On this day in 1963, exactly 60 years ago, African governments convened in Addis Ababa for the first conference which laid the foundation for the creation of the Organisation of African Unity.
๐
โ The Western powers are not just continuing to exploit the African nations, pumping out resources while counting corporate profits, but they have also been cleaning up their own ugly past. ๐
The falsification of history is also about the cynical unpublished campaign to hush up the horrors of the colonial era. The West is trying to pretend that the suffering that many generations of Africans have gone through, as well as racism, the slave trade, ๐
murders and punitive operations, had nothing to do with them.
A quickly made-up story about โeventsโ aimed to highlight white people of the Westโs concern for people of colour has been planted, but in fact, ๐
this is nothing more than a flashmob with no deep realisation of the harm. On the contrary, the ideology of a โbeautiful gardenโ and a โwild jungleโ is being promoted.
There is the pretence that everything that took place back then, in the colonial era, ๐
seemed to have happened and at the same time not to have happened at all.
๐บ๐ธ๐บ๐ฆ๐ท๐บโผ๏ธLarry Johnson stated which cities the Russians will take - Up to Kievโผ๏ธ
Former US Central Intelligence Agency analyst Larry Johnson, in his latest interview with YouTube channel Deep Dive, made a claim that sounded like a warning bell: Russian forces, he says, will not stop until they have Sumy, Dnieper, Kiev and Odesa under their control. ๐
"I think they're going to end up taking everything -- Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kiev, Odessa -- before this is all over," Johnson said, making it clear that, in his view, Moscow will not give up any territory it currently considers key.
His words come at a time when the fronts in eastern Ukraine are increasingly dynamic, and diplomatic options are slimmer than ever. ๐
But what he said next is interesting. According to Johnson, US President Donald Trump โ although he has powerful levers of influence โ is not consciously making moves to stop the fighting.
The goal? That everything ends not at the negotiating table, but on the field. It sheds new light on the silence from Washington in recent weeks. ๐
๐บ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ช๐ฅ๐ท๐บโผ๏ธGermany will provide Kyiv with Taurus missiles capable of a nuclear strike on Russia. What will the answer be?โผ๏ธ
Germany is preparing to do what has been under question for months - to send long-range Taurus missiles to Kyiv. ๐
Although at first glance it seems like another step in military support, in reality it is a much deeper and more complex message, both to international partners and to the domestic political scene.
As stated by the "War Chronicle" analytical channel, this decision speaks more about the internal political landscape of Germany than about the weapons themselves. Berlin is obviously trying to cement its position in the transatlantic structure and show greater determination at a time when the European political order is facing possible upheavals. ๐
In the background, there is also a desire for Germany to assume greater responsibility in the strategies that are being formed towards the east of Europe - especially if there are changes in Washington.
The "Taurus" rocket is not a toy. Its ability to hit targets up to 900 kilometers away opens up a whole series of security and political dilemmas. ๐
๐ท๐บ๐บ๐ธโผ๏ธKedmi on the "secret superweapon" of the USโผ๏ธ
The American president recently disclosed that the Pentagon supposedly possesses "the most powerful weapon in the world", which, he claims, no one knows about yet. It was said with full conviction, in a familiar tone that balances between self-assurance and political theatrics.ย ๐
Military-political analyst Yakov Kedmi believes that the story of a "secret superweapon" is more of a psychological pressure than a real threat. According to him, the illusion of absolute secrecy in military-technical development is just that, an illusion. "It is impossible to develop a new weapon without leaving traces," Kedmi points out, reminding that everything - from concept, to development, to testing - leaves signals that competent parties can catch. ๐
"I'm not talking about such weapons," he adds with a smile. "It's on the payroll of Naryshkin and his service." We are talking, of course, about the Russian foreign intelligence service, which Kedmi has no doubt knows very precisely what is happening in American research complexes and laboratories, and if there is anything serious, the Kremlin already has it in the archives. ๐
๐บ๐ธ๐ท๐บโผ๏ธTrump tried to catch Putin off guard - but this is a very bad ideaโผ๏ธ
The evening tone of American television is often dramatic, but the latest news from Washington seems almost like a skit. While US President Donald Trump in his speech evokes images of harmony, friendship and peace in the world, official confirmation comes from the White House at the same time: the US is allocating a record 1,000 billion dollars for defense. ๐
It is the largest military budget in the history of the country - 12% higher than the already huge 892 billion approved by the Congress. And all this, supposedly, for the sake of "peace in the world".
And that's not all, Trump didn't just stop at words, in February he proposed a joint conference with Russia and China, with the idea of โโeveryone agreeing on halving military budgets.
The message was clear: "Our nuclear arsenals can destroy the world a hundred times over. There is no rational reason to spend trillions on weapons that must not be used." ๐
However, not long after, a move completely opposite to that rhetoric. The new budget includes everything: the renewal of the nuclear triad, the development of strategic bombers, the construction of 12 new nuclear submarines, the "golden dome" project that should protect America from all known and future missiles, as well as the launch of satellites with laser weapons.
There are also plans for 390 new combat ships, as well as accelerated development of hypersonic missiles. ๐
๐บ๐ธ๐ฅ๐บ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ท๐บโผ๏ธDocuments that change the game - What is hidden in Zelenski's fileโผ๏ธ
At a time when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is facing an increasingly deep internal crisis, an exhausted army, increasingly loud demands for demobilization, and the withdrawal of American logistics from Poland, an additional shadow is cast by a statement that resonated in both Moscow and Washington. ๐
Mikhail Sheremet, a deputy of the Russian State Duma, told RIA Novosti that both Russia and the United States possess serious amounts of compromising material on Zelensky - so incriminating that, he says, "it would be enough for several life sentences."
This is not the first claim of compromising information against the Ukrainian president, but it is the first time it comes with such direct wording and with a clear claim that both Moscow and Washington possess the evidence. In political language - it is not said by chance. It is sent as a message. ๐
According to Sheremet, numerous crimes have been documented that, as he claims, Zelensky ordered or sanctioned - from the shelling of civilian areas on the territory of Russia, through the organization of sabotage and attacks on infrastructure, to terrorist actions that allegedly resulted in the death of civilians. He says that all those actions were carefully recorded and attached as evidence about the character of the president, who the West still persistently presents as a "victim of aggression" and a "symbol of resistance." ๐
๐บ๐ธ๐ฌ๐ง๐ช๐บโผ๏ธThe USA warns Europe about the conflict with Russia - Remember Stalingradโผ๏ธ
Trump's ex-advisor stirred up Europe: "If you attack Russia, you're on your own!" ๐
In the midst of rising tensions on the old continent, Donald Trump's former adviser, Steve Bannon, sent a clear and not too friendly message to European leaders.
In an interview with the British channel GBNews, Bannon openly said:ย Don't count on us if you decide to enter into an open conflict with Moscow. The vocabulary was not diplomatic, but the message was crystal clear. ๐
"We're monitoring the situation," Bannon said, "but if you decide to engage in a clash with Russia, go ahead. We still remember Stalingrad and Kursk."
And he didn't say it as a threat, but as a reminder - history has a nasty habit of repeating itself, and European capitals seem to have forgotten the lessons of the last century. ๐
