I'd rather embrace all of my fellow Jews.

I'd rather have half my family back in my life. I'd rather not be bullied. But I love my Jewish people too much to watch us kill my friends with bullets, words and turning away.

The cost is Palestinian lives. And our souls.
The cost too, will be our lives. More and more. As those leading Zionist expansion right now, and deeper apartheid, are making deals with antisemitic white supremacists while using antisemitism against left Jews, the cost will be more and more Jewish lives too.
And as they trade left Jews to the white supremacists, history always, always shows the white supremacists will come for all the Jews next. Including those who collaborated with them. And all of our friends.
The cost too will be LGBTQ rights, the constitution, the climate and much more. For right wing evangelical christians and right wing Jews, this is a suicide mission. And we're all going to pay for it unless we simply afford equal democracy to Palestinians, their human right.

What the ambassador forgets to say is that the ethnic cleansing campaign by Israel helped spark backlash against Mizrahi Jews. And political Zionists fanned those flames to boost immigration, and still do so.
Being a Jewish minority, or any minority, across Middle East states wasn't always great, but by measure to Jewish treatment by Europeans, was often superior. European colonialism of North Africa also, as always, fanned flames to help increase conflicts with minorities and others.
When Mizrahi Jews did come to the newly founded Israel, like Yeminis, our babies were stolen from our mothers, who were told they were lost during birth, only to be secretly given to European Jewish settlers, in a campaign of ethnic cleansing against fellow Jews.

Fatima Mousa Mohammed's CUNY controversy isn't new, she joins a long history of students that have historically given "controversial" speeches.

And of those that criticized empire and supremacism, they have stood the test of time to be correct and accepted as noncontroversial.
Fatima Mousa Mohammed is simply being used by what is likely a foreign state sponsored campaign to chill speech against apartheid. And here at home by the right who is always desperately seeking to defund public education.
We already know that if it's a Muslim immigrant woman with a hijab, it has proven to be an effective way to converge every faction of the US fascist movement: white supremacists, right wing Christians, right wing Jews, police bootlickers & mindless flag waving flesh bags of beer.

The best thing about the "If you don't like the USA, go back to your anti-__________ country where you'll get killed for being _______" line is that author most certainly votes to oppress _________ in the USA, and votes to back that anti-_______ dictator in whichever country.
Further poetic, is that the liberties in the US that the right wingers use to attack liberal or left immigrants, were fought for by the left, and opposed vehemently by the right.

It's kind of astonishing.
Also, imagine a self professed patriot telling George Washington, "if you don't like the tax code here in the colonies, maybe you should go back to England!"

These people are very not smart.
