On October 20, 2020, the whole world was told that protesters were being killed in tens at Lekki.
DJ Switch said that she was carrying dead bodies and dropping them at the foot of the soldiers.
And the following morning, Lagos was under attack. Police stations were set ablaze. Prisons were attacked. BRT buses and government buildings were burnt. Even a court was burnt. The palace of our revered Oba of Lagos was attacked and the staff of office taken.
Success has been achieved. Arsonists were in total control. 72 youths have been killed a night before where Eniola Badmus was the first casualty. Nnamdi Kanu then called his boys in Lagos to go after the governor and the commissioner of police and especially Tinubu.
He instructed them to ensure that Asiwaju did not escape.
Let’s not bore ourselves by asking for the relatives of the 72 or 50 or 20 youths who they said were killed because Falana once told us that they were afraid of coming out.
On May 29, Buhari will leave office and Tinubu will assume office but Kanu’s case has been adjourned to September, four months after Asiwaju would have been in office as the President of Nigeria and that Eniola Badmus who was the first to die at Lekki in 2020 was the most
visible among all Nollywood stars who campaigned for Tinubu in 2022/2023.
The CP, Odumosu was later promoted to AIG before he retired from service and Sanwo-olu, another target has been re-elected as Governor of the state defeating the IhPOB candidate.
If we take time and reflect on this, we will know that we ought to thank God.
The Quranic account of a mosquito which is so different from that of all other animals. It is the only animal which is mentioned with an emphatic denial that its creation could present any cause for
embarrassment to its Creator. Thus declares the Quran:
“Allah does not feel shy (or embarrassed) at mentioning the example of a mosquito because of what is carried above it . . . ”
Like in these verses, when He mentioned the names of small animals such as fly and spider,
and narrated parables about them, idolaters started to object. They thought they caught the opportunity they had been looking for in order to humiliate the Quran. How could Allah tell about such small and insignificant things? How on earth could it be?
