Unlike his opponents, he did not rely on feudal serfdom, military duty or bribery to garner his support. His honest 27-year political struggle sowed the seeds of love in the people.
2. They loathe Imran Khan for his embrace of an identity they try their best to shed.
IK is unapologetically Pakistani, whilst they spend most of their lives trying to remove anything that might reveal their identity.
