From mourning to dancing!

Are you weary and burdened today, beloved? Do you feel discouraged, alone, and have the weight of the world on your shoulders? Are you grieving, afraid, or feeling hopeless and anxious about the future?

Lift up your head, lift up your eyes to Him! He promises to never abandon you! He promises to care for you and meet your every need!

He will heal you, wipe away your tears of sorrow, and give you His joy! He will turn your mourning into dancing! You will yet praise Him!

Psalm 30:2,4-5, 8, 10-12
O Lord my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou hast healed me. [4] Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.

For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. [8] I cried to Thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication. [10] Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be Thou my helper.

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: Thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto Thee for ever.

He will comfort you and drive away your fear!

Isaiah 51:11-12
Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. I, even I, Am He that comforteth you:

Who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.

He cares for all of His children! What He will do for one, He will do for all!

Jeremiah 31:9,13
They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I Am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

Look to Him today, hope in His Word; in His promises to you; in His Faithfulness! Hear His Words and be comforted, renewed, and refreshed! Let them wash over you, and refresh you like a fountain of pure crystal water from His throne!

Isaiah 61:1-3
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

That they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.

Hold on beloved, don’t despair!

The trials of this life will finally end, and one before too long, in His Kingdom, all darkness will be driven away, all sorrow, mourning, and death, and He will be our Light!

Isaiah 60:19-20
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

Rise up and Rejoice! Dance before Him in Joy!

Isaiah 61:10
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,

He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
