Legion "Freedom of Russia"

The situation from the front line of the liberation of Russia:

The West estimates that Russia has lost more than 60,000 troops in attempts to capture the city of Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine.

This was reported to journalists on Thursday by a Western official on condition of anonymity, according to European Pravda with reference to Sky News.
"We believe that the capture of Bakhmut probably cost Russia at least 60,000 casualties in the Bakhmut-Popasna sector during the year-long battle," the official said.

He clarified that 60,000 is a "conservative estimate" of Russian losses on this sector of the front, which includes both the wounded and the dead. Of these, the official added, at least a third are dead.
