Today, we join other Palestinians in marking 75 years since so many of our people were ethnically cleansed; their homes destroyed or stolen as they were turned into refugees.
They are still denied their right of return to this day.
Today and every day, reject the lie that Palestinians left willingly.
How many refugees are there?
Palestinian refugees are denied their right of return for the crime of not being Jewish and therefore “demographic threats”, a concept Nur Masalha expanded on in “Imperial Israel and the Palestinians: The Politics of Expansion”.
We will never give up our right of return.
Palestinian refugees returning is core to our liberation.
Palestinians and those in solidarity with us know what a lie and sham the idea of Israeli “independence” is, and how the Zionist and the British collaborated in dispossessing us.
The myriad of ways Israel oppresses Palestinians, seeking to control as much of our land with as few of us left on it, is the continuation of the Nakba.
We have always and will always resist this until we are free.

In light of #JennaOrtega boosting DecolonizePalestine, a Times of Israel blogger was “horrified” and set out to smear the website, calling it antisemitic propaganda and Jenna ignorant at best.
We went through his terrible blogs so you don’t have to!
As expected, the blogs offer no actual refutation of any of the points made, and does what amounts to throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Yes, Yizhak Rabin was by any definition a war criminal. He led a literal death march where hundreds died.
It wasn’t us who founded our movement in Basel or established a colonial trust and a colonization department.
Nor would we ever infantilize Palestinians who resisted their ethnic cleansing as he does here with the sneering “pacific” descriptor.
A talking point commonly deployed against Palestinians is that their rejection of the UN Partition Plan is the root cause for all the misery and conflict that followed.
The argument typically goes:
“Had the Palestinians only accepted the UN partition plan in 1947, they too could have been celebrating their independence alongside Israel.”
Today marks the 66th anniversary of the #KafrQasim massacre, where Israeli border patrol murdered 49 unsuspecting Palestinian villagers on the eve of the 1956 war.
Kafr Qasim was one of 7 Palestinian villages put under curfew the eve of the war. The curfew was to begin at 6:00 PM, the mayor of Kafr Qasim was informed of the curfew at 5:30 PM.
This was not enough time for the news to reach the villagers, especially the ones in the fields. 49 of them, mostly women and children, were massacred on their way home.
