No it doesn’t. Giving artists more power gives artists more power. As an artist, I have no power without my rights. And, I have no rights as an artist without Copyright. /3
If we are to avoid another impending age of darkness for artists (and screenwriters, and photographers, etc.) we must call out these liars and grifters and shine a light on a truth which is self-evident: artists’ rights are human rights. /4
That’s actual intelligence, not the artificial kind.
