Do you want to change the world? When I was a teen we sang a song in our youth group. It went like this.
It only takes a spark, to get a fire going. And soon all those around, can warm up in its glowing. That’s how it is with God’s love.
Once you’ve experienced it. You spread his love to everyone; You want to pass it on.
When the Holy Spirit’s fire is ignited in our hearts, it will spread to those we come in contact with!
Our hearts will be so filled with Him that we can’t help but share Him with others!
Do you have His Spirit in you, beloved? When you accept Jesus as your Savior and walk in obedience to His Word, He promises that the Holy Spirit will come and dwell in you!
Acts 2:2-4
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:38-38
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Luke 3:16
He (Jesus) shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
You will see a change in the person who is filled with His Spirit! They will begin to turn from the things of this world, and be heavenly minded!
There is no hopeless case!
Do you know someone who you think, there’s no way that person will ever change; or ever be saved? Their life is too consumed by evil!
The Apostle Paul before his conversion was named Saul.
He held the coat of Stephen as he was martyred for believing in Jesus, and he led people away to prison for their faith.
Acts 7:58-59
And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Acts 8:1,3
And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem.
[3] As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
Do you know that after his conversion to Jesus, Paul spent the rest of his life preaching the gospel.
Nearly half of the books of the New Testament are attributed to him!
He was a spark, that ignited a fire for the cause of Christ!
My grandfather was in his 60’s when the Holy Spirit touched his heart, and he gave his heart to the Lord! Before that he was living a sinful life! He had a dramatic conversion!
Much like Paul, he spent the rest of his life telling others about Jesus, giving out Bible’s, and making amends where he could for wrongs he had done!
Christians are lights in this dark world!
What we’ve been given is too great a treasure not to share!
Luke 11:33
No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
Jesus said these Words to Saul!
Acts 26:14-15
I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Then He gave Paul this commission!
Acts 26:16, 18
But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.
We have the same commission beloved! Go light your world! It only takes a spark! #EyesOnHim
As much as we would like to see evil eradicated from the earth, and all those masquerading as angels of light to be revealed, the Word says the wheat and tares will grow along one another to the end!
Just how many posers,
and mask wearers are among us? It’s impossible to fully know unless they slip and reveal their true identity.
That’s why it’s so important to not just blindly follow anyone! Even those who claim to be good, or God fearing!
The devil was more subtle than any creature!! Think long and hard about that statement, before you say you couldn’t be deceived!
The anti-Christ will deceive many! Why is that? Because he will appear so much like Christ!
We can’t control when, where, or who we are born to. We can’t control the decisions made by others in our lives and in the world that affect us. But, there is one thing that only we can control!
We alone control where we will spend eternity!
God has given each person that choice, and no one can make it for us!
Joshua said this to the people!
Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:
Be careful who you are following.
Some are profiting off this movement.
Some are building a big following off this movement only then to retreat and go mainstream.
Patriots make sacrifices.
Some, the ultimate sacrifice.
Patriots are SELFLESS.
Do they ask for monTHLY payments to remain Patri-ots?
Think logically.
To some, it's only about the money.
Those who would seek personal gain at the expense of others in this movement has an agenda.
How could it be that Jesus, the Son of God, the second member of the Trinity, could have a need to learn obedience?
Hebrews 5:8-9
Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;
And being made perfect, He became the Author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him.
He was after all God, yet He became a man!
Fully God, and fully man, in order that He might take on our sins, being fully tested in all ways, yet without sin!
Hebrews 4:14-16
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities;
There is no power above God! He is seated on His throne watching over the events that are taking place on this earth and in the universe!
Isaiah got a glimpse of His position and majesty and cried out, woe is me!
Isaiah 6:1-3, 5
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high & lifted up, & His train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; w/twain he covered his face, & with twain he covered his feet, & w/twain he did fly.
One cried unto another, & said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory. [5] Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, & I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips:
