Why does it feel the same like a horrible incident that happened in the past (27/02/2002) Godhra Kand ?
Is there any linkage of some organization behind this incident ?
OR
It was pre-planned ? (1/6)
Why are the opposition leaders spitting venom against Modi Gov in the US conference ?
OR
The Kavach System Fails due to technical faults ?
OR
Due to Human Fault ?
Let's understand the mechanism of changing the route of the railway track ! (2/6)
There are switches in the tracks, with moving parts that lead the train to a particular side.
The Arrangement basically has a pair of rails linked to each other.
The Railroad switch can only be in one position at a time locked or open. (3/6)
The Locked position diverges the path while the Open position leads the train straight.
The switch should be setup with at most care as any error could results in derailment.
In Early times, the switches are actuated by hand using levers for switching the point. (4/6)
Nowadays it is remotely controlled by an electric or pneumatic actuator. Compared to manually operated switches these were faster and much more convenient.
Switches are also called Turnout or Point.
(5/6)
Switches also included locks preventing them from sliding by the force of moving trains.
As this Odisha Train Incident is in stage of investigation it would be inappropriate to conclude.
Condolences to those Families who lost their loved ones.
