A strong showing in the Bakhmut category. We're going to need some more memes now to celebrate the great Pyrrhic victory and the trading of 30k+ russian lives for a big pile of rubble that will soon belong to Ukraine again. Big up @sarcastic_spell, creator of the silver winner.

Great work in the Best Design category. I'm a huge fan of the bronze winnner but the people's vote went to "Band of Bonkers".

Big up @MichaelWatman - creator of the winning meme in the Biolab category!!! My personal overall fave. Silver and bronze both fantastic as well - and in fact the whole category is worth a look.

Category: Bonk! And more classic bonk-materiel here. Bread rolls has aged well and gets the silver but first place goes to a three ingredient recipe: washing machine + fella + bonk stick. What's not to love?

The ERA category is rather predictably dominated by Florks with a small cameo from Poland. Let's just call this one the Florks award. ♥️

Greatest Impact - the ones that make you think. All strong work here. We've been looking for the creator of the Heinken bullet belt for some time - anyone know who made that?

A popular category next: HIMARS!!! Gold goes to a superb piece of design work - well deserved. In second place - we all know when that is! And third goes to one that I've never seen but made me laugh myself silly!

Not sure what the "Langley" category is all about - I've never heard of Langley and Langley has clearly never heard of NAFO. That's probably why the winner is the winner.

He appears to be higher up the ladder than me though, I only get one bag of cash.

Three absolute classics in the Moskva category. Bronse and silver are both excellent, but only one meme in this competition was commissioned by the Ukrainian postal service. It had to win.

Most LOL: A bit of an unfair category name, as they're all pretty LOL if you ask me. I suspect the reason that the winner got gold comes down to the clueless look on the face of the tall guy on the left. 🤣

Most Seen is a sort of pre-won category. These guys have already been voted for in the public space. I think we all know and love these three.

Most Surreal - subtlety gets you the gold, but I have a soft spot for the "Battle of Techno House" playing card.

Also - I'm going to enjoy carving up Moscow later this year. The NAFO district should be fun!

NAFO Recruitment was an incredibly strong category with too many good entries fighting for only three places. Go and put some in your arsenal for boosting, now!

Nordstream. It seems so long ago. When some of these were made, we weren't even 100% sure it was Russia behind it!

"Other" - the big miscellaneous category, 222 entries - go and have a look. A riff on the classic in first place, one of my faves in second and Dave Bowman in third. In space, no one can hear you bonk. (Wrong movie, don't @ me.)

Category: Putin. Three absolute all-time classics here - they should all get gold IMHO. However, only one did, so big up @Chris8Reis who made it 🥇

Now the Shitpost category - you should all know these by heart. Thanks to @JPReisender for the gag in #2 which works just as well in the pub as it does in a meme!

Three from the Tanks category. All similar yet all different and surprisingly not a turret-toss among them. We don't know who made these, nor do we care - they're excellent!

Next up: The Hague. Gold goes to a meme that is now the profile pic of 100's if not 1000's of fellas. That one went truly viral. Accredited to @thisuser_isdumb - a truly amazing impact. 🥇A respectable bronze fo "You stole a toilet?" from the meme factory of @jodokus_kwak.

Tractors. It was another time entirely. I wonder if any farmers still have their tanks, or if they've all been fixed up and redeployed?

Vatnik: this is a category worth bookmarking. With useable memes for most occasions it's almost as good as Shitpost. We don't know who made any of these, but we know and love them all. ♥️

Oh the sweet, sweet taste of Vatnik Tears! Shout out to @bopandy1 - his gourmet fella came in 2nd, but the gold clearly has to go to surfer fella. Anyone not seen that?

Last, but definitely not least we have "What doing?" - the phrase that launched a thousand memes. Big up @OasisvBlur (giving away your age there) for the hilarious and Potteresque "What airdefense doing?".
