4/24 The Fallen opens in media res with Darkfang overlooking a fusion process known as Mechanical Rebirth underway.

5/24 Darkfang then steps out of the ritual chamber and into a world of color as he laments over the crudeness of the fusion process while pondering about a better way.

9/24 This concludes the lore recap. Let's take a closer look at the artwork and a closer look at what the lore drop means.

10/24 The Fallen Volume 1 marks a switchover from the Todd McFarlane inspired American Comic book style of @jon_mctavish to the more Manga style artwork of @moonimax.

This is a great changeup which was a perfect vehicle to convey Darkfang's thoughts and motivations IMO.

11/24 In this lore release we also get our first glimpse of the Mechanical Rebirth Process and a look at an Ironbound Hound.

The Ironbound hound, clad in metal, lives up to its name and looks FIERCE.

12/24 Taking a closer look at the 4th panel released, we can see what appears to be the first sneak peak at the upcoming Fusion PFPs.

13/24 What makes me so sure of the fact that this is a sneak peak at Fusion PFP is the fact that we know they the PFPs will be front facing and look similar to the image of Darkfang that was released a little while ago.

14/24 Furthermore with this lore drop we have seen about 3 Fusion attempts now and have learned a ton about fusion

15/24 Recall, the first fusion attempt we ever saw was Darkfang's failed attempt at creating a Reaper

16/24 The next fusion attempt we saw was the Unbreakable Bond fusion which yields the almighty Berserker

17/24 The finally we just witness Mechanical Rebirth yielding the Ironbound hound.

18/24 Recall there are 5 types of Fused Hounds:
1.) Berserkers
2.) Reapers
3.) Juggernauts
4.) Ironbound
5.) Awakened

19/24 We have learned from context clues that Both Blaksoot and Darkfang get 2 Fusion Rituals/Fused hounds.

We know that Berserkers and Juggernauts will side with Blaksoot and they'll be "gangster AF" 😉

20/24 Based on the other lore drops, we now know that Ironbound and Reapers will be siding with Darkfang.

Additionally, by process of elimination we can conclude that the Awakened hounds are the exclusive VIP holder fused hounds.

21/24 One last interesting observation: Each of Darkfang's and Blaksoot's fusion rituals will be comprised of one process based in science/engineering and one based on magic.

The breakdown is as such
Magic: Berserkers & Reapers
Science: Ironbound & Juggernaut

22/24 My prediction:
Before the Fusion Process really kicks off we will have to see the creation of a Juggernaut, the successful creation of a Reaper, and maybe (or maybe not) an Awakend Hound.

I also predict that all these will unfold before 2023 H2 and lead to Fusion Stage 1
