OldTown Racing and DragonStone-Dakones F1 Team are in a heated battle to claim both Driver's and Constructor's Championship by the end of the season.
So far, it's going well for the DragonStone drivers and team entirely, until they got to —
— the Casterly Rock Grand Prix, where an on-track incident occurred that turned that heat into a scorching hot conflict.
OldTown Racing's driver, Aemond Targaryen, brake-tested DragonStone's driver, Lucerys Velaryon, in the middle of the race, taking them both out of the —
— Grand Prix as both cars got damaged.
"He just brake-tested me!" Lucerys clamoured through the radio.
"Yep, we saw, Luke. Are you okay?" His Race Engineer, Jacaerys, asked.
"I'm alright." What the radio didn't pick up was Luke calling Aemond, 'Incompetent —
— piece of shit.' Which was a good thing for their PR team.
On the other team. . .
"Aemond, what happened?" Criston Cole, Aemond's engineer, asked.
"It was nothing." Was the Targaryen's answer before climbing out of his car.
Post Race didn't bode well on both —
— teams and drivers. OldTown's PR team scrambled to make a credible story to divert the negativity away from the brake-testing issue.
"Was the brake-testing intentional or did something happen with the car?" A reporter asked Aemond, who looked like he just wanted to get —
— out of there.
"I was advised not to speak about it yet as we haven't had our debrief."
DragonStone, on the other hand, tried to keep Lucerys calm during the interview session. He was so close to cursing Aemond in front of the mic. —
— "Hello, Luke! So, can you tell me about what happened out there?"
"Pfft, I don't know. Someone just doesn't know how to distinguish which one is the throttle and which one's the brake pedal. Honestly, how is he even here? Could've hurt someone, if not me. . ." —
— Everyone, from the official media to the fans, went wild. They see the championship contenders are now starting to go at each other's throats.
If only they knew. . .
Back in the hotel, Lucerys went up to Aemond's room to confront him over what happened. Loud knocks were —
— heard, from inside and down the hall. Due to the noise, the door was immediately opened.
"What the f—"
"Out of my way, mittys." Lucerys marched inside Aemond's room as if he owned it. "Were you trying to kill me out there, huh? Was that your plan?" —
— "I have no idea what you're talking about, taobus."
"Stop pretending, was it your way for me to pay my 'debt'? A life for an eye?" Luke got closer to the other man, their chests were a hair away, almost touching. —
— The question hung in the air, the AC's noise filled the room, and a smug look was slowly painted on Aemond's face.
"It got your attention, didn't it?"
"SERIOUSLY?! GOT MY ATTENTION?!, Aemond I could have been injured!"
"You weren't noticing me for the past —
— few days, I had to get your attention, brat."
"Brat, ME?! Also, you could have gone to me and said, 'Hey Luke, can we talk or something?' like a normal person!"
"Nothing's normal when it comes to us, ñuha jorrāelagon."
Luke scoffed as he rolled his eyes. —
— "Of course because a normal person wouldn't brake-test someone to get their attention."
"Shut up, brat." Aemond said before grabbing Lucerys' face and giving him a heated kiss. Tongues and spit mixed, body heat increased, and hands wandered. They enjoyed —
— each other's presence after a long day of drama.
"You're explaining this to the press."
"Fine, sweetling."

it was family vacation season and aemond noticed how lucerys tended to stare at him every now and then. it irked him at first, thinking he was about to do or say something bad against him, but now he sees it as a common occurrence. —
— he was curious though; why was he just staring and not saying something? what was he thinking at that time? did he have something on his face, obviously other than the humongous scar over his eye, that was distracting? —
— the uncertainty was killing him and he had to take matters into his own hands.
when everyone was out to spend some quality time, albeit reluctantly for some, except for him and luke, who managed to convince his mother that he'd prefer to stay in that day, —
