Movie Studios failed to kill the VCR. It revolutionized the industry forever

Gaming studios failed to kill emulators. It revolutionized the industry forever

The music industry tried to kill streaming. It revolutionized the industry forever

Publishers successfully killed ebooks
Guess what. Book reading has declined as every other type of entertainment has gotten cheaper and more convenient and books never were allowed to

BOTW dealing with a memory leak by making it into a game mechanic is so cool

(regular/panic blood moons)
When they were making the game, it had a memory leak problem when it runs long enough, so to solve it, they created an event called a blood moon which resets the game state. They added some lore that it revives the monsters, but really all it is is unloading all instanced objects
Additionally, there's something called a "panic blood moon", where if the game is about to run out of memory, it pulls one of these events and resets thing back to their default state

Just a reminder that the leaders of the first (Bibi) and third (Ben-Gvir) biggest parties in Israel both got their claim to fame by orchestrating the assassination of the social liberal PM of Israel, Rabin.
"A few weeks before the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, Ben-Gvir came to public attention for the first time when he appeared on television brandishing a Cadillac emblem that had been stolen from Rabin's car and declared: "We got his car, and we'll get him too"
"Rallies organized by Netanyahu featured depictions of Rabin in the crosshairs of a gun. Protesters chanted "Rabin is a traitor". In July 1995, Netanyahu led a mock funeral featuring a coffin and hangman's noose at an anti-Rabin rally where protesters chanted, "Death to Rabin"."

2 weeks until the Israeli elections!! So I will create a megathread! Everything you ever wanted to know about Election #5! Israeli politics has become extremly polarized lately around the pro-Bibi and anti-Bibi blocks, after a series of government collapses.
Let's begin! The big one! The netanyahu cult! The right-wing Likud. Probably heard of them! Basically a copy-cat GOP. They sort of go with the flow in israel, centrist-ish on economics but right-wing yet secular socially.
After multiple scandals, his popularity has waned a bit over time, and he's become very very polarizing, but he still is probably the most popular candidate to be PM.

Bibi Block.

Current Seats: 30
