🇹🇷 Turkey's opposition says its parallel count shows Kilicdaroglu ahead, without saying by how much. Earlier, Erdogan’s share of the vote was reported at 59.5%.
Turkish opposition party CHP says Kilicdaroglu is leading the race for president with 47.4% of the vote, compared with incumbent Erdogan’s 46.8% — citing their parallel count based on nearly half of all the ballot boxes.
Erdogan molded Turkey into a regional power that plays a growing role from Ukraine to Syria. But erratic economic policies left the 69-year-old incumbent vulnerable to voter resentment.
#TurkeyElections: President Erdogan's vote share drops to 50.1% with 89.3% of ballot boxes opened, according to state broadcaster TRT.
Rival Kilicdaroglu is at 44.1%, while Sinan Ogan, the third contender, is at 5.3% trib.al/FHB0Yzx
