There has been some news on the thought of Apple acquiring The Walt Disney Co

Needham analyst Laura Martin says, "Such a tie-up would create a juggernaut in technology, entertainment and content unlike anything ever seen. And, on several levels, makes a lot of sense"
$AAPL $DIS Image
1/

Martin went on to say the two are "complementary" and that they are more valuable together than separate

This would create a Technology, Entertainment, and Content juggernaut never before seen

$AAPL is one of the few companies with the cash to do something like this
2/

After all, CEO Bob Iger is in a period in which he is cutting costs and looking for a direction with streaming, which could mean selling off ESPN and/or Hulu

$DIS Mkt cap: $178 Billion

Martin believes an acquisition could cost around $200 Billion

Is there any smoke here?🌬️

Many investors today overlook the Balance Sheet, which can be a huge mistake

The Balance Sheet tells you the HEALTH of the company

Here is a QUICK walk thru on how to read a Balance Sheet: Image
1/ A Balance Sheet is a snapshot of a company's financial health

All Balance Sheets MUST balance using the following formula:

Assets = Liabilities + Owner's Equity

Without a healthy balance sheet, companies can fail to grow
2/ Unlike an Income Statement, which is reported over a period of time (3-months, 6-months, 9-months,etc), a Balance Sheet is continuously updating

Let's take a look at the MAIN components of a Balance Sheet
