It's interesting seeing new perspectives on #RWBY
For example I've recently been showing RWBY to a friend of mine who before knowing me only heard of RWBY in a negative way yet since watching every season he continues to be confused as to WHY there is so much hate for the series
We even have a mutal friend who told him "it sucks after volume 3" but at that point we were already half way through volume 5 and he just doesn't understand the hate people have for RWBY
like I've loved this show since practically day one, before it was as well known as it is today, and before it was considered 'the norm' to hate as most people simply hadn't heard of it outside the fandom
But as the show grew and evolved so did the amount of people who weren't gonna like it and it quickly became a punching bag in the anime community and that stuck to this day making it seemingly a lot harder for people to get into it with so many negative opinions floating atound
But despite that most people who go in with an open mind regardless of what they may have heard are far more likely to enjoy it than its reputation would have you believe
My friend is going to be be starting volume 7 and although neither of us think this show is perfect, it is by no means objectively the best animated media to exist, but we find it charming, enjoyable and generally an above average series
Maybe one day there will be a time where the hate surrounding rwby can fade into obscurity so no one needs to be left confused wondering why they were so wary about this great entertaining series that is so full of heart
