1. Ever wonder what the rest of the Mona Lisa looks like?

Got @Adobe Firefly to help fill out the background for me with the power of AI

Here's what the backgrounds of the most famous paintings in the world look like with AI: Image
2. This was inspired by @leebrimelow's first version of AI-expanded Starry Night: here's my version!

(scroll to the end to see Lee's original!) Image
3. Van Gogh, Café Terrace at Night

Pretty much any Van Gogh is GREAT with AI: something about the distinctive brushstrokes get copied perfectly Image
4. Hopper, Nighthawks

Immediately offscreen, an absolute NIGHTMARE of a waiter waiting with other patrons at the bar Image
5. Seurat, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte

I cheated a little here and added some noise to the AI background to make it match Seurat's grainy pointillism style

Check out those half-boat-half-swans on the lake! Image
6. Mondrian, Composition with Red Blue and Yellow

Welp, AI tried to add some colors OTHER than red/blue/yellow, but it did generally try to think about grids and blocks of colors! Image
7. Van Gogh, The Bedroom

In this one, it nails the quirky perspective/lines from the original painting Image
8. Bosch, The Garden of Earthly Delights

This one was tough and its not entirely AI's fault: the painting is REALLY complex (and frankly weird)

It got the general shapes/colors right, but went really abstract Image
9. Jan van Eyck, The Arnolfini Portrait

Super interesting how it rendered the rest of the bed, the entirely new window on the left, and the extra shoe/rag on the floor! Image
10. Botticelli, The Birth of Venus

AI filled out the rest of the wing! And renders pretty similar shaped/colored trees

It also made a semi-reasonable guess that there was more WATER in front of Venus, instead of land Image
11. Fragonard, The Swing

From far away it doesn't look so bad, but if you zoom in you'll see that AI is started creating more and more Image
12. Michelangelo, The Creation Of Adam

Super interesting little hallucinations, like the blurry man under Adam. VERY cool that it tried to create the "cracks" in the paint accurately! Image
13. Original idea for this came from @leebrimelow, who did Starry Night to beautiful effect:

1. Babies swimming with gators:

Is this normal in Florida? Image
2. I've noticed that the most eye-catching Midjourney prompts are the ones that juxtapose two highly improbable things ImageImage
3. Midjourney also seems to have interpreted "baby" not just to render a human baby, but to make the alligators "babified"

Cuter faces, smaller snouts, giant adorable eyes... on the gators. ImageImage

AI IS NOW PART OF GOOGLE SEARCH

Everyone's been saying "AI will kill Google Search" but instead, @Google is now integrating AI directly into its search experience

Step 1: get on the waitlist at labs.google.com/search/experim… (it took me less than a day to get access)
Step 2: Turn on SGE (Search Generative Experience)

Then head to google.com and start searching to get AI-powered overviews. Here's an example:

"How to explain chess strategy to a 6 year old?"

google.com/search?q=How+t… Image
Step 3:

SGE will appear directly ON the search page, and it's integrated with

- conversational responses
- better trends
- shopping directly in Google
- things you should be considering

PLUS you can ask follow up questions with prompts

1. Everyone is losing their mind about the $NVDA price.

Here's why @nvidia's recent stock boom matters and how artificial intelligence is changing the economy (and the world):
2. Nvidia is now worth 250x MORE than they were 10 years ago.

Ten years ago, Nvidia’s market cap hovered around $4B.

Today, Nvidia is the 5th most valuable technology company in the US, worth nearly $1T: only 20% less valuable than Amazon. Image
3. The company forecasted $11 billion in the next three months

(That's more than 50% higher than analysts' projections!)

Result:
- $NVDA shares jumped 27%
- Nvidia hit a record $960 billion in market value

Google just announced NEW AI-POWERED ADS. Why does this matter?

Well, 79% of @Google's revenue comes from ads.

(That's $282 BILLION DOLLARS last year!)

Here's everything you need to know about the new AI ads that Google is launching:
AUTO GENERATED AD IMAGES

Instead of coming up with new ad imagery every time you want to run an ad on Google:

- AI will learn from your ad text
- Auto-generate you images (with lots of options!)
- Crop and scale it for you!
- Even enhance images from your site Image
AUTO IMPROVED AD IMAGES

If you have existing images from a brand shoot, Google's AI can now auto-magically:

- increase resolution
- remove the background
- generate a scene within existing images

Ex: "Generate a cat in front of a plant" + your packaging Image

1. Here's how you can make your own custom DnD map (or any game map!) with some AI in minutes.

I did it with @Adobe Firefly, and here's how to do it:
2. @icreatelife came up with the idea and I loved it.

Her original prompt:

3. Made my own map on Midjourney:

/imagine game map with mountains, rivers, paths, rocks, and trees Image

1. Meta just announced a new AI model that is going to revolutionize speech technology:

MMS = Massively Multilingual Speech

It can do:
- speech-to-text
- text-to-speech
- supports 1,100 languages
- recognizes 4000 spoken languages

And it's all thanks to... THE BIBLE 🤯
2. The Bible has the most speech data in the world:

- translations in many languages!
- widely studied!
- has publicly available audio recordings!

Meta made a dataset of readings of the New Testament in over 1,100 languages, with an average 32 hours of data per language
3. That means MMS can now do speech-to-text and text-to-speech for those 1,100 languages.

(Alas: there are still thousands more languages and many of them are dying)

SO THEN: Meta found recordings of Christian religious readings to help MMS recognize another 4,000+ languages!
