Hi! I'm a WGA Strike Captain and Assistant Lot Coordinator at Universal! I'm looking for some reliable humans who can take a volunteer shift every now and then as a runner for our lot. WGA, #PreWGA, or in-support-of-the-WGA all welcome
Runners work with our lot coordinators (who are all incredible humans) and gate captains (another group of incredible humans) to make sure every gate has water, snacks, and anything else our picketers need! And listen, I'm biased, but our picketers are INCREDIBLE HUMANS.
Runner shifts are either 8:45am-1pm or 1:30pm-5:30pm Mon-Fri. Runners help us set up (AM shift!) and break down at the end of the day (PM shift). DM if you're interested in helping your WGA writers, sister unions & supporters at the Universal picket lines!
