I've really enjoyed my time so I thought I'd put together a little Namjooning guide to Florence, Italy! 🧵

There's a few spots Namjoon has been to in his 2017 trip that I went to visit!

📍 Colonna di San Zanobi
We start at the most famous location in Florence, the Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore! The column next to the baptistery is where Namjoon snapped this photo! ImageImage
📍 terrace of Move On record store/pub
Around the cathedral again, this spot is not easy to find but it's right next to the outdoor tables of this pub/store! ImageImage
📍Piazza della Repubblica
The merry-go-round is a prime photo spot! It's very pretty at night too ImageImage
📍House of Dante
This doorway is just around the corner of Dante's house, it also hosts an art gallery! The Dante museum is also worth checking out while you're here :) ImageImage
📍Sapori di Korea
Namjoon ate here during his visit, it's near Dante's House! His sign is on the wall inside the restaurant (more of a snackbar) and the owner is really sweet and welcoming to ARMY! ImageImage
That's it for Namjoon spots in Florence (for now) but here are some of my recommendations of things to do! Of course the Uffizi Gallery is a must to see masterpieces by Leonardo, Michelangelo, Botticelli etc

📍Galileo Museum
I really recommend it, it houses many historical scientific instruments including Galileo's ACTUAL TELESCOPES.
Cue Game of Thrones music when the astronomical rings show up ImageImage
📍Basilica di Santa Croce
Really worth visiting too, it has the tombs of Machiavelli, Galileo, and Michelangelo, and some sculptures by Donatello! ImageImage
📍La Menagere
My favorite cafe in Florence, absolutely beautiful inside, good food for all times of day and has live music most evenings! ImageImage
📍Brac
Cafe and restaurant and bookstore, everything they serve is vegetarian and delicious! ImageImage
📍Cafe Gilli
One of the most famous and oldest cafes in Florence, has great coffee and pastries ImageImage

Today I'm reading this book that Namjoon recommended 💜 #RM @BTS_twt Image
So i read Babylon already the other day (the first short story) and i have a fear of heights.. i was pretty shocked to actually feel my fear while reading this story. It follows someone going up the tower of Babylon that is meant to reach the heavens. The writing is WOW
The second short story is Understand, and it's following a guy called Leon who had an accident and is recovering from brain damage. This is affecting me a lot because I have a friend called Leon who fell on his head in a climbing accident and is now in recovery 😔
