Can someone let me know whether any of the politicians who were crying & taking a knee & pushing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act are condemning what's happening in Atlanta? Where are the people who had Black Lives Matter banners at the Democratic National Convention? 
No where are they? Where are the politicians who were marching? Who held the hands of Black mothers and said we gotta stop this? Where did they disappear to while Atlanta is building a facility that will guarantee the deaths of more Black children?
Where are all of the politicians who said, "protest peacefully" because right now the Atlanta Police Department is raiding the houses of activists who helped throw block parties, bailed protesters out, and pass out covid tests? Where is Barack? Kamala? James? Joe? #StopCopCity
Where is Abrams? Warnock? Where are all of the Black people who ran for office claiming to be our ancestors wildest dreams? Claiming the tradition of FANNIE LOU HAMER? where are they?
Where is Michelle? On the book tour? How Kamala got time to go to Black people funerals but not the courage to speak out to prevent them?
Where are the alum? Where is Eric Holder? Loretta? Valerie? Susan? Whoever where are these Black people who have gotten paid to save this country in the name of racial uplift while people are fighting to stop Cop City and save Black lives?
Hell where is Ben Crump? Al Sharpton? Jesse? All of the people who benefit from the somebody got killed by a cop starter kit? Where are they?
This is exactly why we need much more than electoral politics to resist. They will sell you that your vote is a part of the movement, then when the movement is here, they disappear
It's also why the criminalization of our dissent- arresting protesters, raiding houses, etc happening in Atl and elsewhere- is one of the greatest threats to our resistance and we still have to fight back and raise hell every time it happens
