The Catholic Diocese of Reno, NV is endangering St. Gall Parish in Gardnerville by placing admitted sex pest priest Fr. Patrick Klekas in the parish. I'm in contact with one of his victims. Klekas's acts were not "consensual." The victim's life has been devastated. This is evil.

In this January 2020 video, captured at the victim's home, Diocese of Reno Catholic priest @FrPatrickKlekas is seen mimicking an intimate sexual act toward the doorbell camera.

As of now, the Diocese of Reno still plans to reinstate Klekas to public ministry on July 1.

Minor correction: This doorbell camera footage was captured on February 25, 2020 (not in January 2020).

This was just a few months after he was ordained.

The Diocese of Reno's May 12 statement failed to note that Fr. Patrick's sexual encounters were with a parishioner under his care. This power dynamic alone makes this relationship non-consensual. This was an abuse of power. Bishop Daniel Henry Mueggenborg is complicit.

To clarify, by "under his care," I specifically mean that Fr. Klekas had assumed authority over the victim simply by being a priest at her parish. There was a built-in power disparity.
