There is no greater joy than to see your children walking in truth!
3 John 1:2-4
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
This is so very true, beloved!
There is no greater joy as a parent than to see God at work in their children’s lives!
This is true for those of us who have our own children, but as in Paul’s case, also those who are our spiritual children; those we’ve nurtured in the Christian faith!
Sometimes when we see our children make mistakes and stumble along the way, we think we must not have done a good enough job as a parent, but that’s not necessarily true!
Paul wrote to his spiritual children in Galatia who were listening to teachers who were trying to keep them under the law. They were evidently upset because he had spoken truth to them about these people.
But he was more concerned w/their spiritual health, than anything else, so he spoke truth to them! He said this!
Gal. 4:16,19
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? [19] My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.
Our children must have trials and tests in their lives in order to grow! This is the way that the Lord has chosen to perfect us in His love!
James 1:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.
Today, I got to see a glimpse of my sons growth in the Lord, & I can’t tell you the great joy it brought to my heart! It was in his words to his own children!
I have experienced this great joy w/some of you as well, when I see the Lord at work in your lives and in your hearts!
I see your desire to serve Him, and be obedient to Him, and my heart is filled with joy!
Beloved God promises to finish the work He began in us until the day of Christ! He won’t break that promise!
Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
I thank my God today, beloved, for each of you!
We are all on our individual journey with the Lord, and we won’t always see eye to eye, but we have this in common; a desire to please Him and to be found faithful when we see Him face to face!
Thank You, Lord, for the tangible evidences You give us to remind us You are at work both to will and to do according to Your good purposes in us and in all those we have committed to You! #EyesOnHim
If you could see yourself the way others see you what would you see?
Sometimes it’s hard to see ourselves realistically. Some are very hard on themselves & others don’t seem to be able to see their own weaknesses. Insecurity on the one hand, pride on the other!
After David’s sin with Bathsheba, and his subsequent attempt to hide their sin by sending her husband to the frontlines only to be killed, the Lord sent Nathan the prophet to confront him with his sin! Here is what happened!
2 Samuel 12:1-7
And the Lord sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
Jesus is our Lighthouse; a Beacon in the storms of life!
When we walk through the storms of life sometimes it seems the way ahead is unclear. It’s at just these times we need to look up and look ahead. We need to look to our Lighthouse!
A lighthouse is a tower, building, or other type of physical structure designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses and to serve as a beacon for navigational aid. Lighthouses mark dangerous coastlines, and hazards to avoid!
His Word and He Himself are our lighthouse! Our guide to avoid the dangers and hazards ahead!
Psalm 119:101-105
I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Thy Word. I have not departed from Thy judgments: for Thou hast taught me.
What does the future hold? We can’t be certain beloved! The use of the phrase, that the only certainties in life are death and taxes goes back to the 1700’s!
Only God knows the future!
What will you do when faced with adversity?
Our hearts must be prepared in the Lord! We must know without doubt that no matter what lies ahead He will walk with us through it!
There is nothing we will have to face alone! A person who trusts in Him doesn’t have to fear!
Psalm 112:7
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
Are you a fearful person? Do you tend toward anxiety? The Word tells us over and over not to fear!
As much as we would like to see evil eradicated from the earth, and all those masquerading as angels of light to be revealed, the Word says the wheat and tares will grow along one another to the end!
Just how many posers,
and mask wearers are among us? It’s impossible to fully know unless they slip and reveal their true identity.
That’s why it’s so important to not just blindly follow anyone! Even those who claim to be good, or God fearing!
The devil was more subtle than any creature!! Think long and hard about that statement, before you say you couldn’t be deceived!
The anti-Christ will deceive many! Why is that? Because he will appear so much like Christ!
We can’t control when, where, or who we are born to. We can’t control the decisions made by others in our lives and in the world that affect us. But, there is one thing that only we can control!
We alone control where we will spend eternity!
God has given each person that choice, and no one can make it for us!
Joshua said this to the people!
Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:
Be careful who you are following.
Some are profiting off this movement.
Some are building a big following off this movement only then to retreat and go mainstream.
Patriots make sacrifices.
Some, the ultimate sacrifice.
Patriots are SELFLESS.
Do they ask for monTHLY payments to remain Patri-ots?
Think logically.
To some, it's only about the money.
Those who would seek personal gain at the expense of others in this movement has an agenda.
