There seems to be some common theme here.

Man Wei Chong was injured but our coach did not stop him from playing.
Also remember Pearly’s unforgettable injury game against “flick serve poor sportsmanship Korean women pair”?
And then there was yesterday. Not injury per se, but very passive from our coaching team.

You can imagine if it’s China, their coach would be in the officials face.

Our players is a reflection of our coaches. Coaches need to improve their mentality.

Take a look at our malaysian cina badminton players.
They play for Malaysia.
They win, they kiss the badge with pride.
They lose, they apologise and cry.

They may not speak fluent BM, but they are not less Malaysian than you.
if you watch their interview, you will notice bar a few eg Teo Ee Yi, most do not speak the best BM.

#SudirmanCup2023 just ended with our young players giving their all for the nation.
With blood and sweat.

Fatigue has indeed creeped in.

I think Malaysia is the team that brought the most players. We have so many rotational choices, but we did not utilize.

If we do not trust, then why bring them along? To spar?

Hindsight is always 20/20 though.

Mixed pairs we have 4. Doubles we have 2. With rest time less than 12 hours, with Chen Tang Jie already having some injury, all these minor things accumulate and become a big setback to us.

I don’t blame players.

I am just bit disappointed with the strategy. #sudirmancup2023
Will GohLai or OngTeo play better? No one knows.

But we can eliminate the injury and recovery issue and focus on the performance.

Sigh.

I was working one of the early morning shift. Collaborating with one of the GH for COVID vaccine stuff.
Around 4am I think.

The hospital was full. ED was full. With Covid patients.
Pretty warm. No proper aircond.

Doctors and nurses were on semi automatic mode.
The TV was on.

Abah face was on the tele. Baca doa. With sob sob music.
Sad sad videos.

That was one of the angriest moment I have ever felt.

People suffering. He’s hiding behind the tv.
Then I went home. Was stopped by PDRM.

“Kenapa pakai lane special?”

Showed him my card.

“Sebenarnya hanya doktor boleh pakai lane ini. Lain kali jangan.”

Lazy to argue. Drove home. Exhausted.

Under Muhyiddin, KKM healthcare stuff were stretched to the very very thin.

Everyone almost died of exhaustion.

What those frontliners got was claps.
Some got Rm600. Some Rm300. Some even though they work, but “not qualified” to claim.
My fellow pharmacist work from 4am till 11pm. Almost every day.

You stay at home, starving because there’s no job.
They work in hospital, tired because the patients keep coming in and vaccines arrangement were like shit.
If you are a frontliner, if you have actually worked 1 week in the hospital, but yet you still think under his leadership we “survived”, I dunno la.

The thing is, even within PH, people are just ready to dump any problems on DAP.

Is DAP problematic?
LGE has his court case. Should be removed.
Nga is a chauvinist idiot. Should have his mouth zipped.
Several branches or groups that still maintain cina supremacy, that too.
But at the same time, they produce wonderful young talents. Search “best performing ministers” during PH era and top 3 is from DAP.

Top 5 even.
Some accusations thrown towards DAP is just long historical misinformation that has successfully brain washed even their allies.

Siapa DAP yang selalu against Islam?

This is one of those things that have been perpetuated by PN/BN since forever.

Every time PH win, they use this to scare voters. Every time PH lose, they also use this to remind voters.
Nga kor Ming? He’s an idiot. He’s a chauvinist. He is against Taliban. Not against islam. In fact right before election when PN talks about sembelih orang bukan islam, isn’t that prove of what he says about talibanism?
Just admit that most Malaysian are conservative right wing folks who are bigoted racist sexist people that rejects other races, other sexual orientation and refuse to be inclusive.

Talk cock blame DAP/PH for doing things right for what?
