So Rumble, owned by far-right figure Chris Pavlovski and funded by far-right billionaire Peter Thiel, now owns Callin. Meaning that Aaron Maté, Katie Halper, Michael Tracey, David Sirota, Briahna Joy Gray, Ben Burgis, and Sabby Sabs now work for Peter Thiel.
I posted about Callin before and I did get some things incorrect, and it's outdated, but those people I just listed are the people who are still making podcasts for Callin. A lot of the others have abandoned their shows, and Callin is a ghost town compared to what it was.
A lot of the people who they brought on to do podcasts in 2021 and 2022 have stopped making shows for the platform. Matt Taibbi, Abby Martin, Rania Khalek, Jimmy Dore, Glenn Greenwald, Ryan Knight, and Peter Daou haven't made new Callin episodes in months.
David Sacks announced it yesterday. When I first noticed David Sacks and his role in the PayPal Mafia and his boosting of these people, I thought the most telling part was his association with Peter Thiel. Now he's more known as Elon Musk's #1 booster.

A lot of people are mad at Krystal Ball for *checks notes* challenging Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his decades of anti-vax bullshit. Jimmy Dore and Nick Cruse in particular are angry.
Of all the things to hate Krystal Ball for...
Nick Cruse and the rest of RBN did an entire episode complaining about Krystal and Kyle's wedding, as if Marianne Williamson's affiliation with them will boost her Presidential chances. Their preview image didn't even include Shoe, the worst person there.
From what I recall, Aaron Maté hasn't been critical of Krystal Ball, but Jimmy has plenty of times before. We'll see if Aaron responds to any of Jimmy's conspiratorial criticism of Krystal.
Good article about the "horseshoe theory" people saying positive things about RFK Jr. Mentioned/referenced are Jimmy Dore, Glenn Greenwald, Max Blumenthal, Aaron Maté, Briahna Joy Gray, and Krystal Ball. newrepublic.com/article/172253…
Ryan Grim seems to think RFK Jr. is more electable against Trump than Biden is.
Let's add Russell Brand to this list. Brand is a "leftist" who has gone down the anti-vax path in recent years, and not surprisingly he likes RFK Jr. rumble.com/v2luxya-rfk-jr…
Four years ago, Glenn Greenwald was reporting on Bolsonaro. Now he whines about Twitch streamers like Hasan Piker.
Did you know that there are people on the left who are *gasp* millionaires?
While I'm definitely not a fan of Hasan, he's clearly less loathsome compared to Glenn. Obviously he's a hypocrite for calling himself a leftist while in a SoCal mansion with expensive sports cars, but at least he doesn't suck up to evil billionaires like Glenn does.
Hasan spends 8 hours a day showing YouTube videos to a bunch of fans with a parasocial attachment to him while saying "Russia invading Ukraine was bad, BUT..." and he's still less of a negative on society compared to Glenn.
Aaron Rupar is now "Aaron the Video-Poster", which is a much clunkier nickname than the one Glenn Greenwald gave him, "Vox Video Dunce". He also criticizes Rupar for not winning awards, but really Glenn is just mad that Rupar posts clips of him and Tucker saying awful things.
He says that Sam Sacks isn't a leftist, which if you've seen his work or his Twitter feed, you know that's fucking bullshit. Glenn is defining "leftist" by his own pet peeves.
It would be great if Jacobin deleted this tweet because it would lower Glenn's Twitter ego masturbation by a large amount.
