where did my RM900 come from?

a long time ago when the toyota camry hybrid was launched in 2015, i booked one at Toyota PJ outlet but i never proceeded with the order

instead i booked again and took delivery from Toyota Subang

i forgot all about the money at the PJ branch

until of course i checked in this egumis system, which will list all the unclaimed money under your NRIC number

umw toyota is part of a listed company with strict accounting rules, they cannot simply makan deposit money as revenue as it is a deposit and not "earned"

i also found around RM100+ of payments from Etiqa insurance, which i am not 100% sure what its for but i suspect its commission for Motortakaful policy sale when i tried doing referrals i think more than a decade ago

when i checked my wifes IC i found all sorts of deposits such as phone line deposit for copper phone line from Telekom Malaysia. as you know TM already shut down copper line service in many areas. now all VOIP. duit deposit for those lines they need to return. all masuk egumis.
