The court apologized for resuming late as there were certain issues they needed to settle in Chambers.
- With Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu, Awa Kalu, JS Okutekpa and many other SANs in court, Dr. Livy Uzoukwu SAN leads the Petitioners team. (Not to forget, the bone 🦴 crusher is in court, Vincent Otaokpukpu Esq.)
They all object to the admissibility of the Forms EC8Bs in respect to the 8 LGAs in Bayelsa and shall advance their reasons at the time of written address.

The Petitioners also moves to tender 23 copies of Forms EC8Bs representing the 23 LGAs of Benue State which is in line with their document and where all parties agreed to.

My Lords admitted the CTC of Forms EC8Bs from 21 LGAs in Kogi State into evidence and marked them as Exhibits PAA1-21
Petitioners:
They move to tender certified true copies of Forms EC8Bs in respect to 25 LGAs of Niger State.
All Respondents:
They all took turns in objecting to the admissibility of the documents and shall advance their reasons at the stage of final addresses.
The Court:
My Lords proceeded to admit all the documents of Forms EC8Bs of 25 LGAs of Niger State in evidence and marked them accordingly as Exhibits PAC1-
The court is expressing displeasure about the dressing of counsels in court, Hon. Justice Tsammani was specific about the patterns of lady's hairs and how they are outrageous.
He told them to do 'guy' outside the court and not when appearing in court...
He noted that if this was a normal court seating, he'd have walked the lady in question out... Slay Lawyer in the House.
From tomorrow, the court will enforce it but for today, 'Go and Sin No More.

There have been silence in court for more than 7 minutes now... The justices seem to be deliberating on something...
The court just noted that one of the LGAs document is not in the files submitted by the Petitioners as they cannot find it. It's for one Njaba LGA.
The Petitioners apologize and decide on 25 LGAs and will tender the one left subsequently.

They now seek to tender documents of Forms EC8Bs in respect of 19 LGAs in Kaduna State.

Their position is the same, they object to the admissibility of the documents and shall advance reasons subsequently.
The court noted that they have in the files, documents for 21 LGAs and not 19 as stated by the Petitioners.
The Petitioners inform the court that they will add the extra 2 to make it 21 LGAs as opposed to the earlier 19 mentioned.

My Lords ruled that all Forms EC8Bs with respect to 21 LGAs of Kaduna State are hereby admitted into evidence and marked as Exhibits PAJ1-21.
Petitioners:
They have sought to tender all INEC obtained certified true copies of Forms EC8Bs for 18 LGAs of Cross-River State.
All Respondents:
They object to the admissibility and shall advance their reasons in their final written addresses.
The Court:
The Justices have now admitted into evidence, all tendered documents of Forms EC8Bs in respect to the 18 LGAs of Cross-River State. They are respectively marked Exhibits PAL1-18.
Petitioners:
They sought to tender documents obtained & certified by INEC as custodians of these documents, which are Forms EC8Bs of 16 LGAs of Edo State.
All Respondents:
In uniform manner, they objected to the admissibility of the documents and will advance their reasons later
The Counsel to the 4th Respondent observed that on the schedule to the documents, the Petitioners listed one LGA twice and would require some clarifications.
Based on this, the Petitioners noted that it is an error and stepped down one, thereby leaving Forms EC8Bs at 15 LGAs.
The Court:
The documents, Forms EC8Bs of 15 LGAs of Edo State were admitted into evidence by the court and Marked as Exhibits PAM1-15.
Petitioners:
They now seek to tender Forms EC8Bs of 31 LGAs of Akwa-Ibom State.

The Counsel to INEC offered to help the Petitioners in case they are having difficulty sorting their documents... The Petitioners responded with laughter in the air, that INEC deliberately scattered the documents to frustrate them.

Petitioners:
The Counsel applied to the court to tender all Forms EC8Bs for all 20 LGAs of Lagos State as evidence they'll use in proving their case at the tribunal.

The bundles of 20 INEC certified Forms EC8Bs arising from 20 LGAs of Lagos State were admitted in evidence and duly marked as Exhibits PAP1-20
The Petitioners inform the court that they have documents of Forms EC8Bs for Ebonyi State, but because it was not listed in the schedule, they can push it to tomorrow and thereafter, they will move into tendering documents for Forms EC8Cs.
While we wait to continue the Peter Obi's case (CA/PEPC/03/2023) at the PEPT later today at 2pm, I decided to update you on all the documents submitted so far at the tribunal.
On Day 1 of the Hearing, Peter Obi tendered documents from the US District Court...
Showing evidence of the forfeiture of $460,000 by the 2nd Respondent (Tinubu).
Moving to Day 3 (1st June), Peter Obi moved to the tendering of PUBLIC DOCUMENTS duly certified by INEC. This they also did on Day 4 (2nd June).
Now let's look at these documents...
On Day 3 alone, Certified True Copies of Forms EC8A from 115 LGAs of 6 states were tendered. The states include Rivers, Benue, Cross-River, Niger, Osun and Ekiti.
All the respondents (INEC, Tinubu, Shettima and APC) objected to the tendering of each of these documents.
Mr. Saturday is in court already, even though it's a Friday. Man is looking too good to be representing the Respondent.
Anyways, I'm in court too, with my dear elder brother @realevabest, please follow him. I want to appear as Amicus Curiae today 😏😏 But I forgot my wig & gown.
