas twists the system to get them in cases of divorce.”

/Is she…she’s really throwing her own subgender under the bus…yikes./

Camie can’t really hear the intern’s response, but whatever it is, clearly the brunette didn’t like it.
“You just don’t understand, you don't see things first hand. I went to school with his mate and not to be rude, but mmm.” Ochako makes a straight-lipped expression, “he’s rude, full of himself and materialistic. He used to brag all the time about having money and getting whatever
he wanted! He bribed people to be his friend and I’m sure he’s blackmailed Zu to be with him!”

/Zu?/ Camie’s interest is fully peaked now, she leans her wait on the outside of the doorframe.

“But if he has money, why would he need to blackma—“

“Cause it’s his parents’ money!
They probably cut the self-absorbed Omega off so he had to find someone with money. Zu is a lawyer and all his…mate,” she spits out the term like it’s bitter, “does is sit at home and spend his money, /I/ would /never/ do that! I know that…”

/There’s no way…right?/
Whatever else Ochako is rambling about is completely lost on Camie, the Omega walking in the lounge and going into the cabinet where the teas are. Ochako is so lost in her own monologue that she doesn’t see her boss peek over her shoulder.
Sure enough on her phone screen is a picture of Izuku, honestly how small is the world? Camie knows that picture well, she took it after all and what she also knows is that her best friend has been cropped out. She took it right after Katsuki told the green bean he was pregnant
with Ren — she was a bit of a surprise.

The Alpha had a beautiful smile on his face, his eyes full of pure love, plus the way the sunlight reflected behind him made him appear angelic. She can’t fault her coworker for finding that picture of him stunning, but oh boy is she
playing with fire.

**
Camie lets out a sigh, looking into the cup of tea that’s warming her palms she sits at her desk. Maybe the right thing would be warning Uraraka that she's playing a dangerous game or even tell Katsuki so he has a heads up with the pup coming and all.
She smirks into her tea as she takes a sip, maybe she’ll just watch it all unfold as it goes. She could use the entertainment after all, her vibrator died last night.
-tbc

That was a long one! The entire chapter was nearly 6700 works, phew. I did cut an addition flashback from Camie, but I’ll work it into the next part — I wanted to go ahead and wrap this up.

Please lemme know what you think so far!
Also, I tend to write that Inko and Sir Nighteye are related, sometimes siblings, sometimes cousins hence why Inko’s maiden name was Sasaki.
