Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid's inevitable reunion:
The history
PART 1.
(A thread)
This first thread will mostly talk about the history between Mbappé-Real Madrid-PSG, going back to earlier days.
A bit of a recap because it's important to know these facts going forward.
For trauma-related reasons regarding the anti-climactic end of the 2022 failed Mbappé move to Madrid for Madridistas, and reasons that have to do with plain denial for non-Madridistas, many people have simply decided to totally ignore many truths about the Mbappé-Madrid situation
As you all know, Mbappé is probably the hottest property in football today, and will be for a very long time.
It is no secret that, since childhood, the hottest property has always been infatuated by the "hottest club", in this case, Real Madrid.
Every other "big" club in the world would die to have him, obviously.
But why do we never hear any serious news about him being linked to other clubs except Real Madrid? Even when he'll be a free agent soon?
It's simply because all clubs know his destiny is one: Real Madrid.
Its why you see all people celebrating his renewal everyday. RM is the only club to have been succesful in all eras of ⚽️. People are traumatized by it.
They know that KM's eventual arrival would put Europe in a chokehold once again, and they love that its hasn't happened (yet)
Now let's talk about the situation with PSG.
In 2017, when he actually had the option of joining his dream club Real Madrid, who were the best club in the world at the time (by far) who also employed his two idols, Zidane and CR7, he went to PSG instead to play more and develop
As his mother and himself revealed in interviews and his own auto-biographic book, this was a decision purely based on his development.
They believed the Madrid move was too big for him back in 2017, and went to PSG instead to grow, using it as sort of a stepping stone.
Jump to May 2021. He has rejected many contract renewal offers from PSG since his 2018 World Cup triumph.
KM has been a PSG player for 4 years, breaking record after record and topping the Ligue 1 scoring charts every year and shining in the UCL (despite never winning it)
Despite his love for Paris and his attachment to his country, KM knew that signing a new contract with PSG would hinder his chances of playing for RMA. He has grown and developed to a beast that can sustain the pressure of playing for the biggest club in the world. He is ready.
Hence, his plan (And obviously Perez's) was to move to Real Madrid in summer of 2021, when he enters the last year of his contract.
That way he could fulfill his lifelong dream, and also help PSG by handing them a €200M transfer fee, which would be fair for both parties 🤝
Enter Nasser. PSG's owner, appointed by Qatar's very own emir.
PSG's owners have an obsession, and it's to turn the club into the biggest brand in the world & winning the UCL. Their only tool to achieve it? Money & politics. Lots of it. No morality, no self-respect, no humility
Just before the Euros, Nasser drops the bomb:
"Mbappe will never be sold, and he will never leave on a free."
It shook the world. How can someone never be sold, and also never leave on a free? Unless you plan to imprison him? That was the day Qatar's mask slipped.
Later in August, after a summer of speculation and of news CONFIRMING Mbappe's DEFINITE intention of moving to Madrid (which was ALWAYS denied by French media, who are technically owned by Qatar, as Qatar does not only own PSG but owns France as a whole with its investments)
PSG had signed Messi, and completed a galactic summer (its biggest ever).
On their galacticos presentation day, first thing Nasser says on TV is
"Mbappe has no more excuses not to stay".
It has become crystal clear that Mbappe was very keen on a move. Qatar has gone mad..
PSG have lost control over the situation, and Real Madrid's bid for Mbappe has come on the 22nd of August.
€180M for a player that is on the last year of his contract, who has PUBLICLY expressed his intention of leaving to fulfill his dream and his unwillingness to extend
But it turned out that PSG is not a footballing institution, but a brand that is trying to hijack football.
Trying to buy their way to glory and failing.
They now have the highest salary bill in the world while not even being in the top 10 clubs with most revenue in Europe.
They turned down all offers and did not even respond to RealMadrid's act of generosity.
Perez knew that if not 2021 for a fee, it would be 2022 on a free. PSG's oversized ego could not digest and understand that. They kept believing their money and political power would prevail
PSG had breached all written and nonwritten rules of FFP.
Not to mention forcing their players to stay like they did with Verratti, Marquinhos and Neymar prior to Mbappé and making them sign new contracts against their will.
A shame that could end up benefitting RMA.
On September 1st, and after a long summer for Mbappe in which he never commented publicly about this saga that never ended the way he had hoped,
he reposts this story of his bestfriend on IG:
"Respect to your professionalism. Reprogram your dreams for soon. You are the best"..
Kylian's reaction was mature and wise. He did not retaliate. He knew his destiny was still between PSG's hands back then and he could do nothing about it.
He kept his head up and promised himself to do his best in which was supposed to be his last season with for the Qataris.
💣 Couple of months later, while shining on the pitch, Mbappe has finally decided to come out and speak up about what happened in the summer.
"When i heard the president say I will never leave on a free AND i won't be sold, i got scared and told myself: And what happens now?"
PSG used the (fake) "Madrid's offer came late" excuse to "defend" their decision of turning down €200M for a player who's on the last year of his contract.
Mbappe himself also revealed to RMC Sport that PSG LIED. He said he informed them back in JULY that he wants to leave...
"I didnt appreciate how the club said that it came late, it makes me look like a thief when i told them early in the summer that i wanted to leave"
He also mentioned how PSG's galactic summer did not change his mind one bit about his decision of leaving, even Messi's signing..
Then comes the biggest and most key interview that clarified the whole situation and validated to the world the fact that Mbappe would not feel guilty for leaving for free, which was the card PSG were using when thinking of a renewal.
Mbappe's mum decides to talk to LeParisien.
💣 "Kylian has a clear dream and that's to play for Madrid"
"Kylian thinks its time to take the next step"
"As parents we never influenced his football decisions"
"now NO ONE can blame us for leaving for FREE, we tried to leave for a fee in the summer and the club blocked it"
A couple of months later, he even publishes his own auto-biographic comic book, where he spends half the book mentioning his Real Madrid obsession, and his experiences as a Real Madrid fan growing up.
Part 2 will be more focused on his political renewal that shocked the world, how it happened and what will happen next according to logic and some facts.
People always like to judge things very superficially.
But judging emotionally, without context clouds reality.
While many see his renewal as a betrayal, I believe it's actually the opposite.
You'd know that his desire to join Real Madrid was something i've never seen before, if you look at the facts throughout the whole saga instead of only looking at the surface of his renewal.
However, his club, for various reasons, didn't take his no for an answer.
They exerted political and economic pressure, even involving the PRESIDENT of the REPUBLIC, to force make him stay against his will.
Imagine being barely a 23 years old footballer
and having your dreams and choices stripped away from you in such a manner, when you've literally told the entire world your clear intentions beforehand?
In this context, Mbappé's relentless efforts to secure a move despite the overwhelming, insane Qatari-French political
power should be seen as a testament to his determination/courage. He repeatedly expressed his intentions to leave, making it clear that his desire to join the dream club was deeply ingrained. He fought against powerful forces, including LITERAL states, in his pursuit of the move.
It's crucial to recognize that this battle extended far beyond Mbappé himself. It became a matter of political interference and control, which extended to the highest levels of authority. This is why I never gullibly lost respect for him, because I actually saw
what he's been through all the years and what he's done to secure his dream move. I've never seen a a 23 year old football player go against 2 literal huge states like Qatar and France just because he dreams of playing for another club.
It isn't easy.
AND his renewal was only for 2 years to still make sure he eventually fulfills his Real Madrid dream.
If Perez didn't share my perspective, I can assure you he wouldn't have still been keen on bringing him to the Bernabeu.

At the moment, Real Madrid's "search for a number 9" is a CRAZY goldmine for journalists. They can use it to get more reactions (hence more money), and believe me they will use it like a bar of soap until there is nothing left.
As a Mariano replacement this is great news. La Liga proven, can be very useful against low blocks when nothing is working out and we need aerial presence.
Going from Mariano as a backup ST to Joselu is an insane upgrade. From Ceballos to Bellingham too. On to the next one ⏳
"🚨EXCL: Kylian Mbappé has communicated to PSG his desire to not renew his contract and leave for Real Madrid THIS SUMMER. PSG are finally expected to grant him his wish. Madrid-PSG talks imminent @TheAthletic" dagger in end of June is gonna hit like crack⏳
Coming back to every single one of you who's saying it's not possible a month from now
Communication has started, all part of the plan.
Just like Thiago Silva when he renewed his contract with Milan in 2012 and said on the same day how he plans to retire in Milan and ended up in Paris a couple of months later. WE WILL BE THERE Kylian 🤝
They have more passion for other teams than for their own team it's crazy
I'm crying 😭 why do they act so surprised every year when they fail to make it out of the UCL groups if they're PETRIFIED by the idea of playing good teams in Europe man
The problem is not with the racist individuals because they will always be there. The real problem is in the system that is supposed to protect the victims, and penalize/punish/prosecute the criminals. The referees who sit back and enjoy seeing a Real Madrid player get terrorized
What baffles me isn't the corrupt Spanish refereeing system, because we already know that it's been corrupted by Vini's rival club for decades. What baffles me is the lack of accountability for all this corruption and all these crimes. Sad day for football, strength to Vini 🙏🏻
At some point I was gaslighted into believing that Vinicius is partially to blame, but from what I've seen in the last months, this is getting beyond scandalous. Referees enjoy him being terrorized by fans and players, and when it all explodes in the end, they act like they care
You know how f*cked up it is if a player takes it to Twitter. Like I said, the situation is becoming dangerous. Spanish referees have crossed the realms of corruption and took it to a next level
Watch how this referee will get promoted now and will be appointed for bigger games from now on like all his predecessors under the Negreirato, from De Burgos Bengoetxea to Sanchez Martinez to Hernandez Hernandez to Clos Gomez.
to Iturralde to Mallenco to Gonzalez Gonzalez to Cuadra Fernandez to Melero to Munuera Montero to Martinez Munuera to to to
