The Steve Jobs of web3 is here. His name is @frankdegods.
Here’s how he’s using Job’s playbook to build an Apple-like brand.
1/15
Frank has a few tricks up his sleeves and is the best at keeping us on our toes.
Like Steve Jobs, he is a master at turning curiosity into attention and demand.
Here are 6 core values he focuses on.
2/15
1️⃣ Customer Experience
Despite hiccups in the early days, Frank is obsessed with Customer Experience.
• Seamless bridging from Solana to Polygon
• BTC Degods trading channel
• Multiple legendary IRL events to entertain his holders
• First to admit the f*ck ups
Frank understands that building a brand is difficult and puts in the work.
Degods and y00ts have always been "Different"
• World-Class website design
• Constantly building in public
• Innovative at all costs
• Heavy focus on community building
11/15
One thing Frank is not afraid of is supporting his holders.
A simple look at his feed shows you how much he values every one of them.
He will RT any Degods or y00ts content to show he supports his supporters.
12/15
6️⃣ Focus on quality
Franks wants to deliver the best work possible every time.
• Degods art was subpar. The team worked for months on upgrading it.
• Y00ts art is already great, but you can also upgrade it.
• The branding of both brand is top-notch
Twitter is the No1 place to find your early alpha on new NFT projects, threads, meme lords and more, but to use Twitter in the best way possible, there are a few great tricks.
I will share with you how I now make the most of threads, bookmarks, reminders, and more. 🧵
ʙᴏᴏᴋᴍᴀʀᴋɪɴɢ:
Underrated feature imo, if you ever see a @notthreeadguy thread, and want to read it over lunch, bookmark it and it will be added to the list. Build a list of favourite tweets, thread, memes, all in one place.
ᴇxᴘᴏʀᴛɪɴɢ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʙᴏᴏᴋᴍᴀʀᴋꜱ:
Yes, now you bookmarked something, but if you want to export it, you can sign up for @Readwiseio (free) and auto export all your bookmarks to your email.
SAAS companies are the future of NFTs.
The current NFT business model is not sustainable for 95% of projects and some change will be needed to progress over the next 12 months. 🧵
SAAS (Software As A Service) companies are businesses that usually work on subscription model. You pay a monthly fee to access their technology. That's how most NFT tools work. You pay to use the tool on a monthly fee, think @icy_tools or @compass_nft.
A traditional NFT project on the other hand heavily rely on mint to generate a heavy lump of cash upfront, and secondary sales over time. The revenue stream usually looks like this over the course of the first year. Hype slows down and so does revenue.
