[WATCH] The 5 accused persons in the #ThaboBester prison escape case arrive in court for the continuation of bail applications. @LindA_MniSii
The father of Teboho Lipholo told Newzroom Afrika that he accompanied his son to the taxis not knowing that he was going to meet with a police officer to talk about the #ThaboBester escape case. Lipholo was arrested in that same meeting. @LindA_MniSii Image
A state witness told the court yesterday that Lipholo called the police saying he wanted to arrange a meeting with an officer he could trust. He allegedly said he was "scared his colleagues and community would kill him"... @LindA_MniSii
In that meeting at Mimosa Mall, Lipholo allegedly revealed what happened in Besters escape and his alleged involvement. He was then arrested. @LindA_MniSii
The witness has taken the stand this morning. His testimony cannot be broadcasted live, as per the court order. @LindA_MniSii
