Source: The league is heavily encouraging or perhaps even mandating improvements to #Rapids96 training facilities at DSGP. Players have filed grievances with the MLS Players Association pertaining to the lack of and rundown facilities forcing the league has stepped in.
The Rapids are one of only 3 MLS teams to not have a dedicated training facility.
Almost every team minus these 3 and a few others have indoor facilities as well. Teams building training centers in recent years have spent between $15-40m

ICYMI: KSE proposed a 3-way land swap between themselves, the city + S. Adam’s County Sewer and Water District back on 5/1 relating to land around DSGP. Back in 2014 KSE bought 250+ acres to build Victory Crossing. That never happened. Cont.

Now KSE wants to trade 9.7 acres to the water/sewer district who would send 6 acres to the city. In return, they want 88.2 acres.
