Scans I use and how you can set them up on Tradingview using the stock screener tool.

52w High scan

This scan identifies stocks that have reached their highest price in the past 52 weeks

Filter conditions:

100% up in 1 year

This gives you stocks up 100% or more in 12 months

Conditions:

New 1-month high

Every stock which appears here has made a new 1 month high. I added the moving average condition to filter out the ones in severe downtrend

Volume breakouts

Here you'll find stocks moving up with 3X+ their usual volume

I typically run these scans after the market has closed, and they are designed to identify any new and significant market movements. The majority of the names that appear in these scans will be common across these scans and gets repeated often.

I compile these names into a main focus list, which I review every evening to determine high-probability candidates for the following day. After few weeks, your focus list would be long enough that you wouldn't require to run scans every day anymore.

Also, even with these scans, you are set to miss out on few names and it is perfectly alright. I miss out too. Focus on what you have and make money from it. Do not run in every direction.
