Let’s start with early life -

Roman Polanski was born on August 18, 1933, in Paris, France. His parents were Polish-Jewish immigrants.

Polanski developed an interest in filmmaking during his teenage years and attended the National Film School in Poland

There is also the connection to the Manson murder of Sharon Tate. Roman Polanski was married to a very pregnant Sharon Tate.

The Manson Family brutally killed Tate and her friends who were over at her house that night.

Polanski was away in London scouting film locations.

This was a brutal murder - Tate was found naked with one of her breasts slashed off and an “X” cut on her pregnant belly. She had been stabbed 16 times and the Family wrote the word, “PIG,” on the front door in her blood.

Polanski claimed to have been very disturbed and emotionally rocked by this event, but judging by his history I don’t think it’s out of the question to consider perhaps he had a hand in what happened.
