JAGABAN HAS GRABBED THE BULLS BY THE HORNS

By Dr. Ugoji Egbujo

Some said he went off script. They said the script said ‘end of June’. They argued he should have consulted with labour unions and worked out the cushions before pulling the subsidy rug off the feet of the masses. Image
But it seems Jagaban has not come to play. He wobbled a bit but didn’t backtrack. Effectively, he has taken two mad bulls by the horns. Petrol subsidies and multiple naira exchange rates have long tormented the fatherland. All that remains is how he guides the bulls through
to the abattoir with minimal collateral disruptions.

The troubles of Nigeria are naked. They are not occult. They don’t come as masquerades. They are bare-faced. The failure of our governments to confront them is a bizarre real-life tragedy. The petrol subsidy has been a

Tinubu was asked 10 questions during his interactive session at Chatham House but Tinubu did something strange before answering the questions.
Tinubu before taking on the questions said he has a team and the questions will be answered by not just him but also by some members of

his team which hopefully will form the next government.
Tinubu went on to answer 4 of the questions leaving Governor El-Rufai, Femi Gbajabiamila, Betta Edu, Wale Edun, Dele Alake and Ben Ayade to take on one each of the the remaining 6 questions.

My take away from Tinubu today in Kaduna !!!
by Davidson Ayoade Ojeniyi.

1. If you started your campaigns in Uyo, only to come to this Northern Forum to say you a Northern only candidate, you have lost the election already.
2. Northern APC Governors Forum made me the candidate of APC. They said that Presidency must go to the South. Yes, I am a Yoruba City Boy from Lagos. I never made myself a Yoruba. The Northern APC Governors supported by their Southern colleagues stood by me,
I beat them silly. Despite all the appeals to them after losing, they are cutting off.

3. I will fight bandits and terrorists with technology which Buhari just started this year and we are already seeing the effect. We will build on it.

Well, I did.

And the gloves came off very neatly during what I found to be an enjoyable 3-on-1 engagement.

All can be found on the thread below. 🇳🇬🦅

Tinubu has since relocated to Abuja to give close marking to civil servants and development partners, while trade associations and diplomats have been paying him visits.

One is still dragging hand luggage all over the place, and meeting diasporans that can't vote
The other, we don't even know his whereabouts.

It's been a while I did this, so, let me say again, just a few days to the official kick off the 2023 campaign...

... Of the 3 leading presidential candidates , BAT is still the likeliest to become the next president and he is, in
fact, the most serious about the ambition of them all.

Tinubu is still the most ready for 2023.

You can shout as usual as if I am your problem, but that's because what I have said has struck a nerve, and you know it's true.
