Every left-wing argument against liberal democracy ultimately boils down to “the stuff we get with incremental change through electoral means pales in comparison to the benefits of a society I made up after a revolution I imagined in a world that doesn’t exist.”
When you compare the results delivered by the Democratic Party to the results of fanfic rather than the contents of it, the comparison starts to look a lot more favorable.

I’ve been triggered into grumpy serious adult posting so bear with me here:

I think the issue with a lot of proposed Twitter Lefty solutions for education is that they fundamentally do not understand the problem.
The problem facing society is not “How do we give each individual a custom-tailored education best suited for their talents and interests?”

It is “How do we give a good enough education for the needs of modern society in a timely fashion at scale?”
Unless your solution addresses how we do this at scale, it is not a real solution.

This is not a real solution either:

1.) abolish the state.
2.) create new means of organizing a modern society that is not the state with a different name.
