SuffraGents follower Richard made a tweet claiming he was a 'TRA' and posted his picture asking for everyone to make him "go viral", this was shared extensively by +700 GCs.

It was quickly pointed out to him that the man arrested was gender critical and a known far-right ex-EDL member associated with the DQST protests at Honor Oak organised by Turning Point UK. Richard refused to remove the tweet and continued to let the misinformation spread.

Once GCs started to catch wind that he was one of theirs they started posting a Turning Point UK tweet claiming he was simply a 'Jewish patriot' and the counter protestors had committed a racist 'anti-Semitic hate crime'. TPUK are big fans of KJK, often attending her events.

Eventually Richard was DM'ed by Turning Point UK asking him to remove his tweet, he claimed he didn’t have the information that the arrested man was there to support KJK despite defending his post all afternoon, he then removed the tweet several hours after posting.

In the evening The Telegraph picked up on the story and published an article using a picture of the man being arrested with the headline implying he was a "Transgender activist".
