#OnePiece 1084 brought up the mystery of Lily's disappearance, but the possibility of her having secretly become Imu is a lot more likely than you might first think, so let's explore this idea together š (1/12)
So Nefertari Lily of Alabasta never returned from Mary Geoise at the end of the Void Century. The easiest answer to this is that she had a change of heart against Imu and thus was killed in turn, but managed to divulge the secrets she discovered in a letter to her family (2/12)
This would explain why the Gorosei consider the Nefertari to be "traitors", though we lack a lot of context there. But while this answer seems like the most logical and safe option, how about we think of the far more fun and interesting possibility? š (3/12)
We know Alabasta is based in part on ancient Egypt, and in their mythology, the "lily" was represented under the form of the deity "Nefertem", evidently the source of the name "Nefertari", depicted as nature itself arising from the primordial sea as a blue lily flower (4/12)
This makes me wonder if Lily is connected to the mythical figure in One Piece of the "Mother of Nature Umi (the Sea)", representing nature itself born of the sea as a flower, a "lily". This would even explain why the Nefertari have blue hair just like the sea (5/12)
This might be a stretch, but if the goddess Umi was the mythological figure depicted on Kuma's Bible as some speculated, then it would make perfect sense why she looks almost identical to Vivi's mother, Nefertari Titi (6/12)
As I previously speculated, I believe that Umi became Imu, and this could explain why Lily never pledged her sword to the Empty Throne, because the swords were pledged to her. In fact, we can see what might be that 20th sword with Imu in the chamber of flowers (7/12)
Speaking of which, that chamber is filled with what seem to be lily flowers. Imu also appears to draw butterflies to them, just like butterflies would be drawn to a flower, which would make sense if she is the Mother of Nature, named after a flower (8/12)
There's also been a lot of theories that Vivi is Uranus, but then that would make Lily the original Uranus from the Void Century, and if she survived until the present, that would explain why she now possesses ancient weapon-like power capable of destroying an island (9/12)
The only major issue in this theory is the Gorosei calling the Nefertari "traitors", which suggests the first idea of Lily having been killed by Imu for being a "traitor". Though it could also be possible that Imu completely abandoned the title "Nefertari" long ago (10/12)
My only doubt with this is why would the Gorosei try so desperately to hide what would've been a simple execution for insubordination, to the same level they've been hiding Imu's identity. At the very least if not, Lily must have discovered some big secret (11/12)
This could be why the Nefertari hid a poneglyph in Alabasta, though on the flipside you could also say that Lily had it hidden to ensure none could find it, as it was hinted at in that arc that the Nefertari's purpose was not to protect the poneglyph, but to hide it (12/12)
Though the first option is more likely, the possibility of Lily having become Imu is so enticing! What do you think happened to Lily?

York is seemingly our Egghead traitor ...yet if we trace back her steps, it is practically impossible for her to have committed all these crimes given her airtight alibis. So how will Oda explain how she did it? Let's explore š (1/13) #OnePiece
For starters, when the shields were lowered, York was with the other Vegapunks away from the systems. It is possible she sabotaged them beforehand, but how was she able to trigger the shield going down? And how was she able to lock the shield up later too? (2/13)
When Stella was kidnapped, York was sleeping in the control room with the others, and when she wakes up, she joins them in their search right away. It's possible she may have quickly gone to kidnap Stella between panels, however this is very hard to believe because... (3/13)
How Luffy's Three Commanders Symbolize The Three Ancient Weapons - š§µ
Sky, Seas, and Earth: Luffy's three commanders symbolize these three planes, but so do the Ancient Weapons. Is it a coincidence? Well, once you look into it, it's shocking just how well this connects ā”ļø (1/10)
The latest SBS revealed Zoro's mother to be named Terra. This is particularly significant as Terra means "earth", whereas Sanji's mom, Sora, translates to "sky". Add Jinbe, the "First Son of the Sea", and you have Luffy's three commanders representing the three planes (2/10)
In Greek mythology, the three planes are the realms of the underworld (or Hell/Hades), ruled by the God Pluton, the seas, ruled by the God Poseidon, and the skies, ruled by the God Uranus. These three became the names for the three furthest planets of our solar system (3/10)
WHO IS THE EGGHEAD IMPOSTOR: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO - š§µ
At this stage, it may seem fairly confusing just who could the traitor actually be, but if we simply start thinking about it properly, there is only one logical answer we can make. The game is afoot! #OnePiece (1/15)
So the confusing part about this chapter is that it seems to present a contradiction, as we know these two things about the traitor:
- Only one of the Punks could have given an order to the Seraphim
- None of the Punks could've kidnapped Stella/shot Shaka in the basement
(2/15)
We also should rule out that someone forced Stella to go outside and give orders to the Seraphim, as given how Stella seemed unaware of the identity of his captor and was instead hit in the head by them, it simply doesn't add up for him to have gone outside to order them (3/15)
Oda has set up a murder mystery with all the Punks at Egghead, but the answer is a lot simpler than you might think when you follow the basic line of logic Oda has established! Here's who did it! (1/11)
So to summarize, this traitor is responsible for:
- Sabotaging the shield of the frontier dome
- Making Vegapunk Stella vanish
- Disrupting communications
- Ordering the Seraphim to destroy the den den mushi and to kill off the others (2/11)
Well, the important thing to keep in mind is that as it's been established, when an order is given to a Seraphim/Pacifista, it can only be dispelled by either the person who gave it, or someone higher up in the command hierarchy. So this means it could only be a Vegapunk (3/11)
The Truth of Imu and the National Treasure of Mary Geoise Was Lost In Translation - š§µ
Oda has already revealed the truth of the National Treasure of Mary Geoise, but in the Japanese version you'll quickly realize it is NOT the straw hat! Here's what it ACTUALLY is! (1/16)
During Dressrosa, Doflamingo explained that the reason why he can blackmail the Celestial Dragons is because he knows of the existence of a "National Treasure that resides within Mary Geoise", claiming that its existence was so secret, no one was allowed to know about it (2/16)
He however said that if Rosinante hadn't stolen the Ope Ope no Mi, then he could've used it with the National Treasure of Mary Geoise to take over the "true power actually ruling the world". But how could he do that? Well, this is because the treasure is not the straw hat (3/16)
I've been thinking a lot about how much Kuma's powers just don't add up... a "paw paw fruit" that allows one to repel all things, but also gives ear-like properties like paws and bear ears, it's too odd to be a basic Paramecia (1/5)
I dislike jumping to any other fruit names being hidden like the Nika fruit, unless the Government had a reason to hide them. But what if Kuma's "race" isn't actually his race from birth, but actually tied to his fruit in some way? It'd explain why Bonney is just human (2/5)
If this "pawed" race was part of important extinct races associated with the Void Century, such as the Lunaria, then it would make sense the Government would want to hide its existence. Makes me wonder if a Lunaria fruit exists as well... (3/5)
