Whilst I’m on one about the abhorrent behaviour of social workers towards victims of domestic violence. Here’s another one: Rona Urquart.

All of my followers will be aware of Stuart McKinnon Hunter (Edinburgh) and most of what he did to me.

Here’s what happened with her…
Back in 2018 upon tracing us with the assistance of Edinburgh social workers, and having our refuge whereabouts divulged he dragged us through family court seeking full residency. This was the outcome of the court report: Image
There was to be NO CONTACT- not even indirectly.
Sigh of relief and believing we could get on with our new safe life would be short lived…

Skip to lockdown and one of my daughters has additional support needs and was being targeted by some neighbours instead of dealing with those targeting her for her ASN REACH got involved
REACH help children who have ASN and behaviour issues and help parents. Susan Harvey was amazing and I do not have a single bad word to say about her- gold standard that woman!

However Rona Urquart absolutely the opposite- dangerous to survivors
Rona took it upon herself to get in touch with my abuser and get him involved despite the court ruling.
This wasn’t just once either- she was meeting with him and calling him weekly and divulged our new address to him.
This shows that she has no understanding of domestic abuse ImageImage
The dynamics of domestic abuse are something that a lot of workers appear completely clueless about. They believe that incidents are isolated and well “he didn’t hurt the kids” (he did!) and “he says he’s sorry” - this is all too common and this shit needs called out!
It led to me being assaulted in my home but apparently that’s my fault because rona was “just doing her job” - the Nuremberg defence that they love so much!
Your job is meant to be supporting families and keeping them safe not having coffee with rapists and updating perpetrators on their victims whereabouts and lives!
I put in a formal complaint however it was a whitewash claiming that rona “wasn’t aware” “didn’t view her actions as placing us in any danger” and “did nothing illegal” 🙄🥴
Remember her colleague Alice Dixon got caught lying 27 times in a report about me - my complaint was upheld by the councils DPO. Image

A while ago my worst nightmare happened because Alice Dixon was targeting me and lying- on 9/12/2019 she removed my children. On 11/12/2019 they were returned to me and the grounds she used (which had no basis in fact) thrown out. Worse was to come….
She called me after the hearing to ask if I’d mind them hanging on to my youngest on a voluntary basis - I of course told her no way.
When my youngest child was returned she disclosed to me that the foster cater she’d been placed with for the 2 nights had physically assaulted her! She had bruises consistent with what she was saying happened- that’s why they wanted to hang onto her so I wouldn’t see the bruises

Let’s shine a light on guns for hire “experts” like Dr Claire Norfolk. Norfolk works with CAMHS in Perth. I have never met Dr Norfolk. I can’t tell you what she looks like nor her age, accent or anything about her. We have never met.
But she was hired by Colonsay to write a report about me - and a sheet was attached to it to say that I should never have sight of it….
But a friend of mine “accidentally” let me see it because she read it and was horrified at the total bull being pedalled… she knew me well and knew much of the “report” was copied and pasted from others she’d seen

For context on the type of dangerous person Alice Dixon, social worker based at Colonsay House in Perth is, she took my daughter, then 15, out on “dates” with these men and attempted to destroy me, my reputation and my work for raising safeguarding concerns about these two! ImageImageImage
To be clear my daughter is not any of the girls referred to in the articles.

I raised concerns that these two were in my opinion (I was studying forensic psychology at the time) were paedophiles and we’re grooming my daughter.
Alice was unhinged in her vitriolic attempts to silence and destroy me.

Let’s talk about the state of the judiciary in Scotland…

This was a Paedophile ring that ran out of Edinburgh Sheriff Court, one of the main victims only got compensation because the COPFS turned a blind eye as did the police for years.
One of the alleged members of this ring was Sheriff Andrew Lothian.
Lothian was outed as an alleged paedophile and definite Domestic abuser in 2001. That should have been game over for him. It wasn’t.
In 2002 I had the misfortune to have a case that involved Lothian as Sheriff in the family court. My ex upon hearing that I was planning to emigrate (we’d split up in summer 2001) stole my children and pretended I’d abandoned them! Lothian gave him a temporary residency order.

When Stuart hit me with his car he did so intentionally- he knew I was pregnant- the only part of his plan that didn’t work out was that he wasn’t going fast enough to kill me, he did kill our baby! He was given a plea deal to reckless and culpable conduct
and ordered to pay me just £300 compensation for my loss. This failed to take into consideration his pattern of abusive behaviour, and the impact this incident had not just on me but my whole family, especially my children who witnessed what he did that day.
He should have gone to prison. If it had happened in England he’d have been jailed for up to 15 years- not free to continue abusing and stalking me.

🧵The other day I had an update from the committee that my petition (going forward as an amendment to The Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Act 2018) will be discussed by the committee on the 3rd May 2023.
Meantime, my petition has been reopened for signatures- so if you missed the chance to sign it in 2021, you can now sign to show support.

The amendment would make it an offence to: “contribute or attempt to contribute to the ending of a partner or ex partners pregnancy by violence, abusive behaviour, deception or coercion”
